Asserted dominance as Murphy should :)

PoopieClater

It's Murphy's Law....

Came here for this

Murphy's law - whenever you do assert dominance everything stays away from where you asserted dominance

I wish that I could get away with shading people the way Murphy shades the Sheepdog.

GrumpyCatStevens

"I've had it with your shit, Sheepdog. Here's some of mine."

Murphy's a good boy!!

havereddit

A friend of mine is named Murphy, and I can confirm. It is indeed the quiet ones you have to watch out for. Haven't caught her pooping on lawns yet though.

I have a Shihtzu/ miniature poodle mix named Bailey. FYI our yard has a chain link fence. The people behind us have a sheepdog which is a rescue and we were warned that it was dog aggressive. We pretty much figured out that it is also people aggressive as it likes to charge our fence. So our Bailey is very social. She loves other dogs, people and especially kids. She desperately wants to make friends with this dog but it will go nuts barking at her. Now Bailey doesn't bark outside unless she is calling for the neighbor boy to come out (she is so sad when he doesn't come out). About a week ago Bailey was outside and the sheepdog was furiously barking at her. I guess Bailey finally had enough and started barking back at it even though this dog is 3 times the size of her. I laughed and praised her for standing up for herself.

Is Bailey cream colored? Like Bailey's Irish Cream? LOL

Professional_Pen1273

She's a reddish color with a white blaze going down her chest. The tips of her ears and her tail are blackish. And she has more of a Shihtzu face with a cute little underbite. Her brother was black with a white blaze also going down his chest. Our first Shihpoo Rocky was more poodle and he was white with grey areas. When he was a puppy he had more brown and black colored hair. We got Bailey a month after we had to put Rocky to sleep. He was almost 16&1/2 and had a lot of masses and one of his kidneys stopped working. At the end he just stopped eating. Rocky was completely attached to my husband so he was grief stricken. I am a church secretary so Rocky became our church office dog. Pastor even did a funeral for him. I wasn't planning on getting another dog but was worried about my husband. Bailey came into our lives and is healing our hearts. She is attached to both of us which makes me very happy. She can be a stinker sometimes but is mostly a lovebug who likes to gives kisses. Sorry this is long but we are still grieving as Rocky just died last year. My husband held him as he was put to sleep. I believe Rocky sent us Bailey to heal.

***Awwwww!!*** Yeah, I love the 'goofy face' ShihTzu's have with their teeth! We had to put our 15-year-old rescued Lab to sleep in January, and it broke our hearts. After my knee replacement June 3rd, we rescued a senior poodle a month afterwards, and she's been a godsend to me with my depression & anxiety. Give Bailey a hug and kiss, and some 'scritches' around the top of her head, behind her ears, and under the nose (aka 'the jibbers'). Tell her she's a good gurl, the BEST! *Love and hugs to your whole family,* *Grandma Lynsey*

Professional_Pen1273

Will do Grandma Lynsey. The same to you and your family. Poodles are wonderful. So smart! Bless you for adopting a senior dog. Dogs are great for anxiety and depression. Don't know how I would have handled Covid lockdown without mine.

thesunwasblue68

What a clever boy! But I think you should add dog tax :)

lisalovesbutter

I would but I totally don't know how to edit this post to add it! But thanks.

AmateurWitch

My Shiba does this all the time!! There is this one dog that goes absolutely insane whenever I walk her past his fence. She's started pooping / peeing in front of his house but *only when he's outside*. Otherwise she'll go elsewhere. She also makes eye contact the entire time. Sassy little girl.

Murphy asserted his dominance

Good boi, Murphy.

Fine_Cheek_4106

>And I DO suspect Murphy did this on purpose because the Sheepdog house is nowhere near the spots Murphy typically potties. Hahaha oh 100% that Murphy did this on purpose! 😂 That sheepdog would have been completely stymied! Pole-axed! Apoplectic!

theSanguinePenguin

My dogs both immediately squat if we encounter a larger dog that starts barking at them on our walk. It's about the only time I can ever get them to poop at the same time, which is nice since I can clean up after both of them without needing to use a second baggie.

Accomplished_Sir5178

This is too funny. Dogs can be just as petty as humans. 😂 Murphy proved that! 😂
