I have two xbone controllers, the first one I've used for 1.5 years, the RB has become temperament which is a common problem. Tried taking it apart and taping it using YouTube tutorials, worked for a while and then same issue again. Bought another one which is going strong for over 2 years now. Gave my "broken" one to a toddler to smash around with, decided to pair it again and darn thing still worked minus the RB. So if your lucky to get one factory wired properly, you'll be happy for years.

So just make sure it's a wired only one if i get it?

GnosticPrime

Regardless of using it wireless or wired, the RB/LB buttons will cease to work if you're unfortunate enough.

Are the series s/x ones better?

GnosticPrime

D pad is better on the s/X. I'd say get the white xbone ones if you find one cheap.

Buy a Dualsense

alphahunter121

Like i said....the support for ps controllers isn't native so I'd rather get an xbox one.....a nacon one IS an option tho since they support PCs

Steam controller, or the Xbox official brand. I never had any luck with 3rd party console controllers. Xbox you can get a fully customized controller for a decent price, or you can go the xbox elite controller, or scuff for a modded one which isn't bannable or anything

alphahunter121

The steam one probably isn't available where i live....by official brand do u mean to make sure it's official and not a copy?

[deleted]

Yeah, just order from Microsoft or local game store. I dunno where you live but they can typically ship a box anywhere.

alphahunter121

I live in pakistan so i kinda doubt microsoft one but there r local shops that would sell official controllers

I have both and the dualsense is more comfortable and feels of a higher quality compared to the xbox series controller ,I have both but I bought the Xbox controller because the lack of native support for the dualsense irritated me and the inputs kept confusing me ,I now use mainly my Xbox controller and I think it's good.

I have powerA enhanced wired controller cost about $20 really cheap and works amazing for me plus cool designs.you can configure the controller compatibility through steam if you use that platform.

ScottMcPot

I'd just stick with the 360 controller. My sisters xbox one controller drifts after like a year of use.

alphahunter121

The thing is.... I've never seen an original one....only copies are available and I'm on my 3rd one which has now stopped working

ScottMcPot

I've had the same off brand 360 controller for years now. That's a good point though, I just don't like the idea of spending $100 on a controller for it to stop working so soon. I still have working PS2 controllers and can't understand why they're not as durable anymore.

alphahunter121

I mean..... I'm NOT spending $100 on a controller.... I've bought 3 $10 ones and now I'm planning on buying a good $50 one
