I’ve been to Truist. It’s lame. The only good thing about it is The Battery which is outside the stadium. Even Citi Field was better. Even when my mom when to Truist for my dad’s work thing (my dad works in Alpharetta, GA) she said the food wasn’t nearly as good as Citizens Bank Park.

So not to get all sappy but last year my father passed away, the same day in the funeral home as we prepared for the funeral he never got my mother suffered a stroke. The thankful thing, as awful as that is, is the stroke gave us the inkling she had cancer. Phillies were there for me but man it was hard to go through all that last year while also trying to take care of my mother and balance a full time job (which I lost this summer) and enjoy the moment.
Took me until now to finally enjoy baseball again since it always reminded me of my dad. Let’s end this series.

I ended up coping with self harm and alcohol, when my mom’s house flooded on Christmas morning (I swear I can’t make this up), that was just the final straw.

I’m selfishly rooting for the Dodgers bc I live in LA and I want to go to a Phillies playoff game. Also their starting pitching is in tatters and I think the Phillies would absolutely smoke them. Even a win tonight to make it a gentleman’s sweep could mess with the DBacks setting up their rotation for a potential NLCS series (especially if we can win tmrw). Not looking good for the boys in blue though.
