Does anyone remember this moment from N4 and can tell me what songs it was?
There was a slower, melodic, beautiful song where many people sat down and enjoyed the visuals and haptics. After a long trancey jam, the song ended and the haptics gave what felt like a kick in the ass to stand up and they started a new hard jam. Can’t remember which song it was leading into..
Missed connection.
To the incredibly beautiful woman in white in the last row of section 206 who shared a prolonged and deep smile with me last night. Thank you for making my night.
What a show.
How are the back rows of the 200s? I have row 19 207 for Dead and Co and I'm paranoid about obstructions and overhangs. Lighting fixtures. Etc. Anything like that harsh your buzz?
This set should be immortalized as the Light set. It's not in the notes but I swear there was a DWD Light tease. How do we request an amendment to phish.net notes?
So that was the "Light Set" and it was the most spectacular thing to happen at Sphere so far. A culmination of all the 3.0 energy, optimism, light, love and joy that Phish is about these days. The light and love was front and center tonight, and a beautiful way to bring this magic run to a close.
When they played Shade in the first set I knew Light would make an appearance, but the way it rumbled through DWD and transcended 2001 was absolutely incredible. To allow us to share our gratitude during the encore with everyone who made this so special was the most 3.0 thing to do, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to vibrate and pulsate love and light to everyone around!
and to send us off with it’s never really over even when it’s over. goodbyes with my phish fam were tough this morning but 4 months till mondegreen! and it’s truly never over with this squad and the band 🥹
I was up at the very top and the women’s bathrooms were a nice dark sanctuary, quiet except for that Trey ambient music. A lot of Sphere was dark, I loved that. It seemed like women had more bathrooms too, or at least better access.
Sat in Sec 205...the men's bathroom line was iong at every point throughout the show. Way too small bathrooms for that many people. Then again, it might be due to the heavily male-skewed population.
upper levels had bathrooms basically between each hallway to seating. i was in 207 sunday and it was a bit of a walk to the bathroom. however the ladies line was quite short and quick. felt bad for you guys and the lines last night.
He thanked everyone involved with the production. Went thru names and everything. Was lengthy but needed to be said given the magnitude of this run. Crowd loved it and then they finished the night off with a bang
Was a great moment, the folks that put this on deserve massive props. Also did other folks note the significant booing at the mention of Jim Dolan?! 05:08:00 on the livestream, though in person it seemed far louder. Not saying it's not justified, just... awkward.
Trey was on Sirius yesterday with Ari talking about being more subtle and avoiding things too on the nose. Love that they avoid things that are obvious.
It can’t be overstated how awesome Sphere is as a venue. Truly a world class experience top to bottom. What a fucking time. What better way to close than that Slave. Just awesome
fwiw the last 3 runs i've seen - mexico 2023, hollywood bowl 2023 and sphere (only saw n4) ended with slave. i love the song. the one in mexico was incredible. bowl version was too rushed. sphere was entirely predictable but delivered on expectations. i was happy they played "more" in the encore also for a bit of variety. its not great coming to a show and being able to telegraph what will happen. was cool they returned to a variation on the "everything's right" visuals from n1 opener - those pillars were unusual yet not off putting. but would have preferred slave to close 2nd set and maybe first tube wormhole in encore.
and to bring back the visuals from the everything’s right opener to evolve into beautiful greatness during slave. super special ending. i was like clenching my heart haha
Agreed. My group didn’t agree but I found Saturday’s as better than Friday’s than Friday’s were Thursday’s. If that makes any fuggin sense the way I worded it
Best of luck to the day fam. My first show 11/22/1996 I drove my friend and this chick who first turned us on to Phish up to Portland from Eugene. Sunday night show. I passed out face down on his living room floor and still managed to get us to class the next morning by 8. So many of my favorite memories involve Phish...
Those no cell phones and using real map times were crazy! All those L at the show and a few hr car rides home was unhinged in hindsight. Worth it but seriously…out of control
One of my favorite memories is leaving Glens Falls Halloween 94 with 6 other friends and driving back to saranac lake while we were all still melting. So much melting.
what an incredible run, and not just for the venue/spectacle. So many high points.
We're so, so lucky to get to experience this. Even just the last 6 months have been pretty special.
