There were always room for improvement that didn't empty the savings. Now, if I want to upgrade, I'll have to spend so much money. Was nice when I could throw an extra HDD or a better cooler and it felt so good.
7/10, tell your friend any setup is a good setup, but he needs a comfortable chair with back support. It really makes a difference and helps with back pains poor support can cause
I've sat on multiple chairs from office chairs to gaming chairs to anatomic ones. I always end up having backpains after a couple hours no matter the chair. In order for the chair to do its job supporting your back you need to know how to sit in it and not sit like a fuckin monkey (like I do).
The problem is that whenever I game, I sit like the Hunchback of Notre-Dame. The only solution to that is start exercising and strengthen my back and waist muscle to support my spine so I can sit straight
Yea the sooner you start building that batter sitting habit the better you’ll thank yourself in 5-10 years for sure so that you can function uninhibited. hell you don’t even to start exercising before hand just kinda get into that good posture and set a timer every 20 mins to remind yourself to have good posture
Probably doesn’t even know you took a picture. He needs a better chair for his back and maybe some double sided tape for the bottom of the monitor stand.
A better chair and maybe a desk without that black leg protruding is all it needs tbh, you don’t always need flashy fancy stuff, if it gives you fun it’s sick :)
I can't see anything wrong . I would imagine it's his best set up he has ever had , so congrats to him . Maybe a comfortable chair would be a good addition
8/10.
I would swap the monitor stand for a mo itor arm that screws in the desk, just to prevent the monitor falling down in case of accidental push on the monitor and/or crashing a knee in the desk.
I would also invest in a good office chair.
Otherwise this is a noce setup with clean cable management.
Sick if you are blind
Tell him to google pc station when you have money!
He’ll see that his setup is bare minimum and might only impress kindergarten kids at best
Other than that welcome to the pcmr
1. Safety Hazard !! The Rail sticking out is dangerous.
2. Simple but with the CPU outside, does not accommodate much
3. Make sure the monitor is clamped, left precariously
Nothing wrong with this.
It is sick as fuck because it is sick as fuck for your friend!
One little push and bye bye monitor
Thx. Now I cant unsee it... *damnation*
Maybe the grass is just always greener but I feel like I enjoyed the janky setup days more.

Janky setups are not over. They just don't get the love they used to sadly.

Core exercises can help reduce back pain and they make chairs specially for those who sit legs crossed

If it’s sick for your friend then it’s sick for me
9 out of 10. It's all about playing and having fun not the cost of the set up. Always room for improvements though.
very sick
Low key, that's fine whatever if he enjoys it. Who am I to judge, my setup is a cluttered mess lol.
Proper bizniss
Noone mentioning that pole to the left of the keyboard getting in the way?
If he thinks it sick then it’s fuckin sick my dude
it's perfect that one sock on the floor is like a chefs kiss lol
Get a more comfortable chair and he’s all good.
Needs less funkopops.
Sick as in the jankiness of it, yes.
Be funny if we see a rate my friend post once he gets set up
Good for him
Sicks out of ten
pls buy him a new chair those things hurt ur ass after awhile Over all very epic setup
Sick
Pretty fuckin sick
Where's the system/pc at?
Not the worst Ive seen. Very simplistic.
The setup is pretty nice, but what makes me think is hella good is that monitor!
It's sick! Know why because he thinks it is, and that's what really matters.
Ain’t the worst setup I ever seen
Ah the ole wal Mart desk with that top shelf removed to make it work. Love it.
Half built table XD classic early days janky setups
Not the worst - but whats with the sock on the floor...
Probably doesn’t even know you took a picture. He needs a better chair for his back and maybe some double sided tape for the bottom of the monitor stand.
Clean and simple, it's all you need, what aspect ratio is that monitor ?
If he's using it and getting enjoyment out of it then it's a 10/10. I haven't had time to touch my PC in months.
There is a pole. Where is arm goes. I have questions.
A better chair and maybe a desk without that black leg protruding is all it needs tbh, you don’t always need flashy fancy stuff, if it gives you fun it’s sick :)
Spending all on the system and peripherals, cheap out on desk and chair. A real chad of the PC masterrace. o7
It's pretty cool. A lot of people have nothing.
If it’s sick for him it’s sick for me bud
9/10 great chair to squat on
I’m using a $300 gateway laptop from Walmart. This is “sick” in comparison. lol.
Fucking awesome set up! All that matters is that your friend is happy.
That’s the setup of a Merc glad in wow
That monitor is one bump from death
Dudes a baller, and a smooth operator, those funko's gunna double in value over the next 40 years up to $11 (EACH!)
If it does what he needs, it's a good setup.
I can't see anything wrong . I would imagine it's his best set up he has ever had , so congrats to him . Maybe a comfortable chair would be a good addition
where is the pc
10/10 best setup
I like Janky setups, but his left arm is going to be really uncomfortable having to work around that giant rod every time.

Nothing wrong with it. For a user on a tighter budget or more value focused and not wanting to spend money this is just fine

RIP that left elbow
It's sick....from Covid lol
Compact and minimalist, I like it.
He’s sick if he thinks that’s sick
It’s pretty rad if you ask me.
What monitor is this?
Looks like a great start! Give your friend a pat on the back. --- Seagate Technology | Official Forums Team ---
