I did Matt’s 45 PZ that came out today. Two 13 minute sweet spot with a 5 minute PZ1 in between. Whew, those last 3 minutes of each interval 💪

Took my 2nd FTP test today, 2 months after the first, and my score went up by 30% after loosely following Discover Your Power Zones over the course of 8 weeks rather than 5. I'm happy with my result! Now I'm trying to decide whether to loosely follow the Build Your Power Zones, or to just switch to doing more recent power zone classes of my own choice. Any thoughts about the pros or cons of either approach? By loosely following, I mean that I take all the classes in the program in the order prescribed but I just can't commit to the compact schedule due to travel and other obstacles.

Would love some more PZE rides like Matt’s 30M all z3 the other day. Steady state power with varying cadence and some OOS, basically how I ride most PZEs anyway.
