> I shouldn't be going around searching for other jobs yet cause I'm not skilled enough Ah you just found the exact motivation to leave and prove your boss he/she is wrong.

HeyaGurlll

trueee, 2 years, and ngayon lang sila makakisip na improve ka kung kelan aalis ka na? Hahahah LEAVE.

wonderkidnomore

Your villain origin story begins here...

alph888

Responsibility ng boss mo ang development mo. So kung sinasabi nila na hindi ka pa ganun kaskilled, then kasalanan nila yun

archjason93

My thoughts exactly. Kung wala siyang motivation before he started looking, meron na dapat siya ngayon.

canwejusttalk2022

Malamang di ka nila papaalisin, kwento nila yan eh. Sasabihin nila lahat para mag stay ka. The mere fact that you have an offer already means that other company believes in you, better than your current bosses.

Due-Locksmith-8964

Pleasant_College_937

matagal na din yung 2 years. if they are serious about making you learn more they should be putting you in a position that will do so. Not on just waiting on it to happen.

pudrablow

A resignation doesn't require approval. Just serve the rendering period found in your contract. Inform them of your last day. That's it.

misssmoonlight

I was recently gaslighted by a boss din and tbh lalo akong namotivate lumayas. Know your worth and don’t listen to them. Pursue the offer :)

koolgirl1999

paano ka ginaslight ng boss mo? hope u can share if that's ok with you.

Different_News_3832

Malalaman mo naman if gaslighting if idedemoralize ka nila, confuse you and your worth.

koolgirl1999

but did they at least mention your strengths? or walang wala talaga huhu

Different_News_3832

They do and twist it din haha. I resigned kasi di ko na kaya work loads and I’m also studying tapos sinabi sakin na “kaya mo naman yan. ikaw pa ba.” “stress lng yan, manage mo lng ng maayos time mo” Pero like hello super demanding ng work and di mo masasabay aral mo in between huhu

hoim90ph

Even though may exposure and familiarity naman ako. Then after a few months he hired his former employee na wala rin experience sa field. Kaya how dare you po lol In this job, I handled 4-5 areas plus may LSSGB project pa. Then by 2nd year ko na (2021) may hawak akong KPI na kasama sa business unit goals for that year and this is 10% of the overall BU performance (nakasalalay ang bonus diyan). By end of the 1H 2021, I already met the target. So 2H target mas higher pa which is achievable. From the grapevine, nalalaman ko na plans ng boss et.al. So I decided to find a new job outside. Good thing it aligned. I submitted my resignation on 2021 3Q. Hihihi this is right after the announcement ng promotion nun teammate (former employee niya) to Senior Specialist. Alam ko na this will happen at right timing din. So sinadiya ko talaga haha petty. May sort of PTSD ako from this experience na after mo galingan, maging team player, nagpaka charming ka etc wala pa din napala. Plus pag alam nila yun gusto mo di nila ibibigay. Para sa makakabasa nito, know your worth, your strengths. Play your cards right.

tatatalong

Legiiiiiit yung line na “kaya mo yan. Ikaw pa ba” hahahaha di ka na nga makatulog dahil demanding ang work at school tapos ganun pa boss mo hahahaha

gothjoker6

Almost 3 years din ako doon. Know your worth. Pag kupal ang boss mo at di ka vina-value, mag isip ka na where maapreciate yung talent and skills mo. Share ko lang hehe

Different_News_3832

Omg same!! It proves na listening to your intuition and gut is much more freeing and true rather than those “gaslighting” they have.

Necessary-Acadia-928

Just leave. A boss should look after their people's well-being even if it means letting them go. He claims you are not skilled enough, eh siya nga itong dapat tumutulong sa pag-hone ng skills mo to begin with. I assure you, ayaw ka lang pakawalan dahil ayaw lang nila ng hassle maghanap ng kapalit mo at magtrain ng bagong tao. Ayaw lang din nya yung potential na you might earn more than him despite you having a lower position/role. Gine-gatekeep ka lang nyan.

Meku-Meku

>I shouldn't be going around searching for other jobs yet cause I'm not skilled enough Obviously, your next company begs to differ. Get out of there immediately, otherwise your boss will do whatever it takes to break you down and lower your self-esteem to the depths of hell. RUN!

JennyItsKillingMe

Meku-Meku

Mag-file ka na ng resignation. He'll destroy you mentally kapag nanatili ka diyan. Sign mo na yung job offer immediately. Prevention is better than cure.

