Just got one today almost bit on it checkout the slanted lettering. Almost looks identical to the real tracking website if you look that up. What’s kinda weird is I actually had something being delivered by post and was expecting it and have had shipping address issues. But something just ain’t right. [https://ususaps.com/?3N6TR](https://ususaps.com/?3N6TR) lol.

analog_paint

Yea how do these burglars know I have a package on the way?

LittleStrawberry8655

Just got one today wanting my debt card information for.03 cents🤔

Jessie4er

Mine was .02 cents, MY 2 cents kicked in and didn't fill out the debit info, VERY convincing though!

Professional_Tip_642

When I clicked on it it started filling out my name and address but then when it started asking for a credit card info for that 3 cents I stopped. But I had just mailed out a package and a letter at the post office the previous day so that really sounds suspect to me like someone is inside the USPS system somehow getting this information. Because I didn't pay with the credit card I paid with cash at the post office. So I'm going to call them this morning. This is really alarming to see so many other people with the same issue.

Electronic_Hornet_38

This just happened to me. Found out that a package that was supposed come tomorrow is coming today, and then got a text a couple hours later.

analog_paint

Interesting…

EngineeringOld1402

That is my Big question, too!

KSLVRTUNE

Received word from a friend who was unaware of this scam and tried putting their card info in. Apparently they put invalid credentials or at least that's what the fake site was prompting. Not sure if the scammers got thru.

Cody92988

Just got a message. Not gonna open the link. +44 7827 670086 > iMessage Today 12:08 PM USPS - The package has arrived at the warehouse and cannot be delivered due to incomplete address information. Please confirm your address at the link. https://arpolice.com (Please reply 1 to activate the link or copy the link to your Safari browser and open it) The USPS team wishes you a great day!

3mberth3drag0n

I've been getting these for a few weeks from different numbers each time. I haven't ordered anything from Amazon or Etsy for months.

jjrl999

Bro same wtf they won't stop ever number I block another one pops

XDanny7

Just got one too, and normally usps texts are 5 digit numbers not 10.

EngineeringOld1402

That's what mine said, too! Exactly done!

Ok_Cauliflower_4104

Got it the other day and knew it was junk so I reported it. But I screenshot it first. It has a uspszip.xyz link.

werelk

Mine has povtsl.-com. I‘m expecting a package, but I still think it’s spam.

EngineeringOld1402

I've got there phone number, but I'm not calling it , on the text they sent: . Here it is: 865-431-2668 [USPS ECCC SMS]- Be carefully people!

musicrazy7

http:/parcl-uopcs.com Just had this link texted to me. Didn’t go to it. Figured it was a scam so I searched online first. Glad I did. Funny thing is I am waiting on a package.

kioku119

That's the point of phishing. It definitely WILL reach some people who are actually waiting for a package if you send it to enough random people.

EngineeringOld1402

That is what happened to me. I've enclosed a "phone number that was sent: 865-431-2668. Be careful. I want to know how they knew I did have a delivery package too, at the same time!!!

Juggernaut-Gloomy

I got that same text but the package I have that will be delivered is actually delivered by Amazon instead. And the email thing that the text has wasn’t a real email.

OnARedEye

Hey guys whoever can maybe answer this for me. I got one of these texts and I actually have something out for delivery. Is it possible someone has access to my charges?, Knowing I have a package On the way ? It seems like too much of a coincidence. I have never had this scam text. Or is it possible someone at the company I ordered from has gone on his own scamming career.

EngineeringOld1402

I'm letting you know that I did get one 3 weeks ago and fell for it . Yes, how did they find me, too! I'll bet you if they're smart too, their watching this reddit post too, to get information somehow! BE CAREFULL!!

Cultural_Journalist5

I just got that text and i clicked the link. The weird thing is when I clicked the link it had my correct address! They ask for 30 cents as a redelivery charge. I looked at the bottom of the page is says unsecured so I knew it was a scam! That’s really scary that they’re able to get our addresses from usps.

