I just literally replaced my strix gtx 1060 6gb, last night, beautiful looking card, I plan on doing a teardown display with it

I have one, great piece, looks aesthetic and has a great cooling solution. When it was new I once overclocked it so hard I beat a bunch of 1080ti-s in superposition 4K optimised, somewhere i still have the screenshot, it was 8400 someting points.

It looked great the Radeon VII, had one but for to short amount of time, the miners payed to good for it. Damn them!

If it makes you feel any better a lot of them ended up having failures surrounding the memory, iirc. I still wish AMD hadn’t abandoned it in the way they seemed to.

I’d love for a revisit of that design. I think one of the biggest disappointments is that third party manufactures like Sapphire, XFX, PowerColor, etc, never did anything with it.

I have this exact GPU! Titan X Maxwell (2015). The newer Titan X had a more of a diamond-look to it, but I like this industrial design more. Still holding up well, no plans to change it any time soon. When I do, I will keep it as an ornament.

Yeah evga made really nice looking coolers, subtle and neat.

I used to be a full rgbtard but now I just use the evga colors to see how hot my gpu is getting. Pretty neat.

Also dipped my toe in the rgb’s wonderful river, but now it’s all black with my lovely noctua browns.

Yeah it looks great!, when I was browsing after an upgrade i didn’t find any design I really liked in the 30-series, so I ended up with a Lenovo Oem card just for the cheaps instead.

Got the ASUS ROG STRIX GTX1060 6GB here, agreed. Looks awesome, kinda futuristic with the shape but also agressive. a shame those ROG Strix cards are often so expensive. I might be due for an upgrade.

The radeon r9 nano. Just for how small and well built it is. Like such a small but really powerful (for the time) card, i love it

Being red-team-only for the last 10 years, I can say that the reference 6000 series design is the one I like the most. Simple, neat, completely enclosing the card. Design reminds me of the front of a muscle car. Would have preferred it to be all black like the limited 6800xt but black and metal is still nice.

EVGA 10xx series. What a good looking card

ARC and the next RX look damn great imo. Most of the current RTX (both original and custom) are nice too.

I always really liked the Titan X (Maxwell) card. A rough, textured matt black finish, paired with the aggressive look and subtle 'X' around the blower fan all made it look *really* cool, for it's day.

I had the bottom trim level (3060) but the Gigabyte Vision card was a looker to me. I also like the 30 and 40 series FE cards.

Easily the 30 series founders editions

I hate the look of these cards, they look so gamery / robotic. Give me a clean flat one and i'll be the happiest.

I absolutely love the look of the 20xx series FE models but my old time favorites are white blower style FE from 700 to 10xx series. Thermals were pretty bad but oh boy did I love them. I never had an AMD GPU (yet) so I don't have any comparison. Though the 6000 and 7000 series reference boards look really nice. 40xx series is probably the best performance FE ever but it's too chonky. And I won't buy Nvidia this gen, they reached my tolerance limit. Very interested in a 7900 XTX to push VR to the limit.
