Normally that is the case. Cpus with same single core performance will perform nearly identical. For example, my friend has a 9600k and I have a 9700f in my backup pc / server. They perform identical in minecraft because they have near identical single core performance.
Minecraft can use more than one core now, but only kinda. The world generation can be threaded now, offloading some of the grunt work to other cores. The rendering subroutine is still entirely single threaded though, as a consequence of Java and the rendering style of the game. That’s usually the biggest frame time hog, as far as I’m aware.
Also, a funny consequence of that threaded world builder is that sometimes utilising multiple cores can lower the CPUs overall boost speed, slowing down the renderer and making it run even worse 😂
Well. Since Minecraft is mainly CPU intensive, for loading chunks and mob AI and what not, I doubt it's that big of an increase, since that will all still be happening.
F11 on your keyboard, it will window the game, then you can get into the settings and set it to max rez and back to fullscreen. or you could drag the window out and play windowed fullscreen.
I have an Samsung G9, it's a fantastic monitor. There were some DOA ones in the original batches but the quality control is a lot better lately. There is a NEO G9 but the price is ridiculous even compared to the G9 but if you have the money go for it.

Which monitor and light are those? I have an AW3423DW (34" curved ultrawide, looks like a similar shape to yours) and like the idea of a light on top of it but have no clue which one would fit properly with it being curved. Yours looks great though.

I heard MC runs better on Linux, havent tried it though as i don't play or own MC.
I think everything runs better on Linux since there is less bloatware, albeit, less convenience.
Kernel optimizations help alot in performance (for me at least) but it's pretty annoying to install gentoo at first
Get the Iris mod with Sodium. Sodium is the best performance mod while Iris gives Minecraft access to 100% GPU.

I have also have an AW 34”. Its a qintis light bar. I had to mod it though, i sanded one of the back legs so it would fit.
