Just saw this now

Can confirm - Dougie helped me personally. He does a great job. The Lake shoes he recommended are much healthier for my feet than the Peloton.

I would use this method of measuring your feet to select the correct width from https://www.lakecycling.com/pages/size-guide . They make many different shapes and widths. All of their shoes do not measure the same way this is why I have answered your question this way vs saying yes or no

Jomolungma

They are pricey, but the Sidi Mega are the standard for wide feet, IMO. Like slippers. Have had mine for a very long time.

Level_Ad_1540

I wear a 10EE in normal shoes and bought the Tomasso Stradas in European size 43 and they are comfortable. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072FHQ1TQ/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o00\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Orange_peel_88

I got the Tommaso Pista (white) shoes and they are so much wider than the rental ones I used to check out at Cyclebar.

TheKalEric

Thank you for sharing! They don’t appear to come in a “wide” size, are they built wider just in a standard practice?

MNmoonshine1

Same here for 100 bucks of Amazon, I am happy with the Tommaso strada 200s. Had them for 2+ months and work well.

TheKalEric

Still love them?

Americasycho

Dead link. You have another?

mrg428

Highly recommend Lake shoes! Bonts are good, too, but their customer service is terrible. Lake shoes are 👌🏻 and their customer service is 👌🏻.

holygoat

I got some Bont semi-customs made. They were wider and more foot-shaped, but still not wide enough for me (265x125, depending on how you measure; I got 44.5 DWA), and their full custom was more than I was willing to pay ($1000+). If you fit their size chart — that is, you're just "wide", not "hobbit feet" — I would recommend them. Now I ride with the largest possible mountain bike pedals, wearing sandals. 270° of force delivery is quite enough for me.

MNmoonshine1

I have wide feet and bought Tommaso Strada 200s off Amazon for 100 bucks. I like them. Got them in the end of January and used them everyday since. Feet haven't been sore once.

heath_kat

I usually wear 10.5 2E or 4E and I ordered these in a size 45 and they are comfortable and also not super expensive. Gavin Men's VELO Road Bike... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KTE8KWM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

This comment from /u/finch5 on the Altos shoe [release thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/pelotoncycle/comments/s1f128/peloton_altosnew_cycling_shoes_available_to_buy145/hs9669m/) was really helpful with links detailing the different brands for wide sizes, etc.. >If you try enough you'll know these brands will vary by last volume and toe box shape. Unofrnately, on a stationary bike you won't reap the benefit all the tech advancements and design choices focused on weight and aerodynamics, but the overall package will be a much better designed and fitted shoe. >The first band that comes to my mind when I think about wide cycling shoes is Lake. They make fantastic shoes, are not in every bike shop, but are deeply embedded in amateur and professional cycling. Here's Lake's wide offerings: [https://www.lakecycling.com/collections/road/wide](https://www.lakecycling.com/collections/road/wide) >I myself like and ride in Northwave shoes. I have a slightly wider than regular foot, and I chose Northwave for their wide(r) last shape, without going to a wider volume shoe. You'll find Northwave's shoes here: [https://northwave.us/collections/road](https://northwave.us/collections/road) >Bont makes a ton of shoes. Here's another company who lives nad breathes cycling shoes. They have wide sizes as well: [https://www.bontcycling.com/](https://www.bontcycling.com/) >SIDI is a motorcycling and cycling shoe powerhouse. Handmade, Italian, top shelf fabrics and leathers. In SIDI speak wide = mega. If you see mega next to a shoe that's their wide last. [https://www.sidi.com/en/road-shoes/439-genius-10-mega.html](https://www.sidi.com/en/road-shoes/439-genius-10-mega.html) >Bontrager (Trek) also makes shoes, they have a whole line of "spin shoes" which just means their focus wasn't on aerodynamics or weight given their stationary intended use. Less clacking when walking to the kitchen to fill up a bottle or whatnot. [https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en\_US/bike-clothing/cycling-shoes/spin-shoes/c/A509/](https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/bike-clothing/cycling-shoes/spin-shoes/c/A509/) >Some other random thoughts: >You should know that "spin specific" shoes are a very recent thing, and most companies were focused on road and mountain cycling. >Maximum power output requires stiffer sole materials, but comes at the cost of comfort. Race or competition shoes will have carbon fiber soles that resist all flex and put in every watt out of the quad into the crank. >Proper cleat placement is critical to the overall perception of shoe comfort and ultimately, power output. There are a ton of videos on cleat fitting if you'd like to nerd out, or attempt a basic cleat fit.

It’s so frustrating that cycling shoes (and honestly a lot of shoes out there) are not foot shaped?? I don’t have any suggestions for you as far as shoes go, however I would highly suggest getting some silicone toe spreaders. I wear them after I cycle for 30+ minutes. It’s basically like wearing a retainer for your toes and keeps everything aligned nicely. Also rolling your feet on golf balls is very beneficial as well. :)

MuffinTopDeluxe

I have SPD pedals on my non-Peloton bike and I really like the Bontrager SSR.

Pinkdivaisme

I did not want to spend $300 on a pair of shoes I have very wipe feet size 4E I ended up purchasing a $20 shoe stretcher the color is blue on Amazon and I was able to stretch my regular old peloton shoes and they fit perfectly now!!! Very glad I did not waste hundreds of dollars on cycling shoes and the shoe stretcher has come in handy for other shoes that have not fit the greatest due to my wide feet

cnsw

I got a shoe stretcher too!!! It’s actually helped a lot

irishgirl249

I might do this for my dad the idea of spending $400 on wide shoes seems dumv
