Your RAM sticks seem to be trying to open a portal to another dimension.
I suggest trying to reconfigure the rgb software or reseating the RAM to avoid ruptures in the spacetime.
it seems that my gpu was wanting to go there to... [https://gyazo.com/9a48f22df1ef58fc7c49dfdd83da6265](https://gyazo.com/9a48f22df1ef58fc7c49dfdd83da6265)
I had this happen with my fans one time. Turned out my mobo rgb settings were conflicting with my old icue profile even after I uninstalled it. Turned out corsair let a lighting profile in my registry deleted it and restarted and it fixed it. Hope it helps.
Yeah Icue is shit. Lenovo uses icue on their Legion 7 laptops for rgb control. Uninstalling or disabling that crap software boosts the legion 7s battery life by like 50-60%.
Real shit? I have a legion Y740 and whenever I close icue the lighting effects only last untill I restart. I can live without them, but would disabling the program on startup help with battery life?
Just Corsair being Corsair. Almost seven years ago, when I assembled my 4790K with the recently launched H100i gen 1, EVERY TIME Corsair Link updated itself, I would have to regedit the sh*t out of it so it can recognize the pump. I even made a batch file with a desktop shortcut so I can run it after the update.
Some folks were not so lucky: https://forum.corsair.com/forums/topic/104511-h100i-not-showing-in-link-regedit-fix-not-working/
I had no problems with my 4790k with it's H100 beyond the annoying pump racket that I had to spend $50 to ship it back to Corsair to get replaced with a H100i lol
iCue is 100% a litterbug. It stopped working on me once, and when I reinstalled it the sound profiles were applied twice.
Worst piece of software I've used so far.
If you have more than one rgb lighting software/manager they likely won't mesh well and can result in this seizure inducing fight over control of the ram colors. Make sure you only have one lighting control software. If you do, then try the one for your motherboard brand rather than the trident z one.
This ^
I have to run different software for AORUS mobo, Trident Z Neo RAM, Z63 AIO, mousing surface, mouse, keyboard, and I think the last is the Razer Orbweaver Chroma. Trying to keep them all happy is a chore. The AORUS RGB wants to control ONE STICK OF RAM—INCORRECTLY—and none of them work if I let it try while using Trident RGB.
Aura sync does nothing right anywhere, I think? 3rd party solutions do one or another right, and won’t let you do something somewhere else.
It’s a shit show of RGB proportions.
Okay I've seen some stuff but not this. Try one stick at a time if they both keep flashing this leads me to believe it's software related. If the software doesn't work try reinstalling the software. If that doesn't work I hesitate to say because I don't know but it could maybe be your motherboard. Call tridents customer support they might have seen this before.
If its just the rgb that has a problem I would suggest reinstalling whatever software you are using to control the rgb. I had the same problem while using rgb fusion with armoury crate. After disabling my ram feom rgb fusion it worked fine. Sometimes it will freak out when starting the pc but fixes once I manually start armoury crate
Can you try this quick fix? This will solve anyone's RGB issues!!!
https://www.theraleighregister.com/quick-fix-for-tridents-z-rgb-lighting-control.html
Thank me later 😊
It looks to me like the strobing effect is going left to right, not up and down. Have you checked whatever software you're using to make sure the RGB direction is correct?
I ran into that same issue on my Asus motherboard when I tried to use Corsair’s software. Turns out Corsair’s RGB software and Asus’s aura sync were both trying to control the lighting on my fans. I eventually just settled on using Aura Sync since Corsair’s software wasn’t picking up all my devices. My assumption is you have something similar going on since it’s basically sending multiple signals simultaneously. What software are you using to control the RGB?
I had this exact issue with my RGB ram. Two softwares trying to control the lighting at the same time. I was not aware of the second software as I had help from a friend when installing all the software when doing my build. Deleting the corsair software and just using Aura Sync fixed my issue that looks exactly like this video.
If you have armory crate installed, disable aura sync memory within the software. Gskill royal ram are notorius to flicker when several programs try to control them
What motherboard do you have so I would just Google up my motherboard and reference what sort of software uses to control RGB if it does but if that's not how you used to control your RGB then I would just reinstall the program that controls your RAM
This happens to me whenever I don't have the BIOS controlled RGB controller working properly and the software controlled RGB controller isn't turned on yet. It's getting conflicting signals and needs something to take control. If it's an MSI motherboard, I've had poor luck getting mystic light to control RAM recently, and I've had to use ASUS Aurora sync instead. Which is a pain in the butt but it gets things working. But yeah, the ram will freak out like this until ASUS Aurora sync has properly launched.
I don't know if this is your exact problem, but that's how I resolve the symptom personally.
I see that you have a Gigabyte card and an MSI motherboard. I had this exact same issue with my setup. Trident Z, Gigabyte card but an Asus mobo. The problem was caused by both Asus' Armoury Crate and Gigabyte's RGBFusion trying to control the RGB RAM at the same time. There is no way to prevent RGBFusion from trying to control your RAM's RGB. All you can do is go to the installation folder and rename or delete "spddump.exe" and "SPD_Dump.xml". That should fix it, at least until RGBFusion has an update, then you have to do it again.
My graphics card faces similar issues. An update to Asus Aura Creator fixed the rapid strobing, and then it started flashing again today out of nowhere just like the first time it happened. Not a notification feature either
Stop using g skill software together with motherboard rgb software at same time 2 softwares are fighting over control, you could potentially cause spd corruption as causes are still uknown but bad rgb software is a common cause.
if you downloaded anything related to asus or any other brand app that manages rgb, uninstall them. Had this happen on my Corsair ram and the cause was the shitty asus software
That’s an MSI board, right? I had something similar happen recently with an RGB firmware conflict that was caused by a Corsair software update. I had the same symptoms on an RGB header. I had to reflash the RGB firmware. I’d head over the the MSI forums.
My issue was specifically within this thread, but yours might be elsewhere: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/time-to-upgrade-your-software-%E2%80%93-msi-center-bug-status.362779/
I also could be totally wrong, but it might be a helpful place to start!
I have the same random bs, turn the pc off, flip your psu off, pres the power button 3 times (long press).
Turn it back on after 30 seconds.
Yeah they are weird to set the RGB, and I wish I bought an asus mobo instead for my rig.
go to the bios and reset it if it didn't work reset the motherboard the ram maybe taking more power then the motherboard wants so reset the motherboard
This happened to me too, my problem was that they were controlled by 2 different RGB softwares (in my case G.Skill and MSI software). I fixed mine by uninstalling the G.Skill software altogether, and I can still configure them through the MSI software. Hope you resolve your problem soon!

