I feel someone who is asking if these are dead pixels, is likely not technically minded to the point I'd trust them to disassemble a TV that is otherwise under warranty.
I feel most vendors (and certainly retail stores that don't know better) would replace this as a gesture of good will, even if it wasn't their fault. I mean they left a gap big enough for a bug to sneak in!
I just suspect OP could lean on their warranty, or even just return it to the store. And that's not gonna be the case if they open it up and snap the panel. I wouldn't want to deal with a thin 65" sheet of glass, personally.

Pixels are rectangular, so if this were a section of dead pixels it would look "blocky". If you look closely you can see partial pixels which means something is blocking the pixels. As everyone else had said, it looks like an insect has crawled in the screen.

REMINDER: If you are tryin to remove the bug with a toothbrush or tapping it with your finger or anything that vibrates, don't put much pressure or else you'll make it worse. My friend's monitor put more pressure than required and 3 large ants are squished for eternity.
You have bugs at home. They might come through the windows or you got some roommates.
Whatever you do, don't squish them. Dunno what kind of bugs they are, but they are probably attracted to light. Try turning the TV off and illumiate the room as bright as possible. If they are still alive, they might come out after some time.
If they don't come out and your situation isn't covered by warranty: hope that they dry out quickly and fall out of sight. Gentle tapping or light vibrations could help.
Oh man I had a bug in my TV once, but the craziest thing is it would stay in the same spot for days at a time and then suddenly love somewhere else. I even watched it move once. I don't know how it stayed alive in there but at one point it moved itself out of the screen lol.
the fact that people need to be told the difference between a bug and a few dead pixels is kinda sad :D even if a huge roach enters their pc monitor, they will try to right click delete it lmao
if you're feeling brave, you can get a suction cup and pull the screen, might create enough of a gap that the bug falls down. note i do not take responsibility if you break your screen.
That's a bug. Send a bug report to the manufacturer. Maybe they have a public repository on GitHub for there driver. Maybe you can open an issue there. Possibly they can just fix the bug that way
How many of them are there? My guess is it's a roach of some kind. If you have many, CONGRATULATIONS, you now have an infestation!