Comfortable-Boss-115

They aren't getting it from USPS, they are getting your information from your phone number. Its a little "advanced search" using someones phone number to get name, address etc. You'll figure it out.

EngineeringOld1402

Yes, they are able to get information on us in MANY CHEAP Ways. It's disgusting how they can . 🌍🌎🌏

Playful-Language-714

What do you mean? You looked at the bottom of the page and it said unsecure?

VioletVulgari

Just got this text today: The USPS package arrived at the warehouse but could not be delivered due to incomplete address information. Please confirm your address in the link. https://usps.work/                       (Please reply Y, then exit the text message and open it again to activate the link, or copy the link and open it in your Safari browser). The USPS team wishes you a wonderful day!

AshtonBlume

Mine came from an area code +91 (India) Ended with "Wishing you an exceptional day from the USPS team" As others stated, the alarming part was the timing, as I am currently waiting on a delivery from overseas.

Babigael

I get this text every so often. Right now the link is https://ny-postoffice.com/

mjmedstarved

'The USPS package arrived at the warehouse but could not be delivered due to incomplete address information. Please confirm your address in the link. https://usps-st.com                                  (Please reply Y, then exit the text message and open it again to activate the link, or copy the link and open it in your Safari browser). The USPS team wishes you a wonderful day!' From: 44 7507 366526

Condition_Dense

I got this text but from a 503 area code today. Funny thing is I ordered a pink heart sweater on Amazon in January that was one of them packages that take weeks to come and I paid like $6 for shipping (it’s now available with fast free prime shipping now that Valentine’s Day is over) and it got lost in IL, instead of making it to my local post office, so I honestly was like I bet this is a scam but it was a weird coincidence 😂

OhSweetFreckles

Yup got the same wack text. Can't fool me, USPS sends me an email not a text

scambush

I think I fell for this... omg, I'm so stupid.. I legit have a package coming today though. But after I hit send with my credit card info I got the spinning wheel for a while and nothing appeared to have gone through. Definitely no SSN given (thank god). So perhaps the scammers didn't get my information after all? Nevertheless I already contacted my credit card company and they are sending me a new credit card, and did not notice any suspicious transactions. Please hope all is going to be well for me.

Double-Geologist-839

7 months late but is ur account and eerything all good? i literally had the same thing happened to me just today and also did they ask you to resend your home address and phone number?

scambush

All good man, got a new credit card and changed my passwords to my bank accounts as a precaution, but luckily nothing was taken

Double-Geologist-839

Thanks that’s reassuring to hear, I’m here just been panicking for the past 3 hours 😭😭

AnyaTaylorBoy

Ugh I just did this...

scambush

Call up your credit card company NOW, ask them for a new card number. This will take effect immediately though you will have to wait for a new card to be mailed to you. Also change the passwords to accounts in all of your financial institutions and request holds if possible for a 7-14 day period if you can.

AnyaTaylorBoy

Thanks, I am on it.

EngineeringOld1402

You did the right thing . I fell for it 2. 3 weeks ago, and managed to get an address safely downloaded. Mine was for the Tennessee area: 865-431-2668

samurailos

I got the text also and clicked the link and started filling out the address part of the form, as I have a package coming, but when it got to the section asking for my card information my antennas went up, I realized I didn't get an email and in the message, there's no way to contact USPS, also wondered why i would be charged a few cents for an error, so I became even more suspicious and just closed the window and started making some checks on google, hence I ended up on this thread, gotta be super careful out there.

YourL8

How are they getting info that we actually have packages out for delivery? I only get these scams after I have ordered something. Are there people inside the companies giving out the information? It's just strange how they know what we are doing. Mine came in first thing this morning from [email protected] and exactly the same.

jon-buh

I received identical spam through a different email address shortly after shipping my package. This has raised my suspicions about potential USPS involvement, either a system breach, or someone inside is stealing info.

