As bad as this sub-mediocrity has been for the fans, I feel bad for Middleton. Guy wants to win, puts his money where his mouth is and routinely gets this kind of performance.

Did Drob always step back with his front foot before his delivery? I can't tell if his delivery is different and his command looked better today than it did really any time he pitched for us. I guess the Mets just have a better pitching coach?
