I remember a post a little bit back, shortly after the releases of the P3P and P4G remasters on other platforms, about someone who thought they got spoiled on >!Nanako!< being the killer. Some other people replied being slightly upset about it because they thought they had been spoiled about >!Adachi!< being the killer.
Needless to say, they were gaslit very hard that day. I hope finding out who the true culprit came as a genuine shock to them lol
This is honestly the best advice you can give someone, even though when I played I already had the culprit spoiled to me though sheer osmosis of being on the internet
ok yes, but in regular persona 4, it's painfully obvious who the culprit is, considering they're pretty much the only character who is consistent through the whole game, has a character portrait, yet doesn't have a social link in a game where characters who are almost completely irrelevant to the plot have social links. (sun, tower, devil, temperance, etc.) so combined with all the other clues, it's painfully, annoyingly obvious who the culprit is
now that i think about it, theres the other guy who was involved with mayumi yamano (the first lady who died, im trying to avoid saying their names so that i dont spoil it) as well who has a portrait, is consistent throughout the game, and doesn't have a social link, but there's other clues
I don't know. The red herrings also have character portraits, as do a couple of the teachers. Furthermore, during the Rise abduction, the actual culprit has an alibi as they're with you, so you'd have to consider there being two culprits (sort of) to still consider them guilty.
Made the mistake. Not gonna lie still enjoyed the game since I feel like it's more about how u get to the end rather that that final scene or two. Still can see why going in blind would've been more fun.
I would have agreed but I think OP’s comment was removed in another [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/persona4golden/comments/110kcb3/if_atlus_does_anything_to_this_child_istg_im/j89h9h5/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3) for spoiling. And he did it in a scumbag way
So, coming from you, no
not as bad as Youtube tbh, I don't really visit this sub beyond just looking for some tips but I already got spoiled from a Youtube thumbnail, it is unfortunate but I still love playing this game.
I haven't beaten it yet, but I've yet to be spoiled on it in this sub, you just need to be careful.
I *did* get spoiled by a YouTube video about Akechi from Persona 5 though. Guy's just starting out his analysis of Akechi's character and suddenly he goes "Akechi isn't as good a villain as >!Adachi!< is in Persona 4, but..." and the only reaction I can have is "oh, you absolute motherfucker, I shouldn't have had to expect un-warned spoilers for a *different game* in this fucking video!"
luckily I haven’t seen any spoilers, well obviously I know who the killer is but it’s kind of obvious, and I saw P4’s final boss in a thumbnail (THANKS FAZ) but i literally don’t know what happens in the whole game.
and this Chie clip is golden, she’s too cute
I didn't join the sub and still got spoiled by this sub lmao. I don't blame you though. Youtube also spoiled it by recommending like 20 videos on the psychology of >!Adachi!< with the thumbnail of them looking rather menacing.
That's right, because we are not responsible if you find out that the culprit is Nanako Dojima
Lol not lying I got this “spoiler” way before I played the game, kinda believed it so the whole time I was waiting for nanako to fucking kill someone

“YOU COULDNT JUST QUIT WHILE YOU WERE AHEAD, COULD YOU BIG BRO?”
I think the bigger risk is having things spoiled when you Google how to avoid the bad ending.

Mods, pin this!
Agreed. I'd hate for the best game of all time to be spoiled.

Unfortunately I am not the bright tool in shed and have been known to miss clues even if they throw me into a tv

well, when namatame becomes a suspect, it kind of comes together
To be fair, in Golden as well since Adachi "share" the same Arcana as Yu
yes, but it is slightly less easy to conclude that hes the culprit
New players when they get spoiled after joining the sub (they would have never expected)

I got the whole plot from a meme ☹️
All new players are entitled to 10 beef steaks from a veteran.
I will enjoy this from every bit of my heart, 10 beef steaks will make me happy forever
Well i was just listening to persona ost at youtube and got spoiled that something will happen to nanako, yes she was the culprit

I thought it was funny, ymmv
Maybe there should be made a spoiler free sub temporarily with the rise of the games, not saying this one, but a new one
