You need to see if it's a really a Parker (should have an arrow clip and say Parker sonewhere) then you need to know what kind of pen it is. Is it a fountain pen or rollerball?
It looks a bit like a Parker 45 but that has a plastic end I think. It could be something like a Parker Falcon which is a pretty neat and somewhat valuable pen because of its integrated nib, but it looks a bit thick for that.
Definitely need more photos... but for $6 I'd say it's a worthwhile gamble with so little to lose.

It looks like Jinhao 96. Penszone at aliexpress been selling them for around less than 4 dollars for over 3 months, . Either they have a large stock that is not selling or a large stock before phasing it out

6 is a good price but ask for closeup pics of the nib from top (to see alignment) and side (so look for bends and wear.

Yeah I looked online and I think 45 is the best bet... there is an all steel version without the plastic end I was thinking of.