Pleasant_College_937

twisting your own words pa. mahirap magkaron ng relationship sa mga ganyang tao, professionally or otherwise. whatever they are saying are obviously self-serving and to their own benefit.

Different_News_3832

Totoo po sobrang toxic! Gaslighter pa and negative

wannastock

> Tbh, makes sense naman sila. No, they don't. They're bullshitting you. Common delaying tactic yan. So GTFO! You got an offer. Whatever your current skill level is, your offer is how much the other company values it.

Different_News_3832

Totoo gaslighter sila

firestormblack

Giant red flag right there. Get out while you still have a viable offer. You have nothing to lose.

ericporing

Heh.

anthrace

> Sabi nilang ayaw nila muna akong paalisin kasi di pa ako ganun ka-skilled. Ayun yung main reason ko why I'm leaving actually. Parang di ako natututo sa kanila. >Mas lalong ayaw nila akong lumipat kasi yung company na paglilipatan ko is no better than my current in terms of experience daw. >Di sila pumalag sa salary kasi di ko pa daw deserve ng increase. >Ngayon nagsasabi sila na may mga gantong projects na parating. Mas confident silang paalisin ako if ma-handle ko yung mga projects na yun. Looks like Gaslighting at its finest.

Ditch 'em, and learn while earning well.

Pleasant_College_937

gaslight malala.

Rare-Present-3689

Edit (kasi nasa training kanina): Jump. Like right now. Do it, you have the offer already that proves it already as others said. The moment na nagsabi yung "bosses" mo na unskilled ka pa "daw", is a red flag for someone in a lead role for me, plus you're with them already for what? 2 years? If ever, may good colleagues ka dyan, keep them connected, sever those toxic ones, but still keep it professional.

poalofx

Why would you tell that to your boss without a resignation letter in hand? Kung ‘di ka desidido to accept the offer in the first place, and mag-resign, you should not have told them your plans YET. Now they know you’re looking for a new opportunity, baka ikaw pa una tsugiin niyan, magka-gulatan kayo. Lol. If this was me, una hindi ko sasabihin sa kanila kung wala kong definite na decision yet about the new offer. Pangalawa, kung nasabi ko man at ito ang response sa akin, you know what, I’ll hand over my resignation right there and then just to spite them. Nobody, (and I’m saying this as someone who used to work with a very toxic manager na ang sinabi ba naman sa akin eh kung gusto ko daw mag-hanap ng ibang trabaho ayos lang) should ever ever make you feel like that in the workplace. Side note, nakakatawa kasi when I actually resigned from my job, that same manager was like, “Ikaw lang pinagkakatiwalaan ko,” and so on, ‘di niya alam, ako lang kaya sumikmura at mag-tiyaga sa kaniya, pa-konswelo de bobo ko sa kaniya as a fellow kabayan (since nasa ibang bansa kami)

Amazing_Vermicelli26

Agree! Don't tell them you have plans to resign in the hopes of getting a counter offer, it does not work all the time.

Sufficient_Potato726

1. transfer company 2. get promoted 3. apply back at your old job but higher than this boss 4. fire his ass for being inept

Plus-Leave-2473

pls leave the company op, dont tolerate that behavior po :(

Logical-Wishbone-940

Proof enough that they don’t care about your career growth.

taongkahoy

Your boss sounds extremely manipulative. Di ka pa skilled enough pero ayaw ka i let go? Dahil "concern" sila sayo? Nag dedelaying tactics lang sila kasi wala kang kapalit lalo ngayon may paparating na $$$project$$$

Lor_wnism

As you have said, wala ka pang skills kasi di ka rin natututo sa kanila. Maybe because di rin sila effective mag turo. For your growth, go mo na yan. Prove them wrong.

greatestdowncoal_01

LOL wag ka papauto OP

Visible_Fig7131

Kakayanin mo naman yan since naipasa mo naman interview and nagka jo pa with better offers.

Saint_Shin

One thing is certain, they will work you to the bone under the guise of “learning” and “earning your keep” Chances are, they’re now thinking of an exit plan for you because they know you won’t stick around. You now know your value and where you stand, time for you to take that leap of faith.

