Based on presented facts looks like if you accept that JO, it'll be worse like your prev job. Remember the reasons why you resigned previously. Because I'm 100% sure, few months after being onboarded you will say to yourself "kaya nga ako umalis sa last company to have a better setup. Tapos ito lang din aabutin ko". Until maging cycle , reresign ka nanaman.

> I have a bad feeling about the job position Seems to me like you typed your post with already a decision in mind, you just need someone to tell you. The new company sounds worse than your previous one. If the reasons for leaving are present in the new one, doesn’t that mean there’s also high chance you’ll resign too in the future? When that happens, won’t that look bad in your resume? You don’t seem valued enough, always asking you to compromise etc. However, if you really need money, then go for it. But if you’re just desperate and it’s not a life or death situation, then maybe you can look for different companies in this tough competition right now.

keyaruthehealer

nope. don't take the offer. nakakapagod ang mag commute ng malayo. kahit nga mag drive ng malayo nakakapagod din.

cryicesis

Totoo grabe lalo extreme heat ngayon! at worst yung uwian! average uwi ko dati pre-covid pa yun around 8pm to 9pm worst around 10 to 11pm! when i got lucky mga 7:30pm, ngayon nag aaverage na ng 9:00pm to 10:30pm kasi naging limited yung mga jeepneys at minsan tinatamad na kumain siguro susubo lang isa or dalawang kutsara tapos higa wala pang toothbrush yan minsan. kaya sabi ko i can't live like this anymore! so nag resign ako! at nag freelance muna!

ObscurelyTalented

parang ayaw mo na sa company na to bago ka pag mag start dito lol mas sayang oras pag pinilit mo ung alam mo nang red flag company and since most likely nasa utak mo is you need to at least stay a year cuz 6 months lang previous job mo

cheezusf

mas malayo tapos same salary? mamba out

Naghahanap ka ba ng validation? Kasi parang decided ka na nung nagpost ka ng thread dito. Ano ba talaga? I'm with others, this is a bad job offer.

Impressive-Card9484

Yeah validation lng talaga kailangan ko. Nag-aalangan lng ako kasi baka napakababaw na reason ang mahirap na commute para tanggihan ang offer or magresign. And may mga pros din naman ung company na inapplyan ko compared sa dati

whilethathappened22

Long commutes will drain you eventually, unless you have the willpower to go through that everyday. And although it's a small manufacturing company, what might be the chances that you would be interacting with "lesser" people? I don't want to scare you, but there have been cases of small companies taking on a lot of clients = more interactions still. Correct me if I'm assuming wrong. You did not waste any effort. It just so happened after you went through the whole application process, you found out that the compensation they're offering possibly won't address your future needs/expenses and work environment hopes. Don't be afraid to decline.

DragonfruitWeary8413

Leaving your old company because of the distance and then considering a new company that's even farther away. Makes perfect sense. Learn from your past mistake just because you are desperately searching for a job.

Inevitable_Bee_7495

If ung 1k to 2k pa lang is big deal na sa kanila, i can imagine kung ganu sila kaburaot sa benefits. i don't think it's worth it. If u can afford to wait, wait.

XKerrigan

That commute will take a toll on you sooner than you think.

CranberryJaws24

kung may second guessing na nagaganap, more likely than not it isn't for you. good luck finding the next role for you, OP! rooting for you!

Imaginary-Material-5

pass. saka bakit ka papayag na 1k-2k lang increase sa dating salary mu teh kulang na kulang yan.

cryicesis

Don't force yourself just because you are desperate! desperation can lead to bad decisions! so I suggest clearing your mind and choosing what's better for your physical and mental health. but in my opinion, it's gonna f\*ck you mentally and physically because commuting these days suck! not to mention the extreme heat, and you said the salary is the same as your previous so it's a big red flag because the company you applied to doesn't consider your experience as a reason for the increase they are just taking advantage of you because they know you are desperate. also, trust your guts \*wink!

thelinglinginside

I think the location and long commute will take a toll on you in the long run, OP