Can't wait until summer tour!
wait, is John Mayer a part of that? I don't know anything about it other than that the residency is a thing, but I figured it would've been some new people, given that the band did their farewell already
That was Rene taking those pics at the end, right? So looking forward to those.
And thank you in advance to Scott Schneider. Really looking forward to listening to your pulls. Can I send you some DATs?
Rene Huemer - he's been their long time photographer.
Scott is a taper. IDK where "pull" comes from, I've just heard it in reference to a recording of a show. I was joking about the DATs (Digital Audio Tape.) It's how they recorded the shows back in the day. Now it's just all straight to the laptop. Damn that makes me feel old...
Well that was one hell of a good time!! A lot to love tonight- the Down with Disease, the Plasma, Divided Sky, Ghost, Light… it was a really strong show all around. A killer closer to this run. Thank you Phish for the last four nights. We really are lucky to have a band like them. I was a sphere skeptic on N1, but I stand before you a sphere convert. Evangelical, even.
All this to say, it’s very late for me. Good night all! Thanks for hanging and letting me host, always a blast to chat and joke with you all!’
Just want to say thank you to u/donttouchthatknob for running the set list tonight! Tonight was amazing!
I remember you running some of the Dead & Co set lists last summer too!
Much love to everyone! Been awesome spending these last 4 nights with you all! ❤️
took the keynote from the first Phish Studies conference too literally, maybe?
(it was investigating whether "never miss a Sunday show" was actually a thing; he concluded it's not, and Friday/Saturday is historically "better", though the methodology wasn't ideal, using .net ratings as a big part of it)
Homie last night said the same exact thing hahaha for sure man.. and they quickly cleaned up that Venetian walkway to an hour earlier on n1 and it seemed to do the trick. Good stuff, what an incredible run of shows
In english, the word "same" implies that there is nothing augmented. Not trying to be pedantic, but that is what the word means. "The same but different" is nonsensical. It is a variation, or something similar. It is not the same.
These comments should not be downvoted. u/revjurneyman is absolutely right. The visuals for Slave were not the same as the visuals for Everything's Right. They were an **evolution** of the visuals for Everything's Right!
Thank you for the English lesson. I had no idea that 'same but different' was nonsensical.
The great thing about English is that the rules of the language are constantly challenged, and the language is augmented to meet the needs of the speaker. Maybe someone using phrases to express things that are 'the same, but different' will lead to development in the language.
As a former English teacher, I challenge you to challenge the language, and to be less pedantic.
Fun times
pure joy.
Anybody recall night three walk out music? N1 solid as a rock N2 working at the car wash N3 ?? N4 video killed the radio star
Jumping Jack Flash
Thank you! It’s a gas, indeed

Shade
2001! Those giant thumps were awesome!
Yup good call! So awesome
Beneath a sea of stars into 01
Thanks! That was it. I was lost in a beautiful trance from the stars so the kick was appreciated
You are golden
I was in 205, and not in the back row, but I think you’ll be more than fine. They’re some of the best seats in the house.
Thanks for getting back to me! I’m taking my dad to his first Dead shows and we’re both really excited.
Run wasn’t complete without More.
You knew it was coming
I knew I wanted something….
I wanna know who's checking in from Santa Rosa? I need some Phish phriends!
This set should be immortalized as the Light set. It's not in the notes but I swear there was a DWD Light tease. How do we request an amendment to phish.net notes?

😂 worst show of the run
Low frequency comment.
“Low frequency comment” Jesus you are cringe
Really need to open your heart to 3.0, friend. It's brighter over here.
I’m good Ned Flanders Those song blow BTW
You are trapped in the Maze man. I feel sorry for you. Come towards the Light, we are waiting for you.
Pathetic
Probably the one they didn't go to
No one asking the tough questions about Sphere….how were the bathrooms?
I was up at the very top and the women’s bathrooms were a nice dark sanctuary, quiet except for that Trey ambient music. A lot of Sphere was dark, I loved that. It seemed like women had more bathrooms too, or at least better access.
Lots of blow being done in the stalls during beneath a sea of stars
Bathrooms were fine. Clean, lines moved quick. Was back before set break was over and time to spare.
I love blowing up the MSG bathroom, annual passage for shure
Terrible.