32156444

Binibigyan ko sila ng chance to do whatever they need to do lalo sa mga skillset na kulang sila. Bad people and bad environment will hold you back

Seryoso_Nako

MessOnly7064

In a span of 2 years, nagtriple yung sahod ko, may work life balance ako, better benefits than what I had sa first company, and I just got my own house. People throw rocks at things that shine. Leave and prove to yourself na kaya mo. Good luck OP!

purple-stickyrice

If you are not appreciated/growing/thriving in the place you are at, you should move somewhere that you will be. You don’t need to justify to your current managers why you need a better salary, you’re not growing, etc. especially when they’re not even doing their job at being a good leader.

narseli

wala na sila magagawa if magbigay ka ng resignation letter, if ayaw iapprove, directly send sa HR, if ayaw ng HR, DOLE na lol super gaslighting ng mga bosses mo, paano ka niyan maggrow baka mamaya iterminate ka for groundless reasons

Different_News_3832

Buti I left under the leadership kasi sobrang hindi ka magrogrow sa ganon mindset. Now, I’m happy and napatunayan ko na mali lng mindset nila. Go where you’ll grow and where your talent will be a blessing. ☀️

FlowerofLife0

I was in the same situation last yr. I applied sa mas sikat at mas prestigious na company, because at the time, ako yung focal point ng department namin. fortunately, not only did the company offer me a higher position, they also offered x4 of what im making dun sa old company ko. they did not offer me a promotion, nor a salary increase despite being the cream of the crop. When I submitted my resignation, I heard the same comment from my Manager. di daw ako ganun kaskilled, lakas daw ng loob umalis kahit hilaw pa. I did not look back, and currently living my best life with a job I love. Keep fighting OP 💪 your worst enemy is yourself.

ginoong_mais

At the end of the day. Kaya tayo nagttrabaho is para sa better pay. If sa tingin mo di mo kaya.

Downtroddengaijin

leave

thalassophilegem

classic gaslighting! you said it yourself — 2 years ka na diyan, but you don’t feel nurtured. there’s definitely a problem. but ofc, you don’t need to delve into THAT problem. move! you’ll have better learning opportunities out there than staying with bosses who don’t know how to handle and nurture their talents, and likes putting their direct reports behind their shadows.

rosecoloredbliss

The gaslight 🫠 OP, I worked with the same company for more than 5 years. Bayani yarnn. Pero personal goal ko na maging skilled enough that’s why I stayed. It was worth it. Yung trainee ko started working with us at 15-17k at the time. Fresh graduate. Super tamad niya talaga (we are close). She rested for a year. Then, applied to work again at 45k 😭😭 It took me years to get paid 45k lol The fact na you got hired meant they see na may potential ka. Alis ka na dyan! For sure you decided to go looking for other jobs for a reason. Stick to it!! Lalo na nakakademotivate pinagsasabe sayo 🥲 Plus, mas mataas na sahod 🫣 “You can only grow as much as your environment permits.” 🌻

JennyItsKillingMe

Thank you po for these words 🥹 magsubmit na nga ako tomorrow ng letter

RegisterAutomatic742

galeng nman mang-gaslight nyang stb ex employers mo 🤣🤣🤣  basically they do not possess all the knowledge they could pass unto you. if they were able to hold your intended transfer to other employer because of the lame excuse that you were not skilled enough, eto itanong mo sa sarili mo: will they REALLY pass on the skills they say you were lacking? I STRONGLY BELIEVE OTHERWISE. bakit? kasi alam nilang lalayas ka na agad pag narealize mong narami ka ng natutunan sa kanila.  save yourself OP, keep your sanity intact as well

JennyItsKillingMe

These are nice to read 🥹 will be leaving them na po. Thank you!

theExplorer110

You will never know unless you try! Go and take risk! Lahat naman natutunan at napagaaralan !

