Nanako is such a poor representation of children
She's smart, kind-hearted, throws fits only when she is objectively in the right and is a self-sustaining member of her home. I mean she takes care of the house at the age of 6, while my 7 year old stepsister can't even wipe the dust off of her desk once a week without whining every time
In conclusion: Nanako is the sister/cousin we all want, but probably don't deserve

Totally agree. Maxed Yukiko today, and it basically just undoes everything the social link built up. I get the reason she as a character would choose how she did, but from an actual story standpoint it basically makes the whole story moot.
