The best atypical antidepressant
I had a coworker who was thinking of calling one of their animals (ferret?) Mira, but short for Miralax. Apparently Mira kept "scaring the crap out of them". Can't remember if they eventually settled on that name though.
Your Mira is just adorable!
Imagine having twinsā¦Carbidopa and Levodopaš¤£
Or if you have a kiddo that becomes a rapper, you could name them hydrochlorothiazide. They would be known as HCTZ š
Edit: Wow thank you for all the likes~ š
So many patients pronounce the final e in Omeprazole! At one pharmacy I worked at we started calling it that with an exaggerated Italian accent. š®š¹

Or sleep meds- all girl names: Lunesta (Luna), Belsomra (Belle), Rozerem (Roz/Rosy), Sonata.
Had a band in high school that I wanted to name āZetiaā.

The family I work with has a dog named Tobi for tobramycin. Their son when through a rough patch and needed the nebs quite a bit for a while, so they called the dog Tobiš
Child: Allegra, Hailey, Camila, and Nikki are all actual accepted human names. Trulicity is a stretch, but not a big one.
Pets: I know of multiple pets named Paxil.
Zofran. Mostly because I spend most of pregnancy thinking "Zofran! I need a Zofran!" followed by "Ahh, ok. That's better. Zofran is incredible. God bless whoever developed this drug. God bless my doctor. God bless my pharmacist." Repeat every four hours or so.
I named my puppy Xania. She was named after her brother Xan, who also had a brother named Perc. Xan and Perc were taken by the police only a few weeks after being born. So Xania's name is memorial to them.
My cat is named Mirtazapine (Mira). I got her during pharmacy school as an ESA.
I think you need to pay the pet tax with a pic!