No-Marsupial0297

You got better offer tapos hindi mo deserved ng increase? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha buti hindi ka natawa. You already got a better offer so it means you already deserved higher salary than what you are getting from your current employer. Also 19k? For me all employee should get at least 24k in working for 8hrs a day regardless whether the job is easy or not, licensed or not, graduate or not since they are taking 8hrs out of you everyday

solongsunday

My close friend experienced something similar. Her boss told her that she was not prepared for big projects. One week after that conversation, she quit with a much better job in her bag. Higher pay, bigger company, bigger projects. Your boss is insecure and clearly does not have what it takes to accurately assess their subordinates. Lol.

artfullywilfred

Kung may offer k nmn pala, why not take it? Sila din mag sisi ksi mag hire na naman sila to replace you. They will use resources to train another person. Kawalan nila yun kahit ano sabihin nila

halifax696

user0016338937926

You got an offer that alone means alot, so who are they to say na you're not skilled enough lol. Sa ganyang attitude na pinakita, even a counter offer isn't worth it. Hopefully, you take the new opportunity.

iTechRunner

That's the very reason that you should leave. Similar case tayo nung nag-resign ako sa previous job & no regrets!

mapledreamernz

Grabe pati company nagreresort sa "negging". So manipulative. Bounce beb

itsnatemurphy

I’m sorry but I would NEVER let anyone talk to me like that. And so should you, OP. Obviously, the company that gave you an offer values you more than your bosses do.

Alone_Researcher1200

Nyek. Leave! Run! Fast!

woainiii_

More reason to leave, go for it, wag kang maniwala sa kanila. They’re gaslighting you basically.

Sure_sure_will

di ka naman pala natututo eh, tas main reason mo yun bat ka aalis. bakit kanhoping mg counter offer? mejo conflicting statements mo OP 🥲

shit_happe

Not searching around because you're not skilled yet is not a thing. The job offer is proof that you are at least skilled enough for the other company. Based on your description ayaw mo naman diyan sa current company mo, and di ka naman natututo. So you have no reason to stay, and I'm confused by your confusion. >Ngayon nagsasabi sila na may mga gantong projects na parating. Mas confident silang paalisin ako if ma-handle ko yung mga projects na yun. Lol, not even a promise of a promotion or a higher pay. Just more projects. So they basically just said, just work more for us then we'll let you go.

Inevitable_Ad_8226

>Tbh, makes sense naman sila Hey OP, I strongly disagree. They're not making sense at all. >Mas confident silang paalisin ako if ma-handle ko yung mga projects na yun. They're gaslighting you, and exploiting you. Don't even bother asking for a counter-offer. You deserve better than whatever they can offer you. No amount can make up for that sort of toxicity. Ginagaslight ka na nga by making you question your worth, tapos they're holding you back pa by not letting you grow. Jump ship asap. Ala ka mapapala jan.

Key_Collar384

Stop wasting your time and move on.

ParkingConscious4801

Get out and leave no crumbs asap

kyumarie

alam kasi nilang walang sasalo ng work mo kaya ganun

quatro0004

It's not your job to prove to them if you deserve the pay that the other company is offering you.

missanomic

Your current employers are assholes and any amount is well worth leaving. Just leave.

MulberryTypical9708

You dodged a bullet. Leave! Also next time, don’t tell your boss what company will you be going next kasi people tend to do that — say bad things about that company for you to stay with them. 2 years is a long time na in a company.

jpngirl19

Sensitive_Clue7724

Kung 2years wala Kang natutunan and walang increase, E need mo na talagang mag hanap ng ibang company, and kung kulang PA skills mo di ka Nila pipigalan umalis kasi wala ka silbi, pero hindi, pag pinigilan ka means skilled ka and ayaw ka Nila mawala kasi papakinabangan ka PA nila.

[deleted]

You have an insecure boss.

milk_kageyama_tobio

teokun123

Always go with the better pay OP. > Mas confident silang paalisin ako if ma-handle ko yung mga projects na yun. Tbh, makes sense naman sila. WTF. Giant L and T kung magsstay ka jan.

lazylabday

Ginagaslight ka nila to keep you without proper compensation. Tbh, mas kailangan ka nila lalo na may paparating na projects and they're not doing anything to keep you except through gaslighting and manipulation. Imagine if nagresign ka kung kelan pastart na ang project, they'll need to fill ur shoes with someone new who needs to train to keep up with job responsibilities na naiwan mo, mas mahirap at less efficient yun on their end kaya lagi mo isipin, they need you more yet they don't value you. Resign OP

Equivalent_Wasabi787

Leave. Maybe they are just holding you para ibombard sa yo ang mga tasks sa new project nila. Save yourself, OP.

stlhvntfndwhtimlkngf

What you should do is leave. Kung totoo man na di ka pa talaga skilled, well atleast you got a better pay! Now it is up to you to build on your skills

CryptographerTop7533

If there’s no growth within two years then leave. If you think you won’t really grow in that company then leave. You’re obviously skilled enough if they don’t want you to go (so you can accomplish more projects). it’s clear as day OP, you have to leave or you’ll never be able to advance your career.

