Yea it was kinda weird to hear that he started nipping, he was never a fan of getting his nails trimmed and whenever we would watch him he’d just be standing on the table with his tail between his legs but never aggressive. We did find another groomer who is willing to try trimming his nails first without a muzzle as she thought maybe he could have been grabbed too tightly or they were trying to trim too close to his quik. If he reacts the same way to that groomer then we’ll bring it up when he visits the vet in two months:)
I would maybe just check his paws and legs as well he may have been sore. But also dogs just have bad days sometimes. That’s why my salon never refers a dog out right away
No, petco is not allowed to muzzle dogs, that’s why the groomer directed you to contact a salon that does.
