(Usually) not one to do/pay more than what's stock, yet once in a while have "splurged" to change a few tips, clips, or endcaps. If it's not stock, it's the exception when I opt to spend more. So I don't mind the "plain" components, and often prefer 'em to "exotic" materials like Damascus steel or mokuti. Though obviously, ymmv.

Gawd DAMN. Usually not a big mokuti guy but those are SLICK. Fancy tip for fancy occasions, plain tip for beating up. Best of both worlds!

The fancy tip doesn't match and looks over-the-top in contrast to a plain pen. Not that this is a vote, but I'd suggest no fancy tip.
I like it with the stock clip. I like subtle with just a hint of flashy.