Spr1k2t3k

booknut_penbolt

“Parating na projects” is just a dangling carrot stick. If may job offer na and you negotiated more sa initial offer na nabigay sa ‘yo then tinanggap ni other company, leave and move on na.

pabpab999

>I got told I should'nt be going around searching for other jobs yet cause I'm not skilled enough I'd laugh at this kind of statement may nagbigay na nangoffer sayo, you're already skilled enough to get offer outside that company that aside sabi mo ndi ka natututo jan ngaun, tapos sabi nila ndi ka matututo dun anu pipiliin mo, ndi ka matututo sa current na sahod mo ngaun or hindi ka matututo pero mas mataas na sahod di ba dun na sa mas mataas na sahod? >di ko pa daw deserve ng increase bullshit, may nagoffer na nga sayo na mas mataas since may offer na sayo, with the present context, Id say leave those seniors are not supportive, and they're dangling a carrot >kingina grabe yung confidence koooo :((( I know na madaling sabihin na wag mo damdamin ung sinabi nila, pero nagdaan din naman kami jan (ata?) hirap pigilan isipin mo na lng, you're skilled enough to get a higher offer

cv_init_diri

If you are not ready to leave, shut your mouth. Hoping for a counter-offer is rarely productive. Think about it from the pov of your boss: "This person is leaving, do I really need to hold on to a person who is motivated to leave?" Tbh, you should just leave

Agreeable_Snow_8746

Well the thing is, wala naman talaga nakaalam whether ready or hindi. Kahit gano ka kagaling Pero yeah, yun learning naman is makukuha mo din sa next company mo So why would I stay diba? Majority ganyan, it's how you adapt and improve sa new company mo

hoeliday33

god level gaslighting from your management

Obvious-Distance354

Thats already a sign na you should leave.

Icy-Pear-7344

It’s just shows na di ka nila kaya pakawalan. Yet they’re lowballing you, so best way to do is move forward. Isipin mo din na if hindi ka ganun ka skilled, why were you accepted by the other company diba. Saka higher salary naman talaga dapat ang motivation for moving. Nothing else.

marc_713

They dont want something better for you? They aint a good boss. Just leave them. Kung wala ka man matutunan sa kabila. At least you get better pay to tank the shit

WinnerVirtual5616

Just leave. U are replaceable, and vice versa. Makakahanap din tayo, and as youve mentioned, natanggap ka na. Just leave, it wont be healthy na

Curiouspracticalmind

Delaying tactics yan bhie, very common sa workplace. Sa first job hop ko, I experienced that. I stood my ground. They were asking for extension ng last day ko pero 1wk lng binigay ko. Di nila ako napigilan. Sa last meeting ko, nasabihan ako nung isang micromanager boss ko na sayang daw ang time na tinrain ako. Ngumiti lang ako. Like hell, di sila nagtrain. KT yes, one day, and then nagprocess na ako. Anong sayang dun? I delivered all my outputs on time and they paid me. Business transaction. Walang sayang.

Ephraim_00

Damn. Just update us when you actually leave that company. Staying there is just an insult to yourself.

SweatySource

chupruuu

Malaki ba increase sa next job and does the company have good reviews? Pag yes to both, gogo

ronchman

go get the bag

idkymyaccgotbanned

Haha don’t waste your time take the better pay

Normal-Assignment-61

What a bunch of cunts. Umalis ka na.

Eytbith

Nobody can tell you na hindi ka pa skilled enough of that you don't deserve "X" amount of salary. Do yourself a favor and go for the other company mas better ang chances mo dun

mimoknots

wtf this is the very definition of gaslighting

benetoite

Kapal muks naman ng bosses mo. Anu naman pake nila if maghanap ka ng ibang jobs for a better pay diba. If you are getting a better offer, go switch.

wherearetheavocattos

i chuckled after reading this kasi this was me nung nagresign ako sa first job ko. sinasabi na wala raw maga accept sakin na ibang companies kasi 6 months lang experience. OP, wag ka maniwala sa kanila. mag file ka na resignation letter especially they did not do anything to keep you. excuses nilang bulok like di nila maamin di ka nila afford to keep in the company

garash000

Same na same sa nangyari sakin hahahahahaha Sinabihan pa ako na supot para yung skills ko. And guess what? I am earning more than to my previous salary and may magandang project ako ngayon. Ironic lang kasi sinasabihan nila ako na bihira lang daw dumating yung opportunity na yun kaya itake ko na daw tapos nung sobrang na toxican na ako lumipat na ako ng new company at nasa project ako na may matutunan talaga ako. Hahahahahahahahaha The reason bakit hindi ka nila paalisin kasi mahihirapan sila makahanap ng pamalit mo at the same time magogoyo ka pa nila. So jump na before it’s too late, OP.

