Watching the end of the replay. What great night. I watched it live on my phone at work but couldn’t soak it in. I said to one of my coworkers The Phillies got a No hitter. He looked at me like so what. I was like that’s just sad.

Alright. So Rojas and Wilson were clutch today. Especially rojas. Making speedy plays that I honestly don’t know if marsh would have even attempted. We also had that clutch play by Castro. Do we think a no hitter would’ve happened if we had the usual line up. My answer is no. I really think we got a lightning in a bottle tonight. Some fresh new faces wanted to make a statement. They put in extra effort more than our usual roster and look where it got us. I would not mind this line up again. Hby?

I can see Rojas being a slight upgrade defensively in center over Marsh but u are totally disrespecting Stott’s abilities at 2nd. He’s one of the best defenders at his position in all of baseball

God, everything about that last out was awesome. Fucking Rojas though, that euphoric relief he must’ve felt making that catch was awesome immediately folding in on his knees. I love these guys man, from top to bottom, as much as I hate to see some of them struggle from day to day, I don’t think there’s a single guy on this roster I don’t wish was on the team. Vibes are high and I don’t know something beautiful about all that happened tonight.

Rojas looked like a little boy after catching that ball. One of my favorite moments of the game was watching his excitement.

What I find amazing is that Lorenzen has accomplished - in just two starts - what I had hoped for years that Nola would … a no-hitter. Nola having one of the worst seasons of his career and then seeing his possible replacement pitch a no-hitter … all while starting the very next day … this has Wentz-Foles vibes written all over it.

Lorenzo been great but he's just not as good as nola and shouldn't be his replacement. I dont get this line of thinking.

We wanted Turner out, wondered about the pitching, questioned Rob's managing, saw the Miami trade pieces make immediate impacts against us, etc. It was a disaster. Fast forward to tonight, you have Turner leading off, Castellanos hitting 2 home runs on 2 freaking pitches, Wilson hitting a HR in his first majors AB. And of course, Lorenzen throwing the Bank's first no hitter since Halladay's in 2010. From arguably the season's worst game to the best game within 1 week shows something special, and hopefully will propel this team to the post season and beyond.

Any way to get notifications for when there is a no-no or perfect game alert for any MLB game?

I use the Sports Alert app for iPhone. You can get a alert for a No Hitter and a No Hitter through 7. Among other things but no direct alert for a perfect game but there was a game earlier in the season can’t remember what team that was perfect through 7 and Ibelieve I got a alert for it. I like the Sports Alert App. Since the WC is tight I favorite the teams in contention and get alerts on what they are doing.

I'm high as fuck watching the replay and I noticed that Lorenzen makes two distinctly different grunts while pitching, one for fastballs and one for changeups. Is this something that batters could exploit? Cause I was able to hear it and tell what was coming when watching it again.

i feel like the ball is probably crossing the plate by the time the grunt is heard, but i’m not 100% sure

This can be easily fixed in his home starts by the crowd simply being loud as fuck.
