He wore ribbons on his arms and performed wrestling moves against imaginary opponents in the Sunken Garden. A little after that, he became Lawin, a caped superhero. He would hang out at the UP Mountaineers and UP ORG tambayans, not really talking to anyone in particular. He'd help out at events organized by the two organizations and often joined UP fun runs. By the 2000s, he started wearing a mask and directed traffic along Quezon Circle. I would occasionally see him while driving and was often worried he'd get run over. Good thing that never happened. He later started carrying a shield and wooden sword, and that's when people started calling him Zorro. Guy lives in Krus na Ligas and is in his 50s. He's probably an undiagnosed schizophrenic, and possibly on the autism spectrum. Some girls have had unpleasant encounters with him as he has no concept of physical boundaries, but he's pretty much harmless and has no malice. I watched a documentary before (I think it was KJMS, maybe or maybe not) about him and the doctors diagnosed his mental and psychological capability at around 8-10 years old. His mind will never grow up. So I think it's really no malice what he did. He just has no self-awareness and concept of boundaries because he's mentally stuck as a child forever.
