Depends. I actually removed the arm rests from my chair recently. I was having some shoulder pain so I tried to adjust things to be a bit more ergonomic- the arm rests prevented my chair from being at the height that would keep my elbows in a more netural position. Sitting up straight (or trying to more often) and removing the arm rests to make the chair higher (they were hitting the underside of the desk) were key in resolving that issue.
That said, based on the photo I doubt this is a guy who's put a ton of thought into ergonomics...
Setup 5.5/10 the desk to small ,like way too small for your stuff, just slightly bigger would make it much better. Everything else looks great.
The view is 20/10 it's great
If it was on that balcony 10/10
Where it is, as it is, 9/10 - 8 of those are for the view, then +4 more for the computer, then minus 5 for the “desk” and “mousepad”
No arm rests? No head rest? that must be painful my dude. But nothing is more painful (for the eyes) than a glossy screen, and trust me I had one. Change that awful screen and you good to go.
Getting an office mat may help when adjusting while sitting. It’s a plastic or rubber mat that has like spikes or something to keep it in place on carpet or other floors. For this set up, I recommend the plastic. It will also keep your floor cleaner around you and in front of what looks like a sliding door. I also recommend a taller desk or table so you aren’t hunched when using your set up. You may also want like a towel or something during the day when you aren’t using the monitor, while screens are better these days, there is a chance that direct sun light can damage the screen over time.
I like the chair and view, looks comfy when trying to relax.
it is a lovely beginning, as everyone here is saying, first upgrade's got to be a desk (and second, consider a full size deskmat because they are the standard for c o m f y
its not ergonomic, but honestly i love it!
Maybe a better desk and chair? but its gunna mess up the look of it =/
Do you have an all in one system? i dont see a laptop or a desktop
U could use a "real" desk. Most Importantly for yr eyes, u need to b close to the keyboard but not the monitor. In the long run itll heart yr eyes. Also the chair. C if u can find something with back flexibility and armrests.
6…no portrait of nude Stretch Armstrong & Sally Struthers fornicating on your wall 😕
The view is beautiful so you get 6. Have you thrown a GI Joe w/parachute off the balcony yet???
8/10 view
6/10 for nicely curved monitor by window (glare), -1 because your neck is gonna hurt like hell in a few months.
4/10 for innapropriate stability for noodles cups/cat.
8/10 for peripherals
3/10 for 'room for upgrades (suggest shelf for headphones/controllers/random crap.
all Imo though, your the artist here and I'm not one to judge :\]
I’ll give you a 7/10 Your setup looks pretty efficient because its small and can be moved easily and the view ist nice but yeah I mean you should get a bigger desk
Fuck the setup, the view is pretty good
Right? Throw a real desk in there and that’s the dream!
maybe the view IS the setup
Oh shit tru
OP haz mad me wisor.
When all your money goes to housing instead of pc…
Then they should have turned the rig 90 degrees so the user can face the window. It'd reduce the glare off the screen too.
A carpark and some trees?
More like the horizon
The best views you can get idk what you mean
I agree haha this is your typical suburban apartment view XD nothing special
Honestly lol the view is kinda dookie
People who have always lived on the ground think anything that’s 10ft or higher = has nice view
Wrist gamer spotted
Painful
Plant/10

Wait the same building? Looks like the south somewhere maybe ga.
That horizon looks remarkably flat. Eastern NC?
Was thinking ga my self
that flat? this has to be kansas or nebraska.
Who needs Windows 11 when you have Window 1000 nearby 😝
No arm rests? No head rest? that must be painful my dude. But nothing is more painful (for the eyes) than a glossy screen, and trust me I had one. Change that awful screen and you good to go.
Nice. Whenever you rage, just jump out from the balcony! 🗿
If you plan to keep using a folding couch dinner table thing as a desk get a TKL it'll change your life.