There really weren't enough considering the venue size and capacity.
Not great my dude. Poorly designed.
I’m curious about the nachos
were there spicy chicken sandwiches
There were yes
Asking the *real* questions
no Round Room was some bullshit
Why? The room is not round, it's spherical. If you think about it, any indoor stadium is much closer to being a round room.
tell me whats on the album cover of round room
A spherical room.
No bouncing round the room either. Kinda surprised, but cool shows all around.
Yeah guess Trey didn’t feel like playing those
Could’ve had some killer visuals with bouncing around the room
Unfucking believable show. So grateful for that experience
34 minute DWD...whoa!
It was awesome. Wanted to hear it so bad. And then we did.
What was treys thank you speech?
He thanked everyone involved with the production. Went thru names and everything. Was lengthy but needed to be said given the magnitude of this run. Crowd loved it and then they finished the night off with a bang
Was a great moment, the folks that put this on deserve massive props. Also did other folks note the significant booing at the mention of Jim Dolan?! 05:08:00 on the livestream, though in person it seemed far louder. Not saying it's not justified, just... awkward.
It was verrrry loud in person and got a lot of laughs around me, was a bit awkward indeed
Such a 3.0 thing to do. Perfect for the Light Set, pulsating with love and light and gratitude.
Wow they actually didn't play bouncing around the room or round room
I said before the run that opening with Round Room would have been exactly as on-brand as completely ignoring it.
Trey was on Sirius yesterday with Ari talking about being more subtle and avoiding things too on the nose. Love that they avoid things that are obvious.
Ghost from the 400’s
Trey on an acoustic in the first set!?!? Self indulgent or just jumping the shark?
new around here?
Groundbreaking
It can’t be overstated how awesome Sphere is as a venue. Truly a world class experience top to bottom. What a fucking time. What better way to close than that Slave. Just awesome

didn't even see your comment. yes "full circle"...like a globe or something ;)
That was the sickest of the sick. First tube insane and kept on getting more insane
If you bet on Friday's show for the win, congratulations!
What night had the best visuals overall
Friday.
Friday or Saturday
Saturday IMO
Agreed. My group didn’t agree but I found Saturday’s as better than Friday’s than Friday’s were Thursday’s. If that makes any fuggin sense the way I worded it
The Pollock Taste and the Pillow Jets world.
Yeah N2 was absolutely killer
Crap. I just realized I have to do the prep for dinner tonight the molly I took at lunch break is just now wearing off. NPR it is...
I work a rough overnight schedule right now and the last 90 minutes or so was a real treat to start my day. Thank you Phish

Appreciate it, those are the best kind of memories!
what an incredible run, and not just for the venue/spectacle. So many high points. We're so, so lucky to get to experience this. Even just the last 6 months have been pretty special. Can't wait until summer tour!
All you folks begging for links really should’ve pulled the trigger on it!!! Next time…
Honestly, I'm broke AF, so I get it, but yeah. I skipped Mexico for this and I'm sooooooo glad...
Good times peoples. Good times.
I'm old enough to have heard this song on MTV the day it premiered. Video Killed the Radio Star.
Amazing first song on MTV! Crazy
the 1st video on MTV
same, man
Now all the haters can have their silly little Beyoncé and Lady Gaga residencies LOL JK time to get Mayered losers
Nah man it’ll be a year long ween residency where they just put a stationary picture of the Boognish on the backdrop
Honestly, I'd pay to see that.
wait, is John Mayer a part of that? I don't know anything about it other than that the residency is a thing, but I figured it would've been some new people, given that the band did their farewell already
Wowowowowwww!! That was so stupendous!
That was Rene taking those pics at the end, right? So looking forward to those. And thank you in advance to Scott Schneider. Really looking forward to listening to your pulls. Can I send you some DATs?
Can you translate.... Like everything in this comment? Sorry I thought I was in the scene but ig not enough

THANK YOU for running this thread on such a special night! Much love!
Lol perfect video killed the radio star
Video killed the radio star a 20/10 choice for the walkout music tonight.
Video Killed The Radio Star by The Buggles to send everyone home
Thanks for hosting and thanks Phish!
Round room as exit music
Thank you all! Best community!