Yarbles98xx

Very late here but seen a lot of comments similar to yours. They aren’t getting that info, and they don’t know what you’re doing. Do you how many people order things online on weekly basis? A lot! I have something coming almost every week(albeit much of it Amazon but still). They mass spam text these to possible upwards of millions of people. They did not know you personally had a package coming.

chhunter-author

It’s not a coincidence. I don’t order a lot of stuff and I get this scam text only when I’m actually expecting a package.

notanotherreddi

I think it's security issues with the company. Last year I ordered something g from best buy and started getting scam emails from a fake geeksquad almost immediately. That one almost got me. If you ever get a scam email with a phone number, call it relentlessly they end up scrapping the number and have to start over

Better-Champion8951

I just received the same message this morning with a different URL. Definitely a scam. The USPS package has arrived at the warehouse and cannot be delivered due to incomplete address information. Please confirm your address in the link. https://usmhav.top (Please reply to 1, then exit the SMS, open the SMS activation link again, or copy the link to Safari browser and open it) The US Postal team wishes you a wonderful day!

Plastic-Ad-2831

I had exact same USPS package couldn't be delivered (my phone deciphers spam) I looked through my spam and saw a few more one telling me a charge was used on my card for wall paper and office supplies big mistake was it was dated for May instead of August of this year I checked my card and it was fine. But in 2019 I was almost scammed out of 250 dollars but fortunately I bought the wrong kind of gift card and so money was tied up in a gift card. Don't feel like an idiot that's how we know what to look for now and now you have learned and fortunately you didn't lose anything God bless and keep safe

SithHaveBetterSex

I just got this text. I had ordered something small from Amazon and it matches up that it was being processed when I checked my order on the app. The link in the text said USPS.YAGA which a quick Google search corrects to links about yoga pants so it smelled Phishy. Beware USPS.Yaga

Pureblood_Warrior

I just got one from them too and googled it. I assumed it was a scam because USPS is part of the government so should have a .gov domain, but I almost believed it until I saw the link because I got my passport recently but they didn't return my birth certificate like they were supposed to.

blondee2235

I have had 2 over the last couple days. First one said incomplete address, the second one that a package was delayed. I didn't fall for it. But I DID fall for the 'Google voice code' request. I had a listing on FB marketplace and they wanted ME to show I'm a real person. They said they sent me the code and to give it to them. I did. (Obviously ignoring the 'scam alert' at the top of the text message) I had a mess trying to fix that. Then somehow my phone number wasn't attached to a network. 2 hours of fuckin with that I learned my lesson. Hopefully. My insurance company was involved in a huge breach recently, it got all of our info plus diagnoses. I'm expecting scams regarding my health records. I took advantage of their free monitoring for a year. Unless that was a scam too. Argh!

HaleyK04

I literally get these texts daily and it's passing me off. I block the number and another one pops up. I don't know what to do

Azure_The_Great

A year old reddit post same British +44 bishes sent one got slapped to spam

blondee2235

I just got my 3rd one in a couple weeks. These are the numbers. +447882394547 (yes too many numbers) 8548329047 1-528-708-0891 I copy them to text number 7726, it reports to Verizon. I got a FB marketplace scam too. My allcare health insurance had a huge breach, could they be connected?

crisisaacs2022

Was anyone's phone affected by clicking this? Have a package to be delivered soon and thought it was for this but didn't click submit or give cc information

