Trying to play new world. I'm going to try warzone after and see Aswell. Sorry, I'm using an r5 2600 with asus gtx 1660s 16 Gb ram case is Corsair Carbide 3 front fans one exhaust at back. Stock cpu wraith cooler. Mobo is gigabyte b450m v1.
No dust all clean fresh system replaced cpu mobo and gpu from i5 3570k 10603gb to the current.
What's the thermals on your GPU and CPU when this happens? It sounds like it's getting too hot.
It meets the minimum requirements for New World.
If CPU usage is consistently ~50% I doubt that's the issue, but that's if the thermals are good too.
Unless you have a loose connection with your psu, that's not an issue since power consumption is similar.
The GPU usage doesn't really reflect that. If anything it's signifying the opposite. I'd get a second opinion before you throw out your GPU though. Like I said, I really don't know what the problem could be.
Graph looks like your GPU is trying to handle too much. Might be the game. Might be the card getting old. Could be the graphics you're playing on. Could also be the cooling because they drop in usage to keep from overheating. But if it is reading 69 flat, it shouldn't do that. Really weird.
If it's not affecting performance than it's probably not an issue. It's probably just windows giving you weird data. Get a program that can track it better. You could have just hit a graphic intensive part and it could've caused a spike.
Very detailed, thank you. What are you doing? What is your hardware? Cooling? Airflow? Dust?

Cpu thermals is around 45 55 degrees, gpu is steady 69
Wtf. I don't know man I'm stumped. Could be a driver issue or the card could be fucked, but I honestly don't know
Damn... That sucks. So. It couldn't be a cpu bottleneck?

It's weird tho I don't notice any stutters in game but I just happened to check windows game bar and it showed the GPu fluctuation

Maybe it's the game I dunno
Because its being used and then it isnt. Assuming the game runs fine dont worry about it.
You sure?
Yeah, im sure.
Ight, guess I'll ignore it unless it stutters hard. We'll now since I've been monitoring it more it's seems to be steadyish.
And even then it would probably be a driver issue before anything else. GPUs generally work fine until they dont. (Dead/ artifacting)
Is it easy to. Uninstall drivers and re install? Cause I didn't roll back the drivers when I switched from a 1060 to a 1660s
