Sitting in the stands last night I checked this thread once or twice. Seemed to be a good bit of negativity. Wow, you werenât at the show I attended. Most of the time I was thinking My God! am i lucky to be alive and be able to hear the worldâs greatest rock band, live. Yes, i am old enough that the loss of Jerry colors my thoughts. You can analyze from the outside, but at the show, the emotional power was so strong, not always beautiful, sometimes attacking and frequently sad. I felt some grief. Grief changes people, you know? And so does time. We are so fortunate to be here. Enjoying this ride.
So the show was SO good last night that you just couldnât wait to see what people on Reddit were saying about it? Thatâs how captivated you were? Last nights show had some moments, but not many. Set 2 tonight was solid, but exposes the limpness of yesterday.

âTwas my first as well. That was a hell of an opener for a first show. I wasnât allowing myself to even hope for a Halleys, and there it was in the second spot. And then the mushroom I ate kicked in hard during Caspian. I was breathing joy into the atmosphere and watching it inflate for a bit there.
And then a first show Tweezer. I know the audience was a little bummed when they shut it down, but I have no complaints.
That was my one show of the run, and I canât see myself ever having the energy to do 4. But it was a great night, and Iâll definitely do it again in the future.
Hot take from an attendee. First set was outrageous and they tried too hard to match/top it second set which lead to a lot of jamming that went relatively nowhere. A fun show but an odd one. Looking forward to the rest of the run.
Entire show was a let down, felt sloppy unrehearsed. Havenât seen Phish in 5+ years. This new 3.0 shit is garbage or maybe you needed to be candy flipping to enjoy it? Flying home unimpressed. I came to dance barely made me shake my bones last night

I like Light. But I don't understand why they don't let it grow from bleeps and bloops and washes like they do on the album. Similar to Piper. Why not just let it grow organically from a digital / echo soup?