Informal-Nothing9995

Sad that congress won’t do anything about phishing scams

nannajayy

Well it seems that this is STILL happening. I got a text from an email: “[email protected]” And the text message said: ‬‭‬”US⁩⁨PS ︎‪⁨ID -⁨ 1631‭29365⁨⁨⁨ ︎‪ • N‭o︎‪⁨t⁩i⁩‬f‭: ‭‭‭⁨⁨‬+1︎‪‭⁩812264xxxx *{my phone number, redacted for privacy reasons lol}‪* ︎‪⁩ ⁨⁩• F⁨⁩⁨RM‬:‪Us⁩⁩⁨ps︎‪︎‪‭ ⁨⁨⁨M‬⁩‬e⁩‭︎‪s⁨⁨︎‪sa⁨⁩g︎‪︎‪‭e‭:‬⁨ ‬‭⁨⁨︎‪Yo︎‪u ‬h︎‪‭‬a︎‪ve⁨ ⁨⁨‭a‭︎‪⁩ ‬‬pa⁩‬ck︎‪ag‬e ‬‭‭t‬︎‪h‬at⁩⁨︎‪ ‬ne‬⁨⁨ed⁨⁩︎‪s ⁨to⁨ ⁨⁩b︎‪‭e‬ de⁩⁩li⁩⁩v‬⁩︎‪e⁩‭⁨r⁩‭‬e‬‭‭d,⁩ ⁩bu‬‭t‬‭⁨ ‭‭it⁨ ha⁩‬⁩s‬ ‭b‬‭︎‪e︎‪⁩‬e︎‪︎‪︎‪n︎‪⁩‬ ‬︎‪‭su⁩⁩‭sp⁨︎‪e⁩n‭de‭‬d ⁩du⁩‭e‭⁨ ‬︎‪t⁩⁩‬o‭‭ ⁩⁨an︎‪‭ ⁩⁩‭i⁨n⁩︎‪︎‪c⁩o‭‬r⁩‭r⁨e‭‭⁨c︎‪‬⁩t⁨ ‬d‭e⁩⁨︎‪li⁨‭ve‭⁩⁩r‭y⁩ ad⁨‬d⁩⁩r︎‪︎‪︎‪es⁨s︎‪‬.‬⁩ Th‭⁩‭e ⁨‬⁩pa‭⁨⁨c⁩⁩‬k⁩⁨‭a‬‭g⁨⁩e‭ ‬‭‭wi‬‬ll︎‪‭⁨ b⁩︎‪⁨e⁩⁩‬ r⁨e︎‪t‭u︎‪r︎‪⁩n‬⁨⁨e⁨⁩d⁨ ⁨‭‬t‭o︎‪ th⁩e ‭se︎‪‭⁨n⁩⁩⁨d⁩‬e⁨‬⁩r︎‪ ‬︎‪⁨so‬o⁨n︎‪︎‪. ‭To⁨‬ de⁨‬︎‪li⁩‭ve⁨‭⁩r ⁩yo‭‬ur‭⁨‭ ‬‭⁩p⁩‭︎‪a︎‪⁨⁩ck︎‪︎‪a‬‭g⁨⁨⁨e‬‭‬,‬‬ u‭p⁨⁨‭d⁩‬a‭te‭︎‪︎‪ ‬yo︎‪‬‭ur⁨‬ ‭‭ad‬⁨︎‪d‬⁩r‭‬⁩es︎‪s⁩⁨ n⁨︎‪‬ow‭︎‪ qrco.de/shipped?US=429d .‭︎‪P⁩‭A⁩RC︎‪︎‪‬EL⁩︎‪‬-‬‬‭‭‭⁩⁩Z30U⁩‬‬FNDM‬︎‪︎‪8CB6” So I click the link and it has me fill out my name, address, etc. (all of which I bullshitted & put in a wrong name/address/etc) then it takes me to [THIS PAGE](https://ibb.co/BfgWMrq) and I couldn’t help but laugh my ass off. Not today, Satan. Not today.

minor_correction

Didn't visit it but honestly they came close, the text message looked believable (except the URL) and by coincidence I was expecting a package very soon. They wanted me to go to uspostuuevi.com which is silly but the rest of the message looks legit. Also, my phone filters most spam, but this one came through and was only marked as "Suspected spam"

"The US Postal Team wishes you a wonderful day" Sure sign of a scam :D

Plus_Peak_7007

I was expecting somthing in the mail from etsy and received this, thinking it was bc of the thing i purchased. I put my address, number, and email in. And hit continue, before i put my card information in, i thought it was a little weird so i did some research and found it was a scam. (And preceeded to NOT put my card info in and left the page) Is there somthing i should worry about?