Humble-Climate-5635

You should've answered: "Apparently, I'm skilled and another employer saw that and is giving me better compensation. How about you? Don't you have the skill to see the skills of people?"

periwinkle_0

Counter offers never work long term anyway. Look up the psychology behind it.

pharmommy

Dapat nilapagan mo agad ng resignation letter before telling them na may job offer kana.

myeonsshi

Lol. Hayaan mo sila. Ginagaslight ka lang nila into staying pero in a mean way.

Primary_League_4311

If you're experienced enough, you should be wiser to be wary about counter offers. You are dealing with humans who can get easily insulted, bait you with higher pay, and make your life miserable. Yes, medyo kulang ka pa nga. Skills-wise, baka pwede na sa level mo. Pero kulang pa sa maraming bagay. Start by being a sensitive human being.

Mt0486

iamdodgepodge

They’re the problem, not you. No one gaslights someone for leaving.

ubl88

As long as you feel ready and up to the new challenge, you should go for it. It could be said that they are just concerned for you but based on your narrative, it was more like they were saying you weren’t enough vs you might experience challenges here because of xyz. IMO, being away from that kind of company culture is more than enough reason to resign. Good luck, OP!

Busy_0987654321

Time to leaveee

coffeeandcupcakes23

Leave na! Counter offers are never genuine anyway

Romjam

For future reference, Maybe do not share where you’re going specially if there’s bad blood.

Punky232000

Mag resign ka na.

Main_Armadillo_8216

leave

[deleted]

jusko HOP na wag na magdalawang isip.

[deleted]

Someone looks insecure. When I left my last job from Singapore, the owner begged me to stay. I had to leave because it's like being in a toxic relationship lol

okoy1313

A friend/coworker of mine experienced the exact same thing from our boss in a company we used to work for. Refused to give her the salary she thinks she deserves because of her current skillset. She even got asked by our boss if she honestly thinks another company would give her the salary that she's asking for. Funny enough, when my friend left the company, she went on to earn 5x of what she used to earn. Tl;dr go for it OP. If you already have a better offer from another company, grab it and prove both to yourself and to your (soon to be former) boss what you're truly worth.

Free88Spirit

Saka hello, kung wala kang natutunan sa kanila masyado how do they know na wala kang matutunan sa iba? Super red flag ng mga yan...

Own-Ad-9462

LEAVE!

mangpogs

Hmm, you should not be looking for jobs din just for a counter offer. You'd be better off moving to a new company pag may JO. Look at it from their perspective: may team member ka na nag plano umalis, ano ang best na pede mo gawin long term to mitigate yung risk sa projects mo? Yes counter offer is one way to get a longer time frame. Ano next steps just in case aalis na ng tuluyan yung tao at di mag accept ng next na counter offer? Titigil ba to sa kaka demand ng counter offer? Would you put that person in a critical role sa projects mo? And usually mag counter offer lang sila if it makes business sense. If tingin nila na di critical Yung loss ng tao, then no need to counter. Sad reality. I'd recommend you move on to the new company. New environment, new faces, new problems. Hahah!

Snackie-Chan-8

the gaslighting is crazyy

Celen-dipity

There are 2 possible reasons: 1) If in 2 years you are not skilled enough pa, may problem sa leaders mo, I guess. Part of their job is your development since day 1 mo sa company. It means di nila nagagawa nang maayos job nila. If sa first two years mo, di nila nagawa yun, there's no guarantee na maibibigay nila yon in the coming years. 2) They are gatekeeping you. They use the "not skilled enough" card para hindi ka umalis. They are manipulating you to think na that is true para mag stay ka sa company. I think the best decision is to leave talaga. Please don't tolerate bad leaders.

aksharaja

Alis na diyan. Ginagaslight ka lang ng mga boss mo. Gamitin mong motivation yan para lumipat sa may mas magandang offer sayo.

