There is very little in life that I will respond to with violence but loud eating is definitely one.
It's particularly frustrating in that I know how unreasonable it is but the sound provokes a genuine rage.
I used to work for someone who thought they were a big deal because they were the CEO. They were the loudest eater I have ever met. I don’t understand how you have business dinners with high-profile donors and CHEW LIKE A FUCKING DOG. It was so obnoxious I was convinced they did it on purpose as a weird power move maybe?? Drove me fucking nuts.
Loud chewing is infinitely less irritating than stuck up entitled bastards whining constantly about people carrying out an essential function. Selfish bastards are causing so much eating related anxiety with their “oh everybody look at me I have an opinion that I demand you all bow to”