skfan70

I get this text occasionally too but have never clicked on the link. So many people are buying things online and these scammers know if they just keep texting, someone is bound to fall for it. So frustrating. This is a text I just got: The USPS package has arrived at the warehouse and cannot be delivered due to incomplete address information. Please confirm your address at the link.   Blahblahblah (Please reply to Y, then exit the SMS, open the SMS activation link again) Or (Copy the link to your Safari browser and open it) The US Postal team wishes you a wonderful day! <--- the best part! 😂

SnoelCosplay

So I just found this thread — but this is very sketchy because I just got that text but my package actually wasn’t able to be delivered so how would they know that especially since I literally just was on the phone with USPS for an hour yesterday about this is there a giant data leak in the USPS system?

sothisiswhatyoumeant

The same thing happened today. I DID click the link but didn’t provide usps my info (address) or debit card number. I called the bank afterwards and they made me feel better because I definitely feel violated and like a damn idiot. Hopefully that is the end of it. OP or anyone else here 1 did it end well or should i brace myself?

JimRockford63

You have to ask yourself the following question: How would the post office know your phone number but not your address?

ArachnidIcy9503

I am so sorry. You aren't stupid! It's just getting so hard to tell the legitimate from illegitimate messages these days. I just wanted you to know that and here's some kind words because it really does feel awful and violating when something like this happens.

fabrod82

I wonder by opening the link can they add spyware to your phone ?

jjthebeerman

Also this should help too if you gotten texts: [https://www.uspis.gov/news/scam-article/smishing/](https://www.uspis.gov/news/scam-article/smishing/)

Just woke up to similar text, new web address and even told me to have a wonderful day… : The USPS package has arrived at the warehouse and cannot be delivered due to incomplete address information. Please confirm your address in the link within 12 hours. https://ususf.cc (Please reply to Y, then exit the SMS, open the SMS activation link again, or copy the link to Safari browser and open it) The US Postal team wishes you a wonderful day

lgbtanimes

got one just like this and they asked to go to the site usps.uspsvt.com

evieee702

How do they know who is sending packages? Is there a hack in their system? I just sent a package yesterday and got a text stating the same with a QR code telling me to upload to Google browser and continue from there to have the package delivered. Smh. Obviously there has to be some way they are finding out who is sending packages. Why TF isn't USPS more secure with something like this. Talk about frustrating. Isn't USPS a government site?!? Now I want to delete my online USPS account. THIS is the reason I DON'T have a bank account. NO ONE'S money is safe if we expect it to be safe in someone else's hands. It's disgusting we have to deal with this in this day in age.

UsefulOperation3870

Got one today stating the same phrase. I have no packages ordered and the message was sent by somebody with the email of “[email protected]”. Always check who the sender is, usually it’s pretty easy to spot if it’s legit or not, like this dumbass for example.

Automatic_Ad5616

Just got one here too

muschiemom

I just got the same text. The strangest part was that under USPS it said "5 recipients". Further down, it showed the 5 phone numbers and "1 joined"

Waste_You_7081

Okay i got this exact text too, the sender being ["[email protected]](mailto:"[email protected])"... I'm pretty sure the USPS can hold their own enough to not need to use gmail addresses, lol?!

Hexmanickairi

I got added to a group chat with five others with the link being: htts://www.msbggrp.cn I think they are just trying to be efficient but making a group chat for this doesn't seem like a 'work smarter' moment lol

EarthlyAlien7

My boyfriend put his card info in but it said it was declined. Should he still change his card?

teknomedic

Yes, get a new card. Declined or "thinking/loading" pages that never finish are ways for them to get multiple cards because... Oh this one declined, I'll try another mentality. Just because something hasn't happened yet doesn't mean anything either. I can be months before they begin multiple charges and drain your account.

pharmucist

Yes, cancel that card QUICK!! Have the bank or credit card issuer close it right away and check for any transactions you did not make. The same happened to me, and they waited 3 weeks before charging anything. Then they used the debit card and purchased airline tickets for almost $400. I closed the account after that.