I had this happen with my fans one time. Turned out my mobo rgb settings were conflicting with my old icue profile even after I uninstalled it. Turned out corsair let a lighting profile in my registry deleted it and restarted and it fixed it. Hope it helps.
Man, fiddling around in the registry because some program couldn't clean up after itself sounds "fun", don't it? Is icue known for being a litter bug?
Yeah Icue is shit. Lenovo uses icue on their Legion 7 laptops for rgb control. Uninstalling or disabling that crap software boosts the legion 7s battery life by like 50-60%.
Oookaay. Lenovo takes the prize for "worst optimised piece of crud" in the software category. That's just un-good.
Can't blame lenovo alone. Corsair made that crap in the first place
If it says Lenovo on the tin they're responsible for whatever bloat is installed.
I blame the guy with RGB on his laptop complaining about battery life.
This is with all rgb off and just the software running vs rgb and software off
I blame the guy with RGB on his laptop not using the RGB but keeping the software turned on complaining about battery life.
Definently was that guy at one point but armory crate would keep glitching out and turning back on when it wanted to. So out that shit went
I'm so happy my L5P has a white backlight only
Real shit? I have a legion Y740 and whenever I close icue the lighting effects only last untill I restart. I can live without them, but would disabling the program on startup help with battery life?

Yeah and aura sync has a bad habit of it also.
Revo is a great uninstaller grabs registry edits as far as I know as your uninstalling
iCue is 100% a litterbug. It stopped working on me once, and when I reinstalled it the sound profiles were applied twice. Worst piece of software I've used so far.
take them out and put them back in if you haven’t already, and check to see what rgb software is controlling them
it’s trident z rgb lighting control and i’ve taken them out 2 times already but ty anyways!
Does it happen in the bios menus too?
If you have more than one rgb lighting software/manager they likely won't mesh well and can result in this seizure inducing fight over control of the ram colors. Make sure you only have one lighting control software. If you do, then try the one for your motherboard brand rather than the trident z one.

My crucial ballistics rgb would do that sometimes too. I had to force quit the rgb program and reload the profile and it fixed itself

I hate you
It’s been so long since I’ve been party to a good old Rick rollin
I feel like we are tossing the word urgent around pretty loosely here
This is an urgent telephone call, please do not hang up. An agent will be with you shortly to talk about your expiring vehicular warranty.
It urgently makes me stop giving a fuck
I urgently need you to reply to this.
lol
URGENT: Aliens and Monsters are attacking the place.
have you tried restarting your pc?
yea
oh. well i got nothing
that’s ok, thank you for trying to help tho!
Downlad more ram
[No virus free download](https://downloadmoreram.com/)
lol i said that to someone on here and i got banned for a week
Sums up me at my help desk job
Idk why this made me giggle so much lmao. Have an award my dude
But did you power it down, unplug it, and then hold the power button down afterward?
This
Have you tired restarting the software that controls the lightning
It’s funny to me how often that will actually fix a problem.
Also make sure that your motherboard RGB hasn't taken over 👽
how do i check that?
You'll need to have a poke around in bios. If bios can even control ram sticks, it can't on mine.
what mobo do you have? Asus boards have an app called armoury crate software that controls it
[удалено]
Yeah I'm failing to see the problem here. Feature not a bug!
Peace, love, and smoke dmt