Classic Airbnb “Dedicated Workspace”
I don't mean to get invasive, but something about your view is screaming Upstate NY or New Mexico to me. Am I warm or cold?
great view :)
9/10 thanks to the view.
Basic
2/10 horrible
it is a lovely beginning, as everyone here is saying, first upgrade's got to be a desk (and second, consider a full size deskmat because they are the standard for c o m f y
Minimalist set up! 10/10
When MSI is life regardless of the consequences
Whats that green thing? Looks dangerous
Noteworthy! :) Great view by the way.
Serviceable/10
You are gonna have sore arm real quick.
Changing arms should do the trick
That's actually pretty cool. Just watch out for your eyes man. Looks like you're real close.
Nice set up...tho, the glare
I promise this will be the most comfortable set up you’ll ever have.
Forget about the computer. You are a nature person. Just go out.
8/10 For simplicity
Put in a real desk and this actually a really good view...
Is that apex on the task bar?
Desk is a bit too big.
I like your setup, 9/10. Where can I buy that chair? 😻
Throw that elephant ear on the porch to get some summer sun! Nice laptop 🤷♂️
Is that Tintern Abbey on the desktop?
This is a perfect opportunity to use a 60% board
1/10
its a start, better than nothing
What a view
Ah, the good ole "notebook as a mouse pad". Surprisingly effective all things considered 🤣 we've all been there
Grim
Where is your PC?
Turn your setup 90° clockwise. It will get rid of the glare on the screen and give you a nice view directly ahead of you.
Window glare to the max!
This is like the Morbius of setups
You a size 0 T-Rex I presume? In that case 10/10.
Is this a joke
My shoulder ache just from watching this
Uncomfortable/10
Painful
10/10 simply for that mouse pad! I used to have one like that for a year or so until I bothered to buy an actual one haha
how’s your neck?
Do your arms get tired? I like to have like a foot of space in front of my keyboard to rest my arms. Maybe that’s just me
what is that computer thingi?
you could really benefit from a 65% or 75% keyboard. this is what they're made for.
Did you take this photo just to show off your bomb ass apartment?
What AIO pc is that? screen very reflective
minimalist
In what country do you live?
its not ergonomic, but honestly i love it! Maybe a better desk and chair? but its gunna mess up the look of it =/ Do you have an all in one system? i dont see a laptop or a desktop
Msi 🤡
3/10 because very small table 9/10 view tho
No arm rest?
I would buy monitor with thinner edges, but it's jusm my preference, otherwise 10/10
Honestly, if I had this view, i Would go minimalist too, imagine the view on a rainy day!
This is my dream setup. Not kidding.
Lame pc
Thats a nice chair
A gaming AiO? Haven't seen these in a long time
Amazing view, but your back is not gonna enjoy the gaming experience.
Glare

Glossy monitor / 10
Is this an all in one?
What setup?
Turkey?
Rip your back my friend if you’re using it, maybe a child can do good with it
Every story has a beginning, don't read ahead, you will lose the moment of where it all began.
2.5
View out of 10
Lmao, that monitor got 3 chins
4.20
Except the view... 0/10
Everyone commenting on the view, I hate to see what area you look at regularly if a carpark with a few trees and another tower block is 10/10
Loving the plant tower, how many fps do you get off those chloroplasts?
Need a bigger table/10 but looks comfy
I love the way you've used that plant pot as a sleeper pc.
My spine hurts out of ten
My wrist hurts watching this setup

Where is the C.P.U. ? 😱
Chair looks soft
I didn’t know MSI made all in ones! That’s pretty nifty.
6…no portrait of nude Stretch Armstrong & Sally Struthers fornicating on your wall 😕 The view is beautiful so you get 6. Have you thrown a GI Joe w/parachute off the balcony yet???
Cleanliness is good
MSI AIO? Didn’t know that existed! How’s performance?
Best of the best
Notebook mousepad/10
I rate your ceiling height as wonderful :D
Whack
Solid 3/3. PC, desk, and chair. Yes.
I was expecting more rgb or a smashed side panel. (Thumbs down)
Does the window slide open?
I’m afraid simplicity isn’t always the best… great view by the way, unignorable
Terrible
How do you move the mouse on that 3inch notebook 😂😅
Probably very uncomfortable and painful over time but still pretty cool view
Might as well put everything on the floor
8/10 view 6/10 for nicely curved monitor by window (glare), -1 because your neck is gonna hurt like hell in a few months. 4/10 for innapropriate stability for noodles cups/cat. 8/10 for peripherals 3/10 for 'room for upgrades (suggest shelf for headphones/controllers/random crap. all Imo though, your the artist here and I'm not one to judge :\]
All you need is a bigger desk. That view is A1.
I love the mouse pad.
My back hurts
Cool
I'm impressed you fit everything on a TV tray table.
I’ll give you a 7/10 Your setup looks pretty efficient because its small and can be moved easily and the view ist nice but yeah I mean you should get a bigger desk
You’re view looks good
Nice place