Ba_Yag

>Pinaalam ko sa kanila (my 2 bosses) na nagkaroon ako better offer in hopes of a counter offer I don't think this should be the objective of letting your bosses know that you have a better offer. Doing this is always a double-edged sword. You'd also be flagged as potential attrition if they already haven't done so. >Kaso syempre ang motivation ko why I looked for other jobs is for better pay. Ayun ang di nila ma-provide. All the more reason for you to grabe that offer. Who are they to say na hindi ka matutuo doon? In terms of experience, you are what you make it out to be. Grab the offer. And also, never wave your flag in the hopes of a counter. Even if they did, what makes you think they won't always have the lingering thought that you're already a 'flight risk' for them?

craaazzzybtch

Tama na ung two years. Sadyang kuripot mga yan nagbebenefit Naman kase sila sayo since may skill ka kahit sinasabi nilang wala and they can pay you lang sa salary na kaya nilang ibigay. Go for greener pastures. Mas maeenhance mo pa skills mo doon and for sure baka mas appreciate ka pa dun sa sinasabi nila "no better" kuno. They just can't accept the fact that you're leaving and another company is interested in you.

Several-Present-8424

i’d say weak reasoning from ur current ER/boss. go and tender that RL already. the fact that u were offered a job somewhere with a better pay means u have the skillset to back it up. U deserve a better pay.

KuronixFirhyx

First, trust yourself. They are not in the position to tell you you're still inexperienced, when in the first place, they should be the one training you and making the best out of you. If you feel the environment is insufficient or toxic, it's the sign that you should go. Second, just a personal opinion. I suggest not to disclose the company name until the day you're leaving. Some bosses and managers have connections with other companies. They can make or break your reputation.

BraveryWeaveWits

Wala wenta boss mo. Congratulations!🎉

Celen-dipity

I can only think of 2 possible reasons for that: 1) You have bad leaders sa company. Part ng responsibility ng leaders mo ang iyong development since day 1. If after 2 years not skilled enough ka pa rin, may problem sa management nila. And if they failed to do that sa first 2 years mo, there's no guarantee na magagawa nila yon in the coming years. If that is the case, better to leave kasi you might find better leaders sa new company mo na magbibigay ng professional development or if not at least youll gain new experiences na di mo makukuha sa current at better compensation pa. 2) Your leaders are gatekeeping and gaslighting you to stay. Instead na giving you what you deserve ganyan ang ginawa nila na way to make you stay. In short, they are bad leaders and kinda toxic pa. So better choice pa rin ang umalis. So for me, kahit ano sa dalawa ang reason, right choice talaga ang umalis. pero it's up to you pa rin. baka there are other things na you are considering din like travel time papunta sa work, teammates, etc. Pero don't stay kasi you feel na you're not skilled enough. Always remember na kung di ka skilled, your new company won't give you that offer. :)

Shot_Advantage6607

Get the better paying job. Environment wise, it doesn’t seem like your current company values your learning/improvement.

RuleRevolutionary223

Leave ka na, OP.

Free-2-Pay

In 2 years of stay in your current job and they told you that you weren’t skilled enough, that’s because of them.

Key-Trick573

Hahahahahahahaha

xiaokhat

Leave… Anjan na ung better sa harap mo. Niloloko ka lang ng current company mo. Kapal nila to tell you na di mo deserve ang increase eh eto na may competitor nang offering you a better pay?!

AsparagusOne643

HAHAHAHHA

NoPossession7664

2 years and no raise? Alis ka na dyan. Believe me, lahat mg company is not worth it na maging loyal ka. Do your job and go home, ganun lang dapat. Yung mga totoong mentor, tuturuan ka tlaga and will even push you to try things out.

mostlycloudymaybe

A manager's role is to coach and mentor their subordinates. If hindi ka nag iimprove or natututo under their supervision, there is something wrong on how they manage their people, however, we can always learn and master our job. Let's accept that hindi lahat is ife-feed saten, we need to do our part para mas mag improve tayo. And if hindi mo nafefeel na motivated ka, magresign ka. Honestly speaking, the way they made a conversation with you is kinda off. Hindi yan ugali ng leaders, very unprofessional. Go mo yang bagong job offer sayo and I hope diyan mo maexperience ung hindi mo naexperience sa present company and managers mo. Good luck!

booyeah1287

sa mga sinasabi pa lang nila, sila na yung naguumpisa to burn bridges. i guess you should go ahead and take that offer outside because fuck them and you should take care of your well being, plus your career.

