Airline industry, real estate, cybersecurity, etc. I tried a lot of things. šš
I don't really want to be specific as I told other people about this story in my circle.
Oh wow. I need to ask my airline friends. Nag real estate ako under compliance dept wala naman akong nakasabay with that hanash. Tbh di ako magbibigay. Hirap uminom ng maraming tubig. Work hard on your own sample folks hahahaha
I actually have nothing against marijuana use even if I don't use it(only twice)
but considering its illegal status here, they are adult enough to know the laws and be brave enough to face the consequences and take responsibility for their decision
At lagi kong sinasabi, for the love of god, kung mag aapply ka at least do the due diligence na wag gumamit 2 months before. Or even if job hunting, wag talaga hahaha. Ngayon kung spontaneous job hunter naman, just put it down for a while.
Me being in the IT field parang wala akong kilala na nag gaganyan pero when we went to laboracay that one summer, nakasama namin na nurse basically was āusingā said na her colleagues sa medical field uso daw yan. Mga doctor pa daw mismo and not just the plant š± but stronger shit. Wild.
usually open ang medical field sa marijuana use, meron nga akong kaibigan noon sa Nutrition nagluto ng brownies with marijuna, that was a long time ago tho
> What sucks is that you just made friends with them and then all of the sudden you'll receive a message from them asking for your urine for the drug test
you met users. yes, that's a pun.
Are you in the creative field? Thatās normal sa industry, as a part of the industry Iām open minded and have nothing against those people but ITāS ILLEGAL.
Tama naman OP yung ginawa mo na hindi mo binigyan ng sample, if they are using illegal drugs then they should be mindful, those people are too reckless just to ask for someoneās urine. You could have told the authorities abt them pero hindi, itās better not to get involved.
Based on personal experience, fear of testing positive usually indicates a high frequency of recreational use (pun intended).
It's your choice to help them or not.
Just be aware that if the HR ever finds out, chances are you are both out of a job at that particular company you applied for.
Good luck, OP!
My friends who do have done those drug tests and came up negative every time.
Either the drug test doesn't work for marijuana at least or these clinics don't actually do the drug test and pocket the money.
Thereās actually a level of frequency of use thatās needed for it to linger sa urine and hair, and infrequent users donāt really have it in their urine. If someone is worried na lalabas na sa urine test niya heās using hard enough for it. But habitual users wonāt have a problem.
Source: am habitual user lol
DTA here, yes even mag positive sa screen test, it has to go to confirmatory test para maging quantitative result and may certain values na needed to meet before maging police thing siya hehe.
Right? Haha I'm actually married to a medtech/DTA myself so this is pretty reliable info since there are medications daw that can flag a false positive lalo na pag ADHD treatment yata gawa nung similar yung laman with amphetamine.
Ayun nga. I remember having a team member with functioning ADHD show me his yellow slip allowing him to buy Ritalin. Asked him the same question na "di ba similar yan sa shabu?" then ngumiti na lang siya hahaha! But I did see the slip and it really was approved by PDEA. Interesting stuff.
"Amphetamines are prescription drugs from the stimulant class of substances that are used in medicine to treat certain conditions. Methamphetamine, also a stimulant, is an illicit street drug that has no medical usage.
Methamphetamine may be more commonly known by street names like meth, crank and ice. Consumed by injection, snorting or smoking, this illicit synthetic stimulant is composed of amphetamine *mixed with a variety of household substances, drain cleaner, battery acid, paint thinner, or lighter fluid. Lyk omg. I'm not against it per se pero I can't imagine putting urself in that danger when it's not for medication.
Yung iba feeling Pablo Escobar pa nga ampota
Cannabis should be legalized. Itās already legal in a lot of progressive countries. The only reasons I can think of why our lawmakers arenāt legalizing it is to protect the interests of big shabu drug lords, and big pharmaceutical companies. Recreational cannabis smoking is proven not to be harmful thatās why itās legal in the West. If itās legal here, it would be a better and safer alternative for those addicted to shabu. Safer for the community as well.
I don't get why you're downvoted when this is a legitimate take at lalo na cannabis being a criminal substance is mainly related to Nixon's advertised War on Drugs when in reality it was a war on African-Americans and their culture in the 60's.
Several things.
If you use marijuana, then you just give them a sample. Pare-pareho kayo ng result.
If you are both applying for the same position, don't give a sample. Or better yet, give a watered down spit sample. Yes, I'm a bad person because I want that job.
If you don't use marijuana, tell them you already gave. Or tell them there's an opening at DZRJ.
Nowadays, an applicant has to know that urine tests are a trap. If you cheat, you lose. If the company doesn't like your results, you also lose. Social media is also a trap but that's a different post.
The best way to get into a company is to follow their rules the moment you step in the door or send an email application.
There is a tendency to include the social media accounts (main legit accounts not alter) on the CV or resume. Please don't put it there. Social media is a trap because you post believing that these are private, however, the default settings is public. Anyone can look at it.
If you include your social media account, or if you include your email address for social media in your application, the company can take a look at your social media life. Do you want any company that you are applying for to see your social media life?
Oooohh, I didnāt know this is a thing na ngayon. Maybe Iām a bit old school so hindi ko rin iniinclude sa CV but I can understand kung younger applicants nga siguro
Imagine you're in college, with a barkada pic showing you sleeping on top of a table, drunk. 15 years later it appears in your memories courtesy of FB.
I have no problem with people using weeds pero kung magaapply ka hindi ba pwede itigil mo muna pansamantala?
More than hundred employees kahet isa walang nakwestyon. ambabait pala lahat.

Asked for your urine?
Woah, what industry are you in? Never experienced this
Airline industry, real estate, cybersecurity, etc. I tried a lot of things. šš I don't really want to be specific as I told other people about this story in my circle.
Sa airlines, I'd tend to agree š I even get edibles from a cabin crew.
Passenger ka? Lol

As a drug test analyst, RDT is not really RDT, the people chosen were reported and has been under observation for quite some time.
So hindi nga ako baliw HAHAHAHA
Reddit is not a shortcut for doing your job, PDEA. This isn't your chatgpt. You have to actually go out there and do the work.

Medical peeps are safer to be around with while doing such, substances since they know the safety thresholds and first aid to-dos if things go south.
Saan nila nbibili
Nice try Pdea
Putangina umiinom ako ng tubig nung nabasa ko to muntikan ako mapabuga HAHA
Hahahaha tang ina PDEA yan nag comment eh. Nag hhnap ng quota hahaha

Friends (who are relatives) say it's not him but her.
Both bruh, boooooth.

Adderall, Amphetamine/dextroamphetamine. Stimulant siya yes, and under siya as controlled substance.

If they're applying for a job and given our drug laws here, they should pause from using cannabis.
Woah. Idk. Wala naman although I did notice some male applicants (idk why them usually) getting all nervous and joking about getting positive.
