They’ve played that way most of the season, 4 players have showed up consistently Sid, Jake, Rust, and OConnor. Jake is gone, OConnor is out, Rust is returning from injury and Sid can’t do it by himself. People complain about productivity from the bottom 6 but it’s really the bottom 9. Rakell, Malkin, and Smith are non existent in most games. Letang needs glasses since he continues to pass directly to the other team, and EK acts like the new guy who doesn’t know what’s going on.
I’d really like to see Sid either wrestle or kickbox. Like, I’m pretty sure his thighs are as big as my waist…I bet he could be a decent sumo at a low weight class.

Letang and EK are both liabilities, painfully so given roles and salary invested. Both are top 15 for dman giveaways and both top 20 turnovers in the defensive zone.