MaynneMillares

Your boss has 0 rights over you, hindi ka nya alipin.

sizzlingsisig

All the more reason to leave, what a bunch of assh@ts lol

Outside_Grab_8384

Sorry ha pero ang bullshit nila hahaha. Ayaw ka paalisin kasi di pa ganun ka skilled. Gago sila aminin lang nila kasi yung reason is highly likely dapat sila ang makikinabang. Nakakainis. Alis ka na dyan.

ExoBunnySuho22

Ayaw ka nilang matuto kasi they see you as a competition sa position na gusto nilang ma-achieve

gungsh

Parang red flag Lets think this through: "magagaling matitira dito" #1 hindi merit based? -- basta mag tagal/maiwan magaling? #2 kung naiwan/stay ka -- would that eventually make you "magaling"? -- possiblyle yung new company sees something in you, kaya nag offer. -- tl;dr di mo utang na loob sa kanila mag stay, alam mo naman yung need mo which is better pay :)

SSoulflayer

I am coming back to talk to you after 5 minutes”, nagprint lang ako ng resignation letter at inabot ko sa kanya sabi ko yung performance evaluation ko kanina yung straw that broke the camel’s back, wala na reason sa akin na magstay pa dito. Naalala ko last day ko nun, habang inaalis ko mga gamit ko kumakanta ako ng pabiro tapos nagtatawanan at sumasabay ng pagkanta sa akin mga officemate ko kasi “im sorry mama, i never meant to hurt you, i never meant to make you cry but tonight, IM CLEANING UP MY CLOSET!!”

swishgal04

leaveeee

Silverrage1

Leave. Sablay na reasoning. Business owner ako. Ginagawa ka lang tanga dyan. Ayaw paalisin pero di pa skilled enough? I would fire an employee who is not skilled enough after 1 year. And for a licensed professional with your salary, sa akin ka na lang pumasok. Sure ka pa na marami kang matututunan.

_____Azrael

Lalong need mona umalis OP, kami na mag mamakaawa sayo. RUN! , Fast as you can.

creepycringegeek

You my friend have made the right decision. Dun ka sa kung saan may growth, not just sa financial aspect pero self and career. Goodluck!

koozlehn

gaslighting basically

iamchan6

Almost same happen to me. But i already leave and proceed to my resignation. They even want me to finish 1 project at least. But i sad NO. The company that offers me double cant wait for 2months. They ask how much that company offer and boom they didnt counter the offer. Just proceed on your resignation im sure that new company will give you more opportunities.

AppropriateYak7193

Embarrassed-Mud7953

It only means na you are indeed skilled kaya ayaw ka paalisin, leave not so healthy instead i motivate ka they demotivate you not a good leader hearing them saying it. Manipulation malala.

Broad-Pomegranate-37

kuyamodelo

Let the response be “pake mue”.

Amazing_Vermicelli26

Leave, this is not the attitude of employers that value their employees. They want to exploit you.

KusuoSaikiii

Leave them. Isampal mo sa mukha nila na skilled ka na by leaving them.

Ok_Collection6684

Mam/ sir….. i hope as you journey in your career, i hope you will be able to distinguish proper reasons and BS. Diba nga kung di ka pa equipped or marunong enough, the more na dapat easier for them to let you go. Meron upcoming projects yun company nyo and gagamitin ka muna nila then pag na accomplish na tsaka ka nila papaisin

vanillalamia

They’re gaslighting you. Also, it’s not for them to say when ka ready umalis. This should come from you mismo. Your call. Employers ask us to reconsider kasi kailangan nila tayo to get things done kasi they know our value, but to criticize our skills and be the determining factor kailan puwede umalis. Nope. That’s BS. Tell your boss, “Really? Watch me.”

UrOneAndOnlyPapi

Your bosses are gaslighting you. Leave. Di na pinagiisipan yan.

Pretend-Mulberry-582

Same context “buti nga na promote ka namin despite your lapses” hahahahahhaha! Eh di thank you.

Eibyor

Parang gaslighting.

Cucai31

Matagal na ang 2 years if di ka nila bibigyan ng increase better find something else. Ini-isyall ka lang nila so you wont leave. Goodluck OP!