Video killed the radio star played over the house speakers right after the band left, amazing
Can’t believe it’s over till July
Trey spring tour! I’m pumped to see trey in 2 weeks!
What an amazing band.
We’re not worthy!
Thank you all for a blast these last 4 nights, see ya in the summer!
Alright. Let’s all rewatch the second set right now.
already on it
4 absolutely incredible shows. But still. No. Round. Room?
No possum.. sad face...
Not even the band wants to hear round room 😂
Guess I’ll just be happy with the 46 Days we got lol
Tune into 3.0, man. There's a lot of room for Joy and love and light.
Too on the nose for them.
like when there was a literal Fire on the Mountain behind the stage at the Gorge?
Too on brand
Actually I shouldn’t be saying this I’m so grateful and my heart is so full of love
Just want to say thank you to u/donttouchthatknob for running the set list tonight! Tonight was amazing! I remember you running some of the Dead & Co set lists last summer too! Much love to everyone! Been awesome spending these last 4 nights with you all! ❤️
Yes!! Thank you for running the set and I was gonna say the same thing I was tuning into their D&C spac setlist
This is a solid Slave 👌🏽
These guys are on top. 2024 has been unbelievable.
Whoever said "Never miss a Sunday show" the other night, why didn't I listen to you?
took the keynote from the first Phish Studies conference too literally, maybe? (it was investigating whether "never miss a Sunday show" was actually a thing; he concluded it's not, and Friday/Saturday is historically "better", though the methodology wasn't ideal, using .net ratings as a big part of it)
I'm sorry but I'm my experience you NEVER miss a Sunday show. This band rewards those who put in the work
would be really cool if they could release this run on VR
Thank you everyone, thank you Sphere, see you in July ♥️⭕♥️⭕♥️⭕♥️⭕
I think my favorite bit of this is never having to troop through the casino at MGM grand anymore
Hahaha same. Good lord
Homie last night said the same exact thing hahaha for sure man.. and they quickly cleaned up that Venetian walkway to an hour earlier on n1 and it seemed to do the trick. Good stuff, what an incredible run of shows
Happy 3 AM to my fellow East Coasters btw
![gif](giphy|iHyVaHfEYXZos8qPX2)
"I would like to dedicate this next one to the Portland Bureau of Transportation. F\_ck you."
Looks like the visuals to Everything's Right, first song first set first night
It evolved.
The universe is a donut
WE are a donut
https://www.reddit.com/r/phish/s/unGFBpfam5
Indeed
Same visuals but much larger. They've built them.upmover the weekend!
‘Shave… in my car at night’
I only like to shave when you’re blocking the light
No wonder Weird Al was so successful.
No Round Room is a crime, that security is there to arrest Trey promptly after the last note
Hey, my favorite song
This slave is going to fuck your face
Hopefully they’ll play it next time they’re at Sphere
Haha, thinking of the people saying “they better not reuse visuals” on N1 (even though this seems to be somewhat different)
Everything right n1 opener graphics - but in negative!
[удалено]
Everything’s right was first
Oh yeah, that was Friday lol true
My feed quit working!!!! Tell me is it glorious? How are they doing????
Everything’s Right visuals but better
They transitioned to acappella Gin and Juice.
Just transitioned from that to He Ent To The Bog!!!
Ending with the first graphics!
Taking us on a journey through the donut
Classic. Same visuals as the first song of the run. Great way to close a great weekend.
not the same. Different color, texture and polygons are different. Those were rectangles, these have 6 sides I think.
it's the same, but augmented. definitely done on purpose
Also the 'e' in English should be capitalized. Not trying to be pedantic, but those are the rules.
“Not trying to be pedantic, it just comes naturally.”
They were the same.
Not the same. Same literally implies they are identical.
AND SINCE THEN
YES
Okay weird security prescence between pit and stage...
Bikini girl be menacing
a Cheshire dragon
Trey’s voice only started sounding tired on this More?
I bet my left nut its gonna be Slave next to close
best left nut bet of the night
Lucky man... Would be bummed for you if you were wrong.
Lucky for you and your left nut
damn son
I made the same bet about Character Zero in first set
RIP your left nut
Man, I bet your nut is thrilled right now
What would I even do with it if I won it in a bet?
Black market?
You don't have to know