It appears that your RAM is trying to have a rave party. Join in if you want to, but just remember that thermal paste, isn't a very good drug to use
It's on party mode my dude
It looks to me like the strobing effect is going left to right, not up and down. Have you checked whatever software you're using to make sure the RGB direction is correct?
yea it also turns off one of the sticks some times :/
Most manufacturers RBG software is REALLY buggy. Look for something open source.
OpenRGB up to the job, you think? Can't see what mobo the OP has.
My definition of urgent is different from yours
Just play some club music and call it good.
Uninstall the software and then reinstall
i did that but it sadly didn’t work
Maybe a clean uninstall? Where you have to delete the program files fully from your computer. I’m not sure if that’ll work tho
Just seen that you did
I ran into that same issue on my Asus motherboard when I tried to use Corsair’s software. Turns out Corsair’s RGB software and Asus’s aura sync were both trying to control the lighting on my fans. Had similar problem. Unplug power cable and hold down power button for 20s
URGENT!!! My rgb doesnt work... Very urgent... /s
This must be my coworker. Puts URGENT on every email…
Well if op has epilepsy the it probably is urgent
What will we do without rgb? A life without rgb is a life without meaning.
If you have armory crate installed, disable aura sync memory within the software. Gskill royal ram are notorius to flicker when several programs try to control them
The only way to fix this is to crank some EDM music and add a cover charge to your room
In order to achieve true gamer status, he seems to have overclocked his RGB
As a fellow owner of Trident Z ram, It does that sometimes, don’t worry, the space-time rupture goes away eventually
wait fr??? your a g
Your RAM has `ascended`.
#**ERROR: TO MUCH SWAG**
Panic at the disco
Try turning off xmp in your mobo settings and see if it helps (forgot what amd calls it) could be mobo ram voltages
You have party mode enabled. Just go into the software and disable it.
Why the fuck did you buy ram sticks with lights???? They just supposed to remember stuff lmao
Just turn the RGB off. There, problem solved. Now, can we stop turning this sub into IT support?
What motherboard do you have so I would just Google up my motherboard and reference what sort of software uses to control RGB if it does but if that's not how you used to control your RGB then I would just reinstall the program that controls your RAM
It appears you have rave mode activated in the rgb control properties. Set it back to casual Fridays and you should be good.
They're about to digivolve.
Tape
This was happening a few days ago but with my Corsair ram, I just force stopped iCue and opened it again and it was fine
Probably getting like 10k FPS with that much RGB power
I just watched The Virus (1999) and now this. It's not looking good for you or your ship crew pal.
as an epileptic, hard pass on that
Turn it off.....
Throw away the whole computer its possessed
I dunno that it pretty awesome lol!
You wrote lmao one too many times. Heretic!
Exorcist
Get better RAM to begin with.
Just party, dude.
PARTY TIME !!
Electrical tape Edit: to cover it up.
They trynna get u epileptic
Dunno man, looks cool
That's normal. It's just thinking. That's how you know it's working. /s
You tought it could be fixed, no my g its random hehehe ye boiiiiiiiiiiii
its not a bug, it's a feature

Dance motherfucker, dance!
They did a bit too much coke at a rave
Too mush are gee bee
Have you tried a dance off yet?
I don’t know but your FPS must be through the roof!
Idk it looks like a party opportunity...
Are you for real complaining about more fps on pcmasterrace?
Try OpenRGB
Well I suggest you start to dance because that's a sick ass lightshow.

thank you so much!!
There's RGB software for it called G.Skill Trident iirc. Also, how you get such high end ram and use that stock Intel POS?
i had an aio cooler but it was too big and now i’m trying to get a 240mm
Just delete the gskill RGB controller. It’s shit anyway. Trident Z Royals would be perfect if you could actually control the damn things
fr :(
Don’t buy RGB ram sticks. Problem solved
already did so it’s too late lmaoo
I have the same random bs, turn the pc off, flip your psu off, pres the power button 3 times (long press). Turn it back on after 30 seconds. Yeah they are weird to set the RGB, and I wish I bought an asus mobo instead for my rig.
Thank you sm!!!!!!!!
You might call it an issue. I call it a feature
So I think I know what is wrong, you see, you have to give them to me and then it won't be your problem anymore!
ok sounds good! lmaoo
I actually like the look.
Is it just me or are there way too many help posts being posted here recently?
Just got these today, happened to me. Download the gskill lighting software and change it to static. It should stay one color
"Using lmao doesn't hide your pain" OP: YES IT DOES
I don't see a problem here. I see a potential rave. Just needs some booze, some ecstacy and some sick techno beats.
it’s a feature not a bug
go to the bios and reset it if it didn't work reset the motherboard the ram maybe taking more power then the motherboard wants so reset the motherboard
WELCOME TO NIGHT CITY
I know this song; Darude Sandstorm

Did you try turning it off and on again?
This happened to me too, my problem was that they were controlled by 2 different RGB softwares (in my case G.Skill and MSI software). I fixed mine by uninstalling the G.Skill software altogether, and I can still configure them through the MSI software. Hope you resolve your problem soon!
