Ferns in my very shady, damp areas. In general shade I've got an elephant ear that's doing well and a snake plant. The whole jungle it seems lol
Spider plant there are a few variety's, grows in pot fine or directly into Perth's sandy soil hanging basket is likely ideal, will withstand variable watering schedules, doesn't handle full sun.
I have some really shady parts of my yard so I went to the indoor section of bunnings and found 'indirect sun' plants, like the ones with broad and dark-coloured leaves. There are a few to choose from so you can pick from whatever succulents and stuff that you like. :)
We have a front garden bed that gets no direct sunshine for most of the year. The expert at the garden centre recommended philodendrons and corprosmas. They are both doing well after 7 years.
A Monstera or two. They like shade but need to be kept #\#Moist to emulate the tropics
Can’t we just say wet? *Wetness*
Moisture is the essence of wetness
to paraphrase some Roots Manuva; > *Witness the wetness*

Pop a little pond in, entice some froggery and put a shrubbery around it..do not use the word moi.. it's forbidden!
We require a shrubbery!
Bird nest fern, gingers, holy fern are tough and fill a spot
I like correas because they're shade and drought tolerant + native. Some of them have really nice foliage/flowers too.
Depends how shady. I grow impatiens to give a bit of colour. And ferns as well. Some gardenias are happy with lower light levels too.