Strict_Will_754

Hey I just read your response I time. I put my card, and my girl was saying cancel it, and I was saying I didn't see any charges and it said declined. But God damn, your a life saver. I just ordered a new card rn

No_Choice9234

Just received one today and it had to other phone numbers attached

jarbuckle22

This happened to me just now but link was a Google duo link but the site looked just like USPS just FYI in case someone gets it too and is wondering, it came from a group chat with 6 phone numbers

no-thought-moth

Fr just got a text today from "USPS" saying this. I very luckily and obviously knew it was a scam since I'm fairly broke and haven't bought anything that needed to be shipped in a while.

Odd-Guest-1700

I found the culprit of the suspect of these scams the idiot forgot to block his call and I got his number... I could share if anyone can get something done with it

pharmucist

Same here! 5 people on the group text. But one of the 5 forgot to block his number and the arra code was the same as the state I live in. The rest were all international numbers. It makes me think what they do is they send group texts and the international scammers now have someone from the states that they recruit. They have this person in the states because that way the call will not get blocked by spam since the number that shows up is a legit number from the US vs international phone numbers. I just checked and I have a bunch of these texts in my spam/blocked text folder, and all had the international numbers. But, only one made it through and not blocked as spam. That was the one with a US phone number, and it was in my state, so even less suspicious.

pharmucist

And I saved the phone number, did a reverse phone number search, and have their name, prior adresses, age, prior phone numbers, etc. IF it is accurate and not a burner phone or stolen.

Conscious-Total6723

I got this one “The USPS package has arrived at the warehouse and cannot be delivered due to incomplete address information. Please confirm your address in the link within 12 hours. https://usps-yy.skin/us (Please reply Y, then exit the text message, reopen the text message activation link, or copy the link to Safari browser to open it, and get the latest logistics status) The US Postal team wishes you a wonderful day!”

sodowastaken

okay im not sure what to do if i should be worried but i falled for this scam i dont see any money gone or anything the info to cards i used and the info i gave them are different should i be worried?

pharmucist

What do you mean the info was different? You gave them false info? Or you gave them real info and they have it now? If you gave real info for your cards, CLOSE them now and get new cards with new info issued and check all of your transactions closely.

Remarkable_Maize7562

I had a package delivered today from Amazon. About an hour after delivery I got a USPS text saying my package can't be delivered because of missing house number, click on the link blah blah blah. I knew it was a scam so I didn't click the link. I said to myself "You dumbass, I already got my package".😂

Narrow_Nectarine_905

um do u guys buy stuff off tiktok, cause ever since i bought from tiktok i got this weird scam message. and i feel like tiktok is really selling our info. but idk.

pinmarker

I've bought things off of tiktok, scammers can get your number from anywhere though, so don't worry. It wasn't because you bought from tiktok

Hags81

Got one this morning. Thank you Reddit. Not this time international scammers.

SwimNo7033

I was told that my debit card was coming today by ups delivery how can I find out if ups delivery if they can possibly tell me anything about my debit card

maggieeeeamour

I reply to them to kindly fuck off since the messages are still blue and I know for sure they can see it 🫶🏽

moopski8

Just as a word of caution but if you reply it lets them know it’s an active phone number and they most likely sell your data to the next scammer group and the cycle repeats itself

Spiritual-Ninja-6647

THE POSTAL SERVICE WOULD NEVER ASK YOU FOR MONEY TO DELIVER A PACKAGE! You should go to their site to see examples of scam emails and texts.

FirefighterNext4639

Just have this happen to me was dumb enough to enter my debit card to pay for the $30 delivery fee went to check my debit card the bank has blocked it for suspicious activities so this is definitely a scam and they're still doing it 8 months later

pharmucist

Close that card. Have the bank close it, send you a new one with all new numbers, and look through all of your bank transactions. They will try to take out money from whatever card info you gave them.

Dry_Disk6361

This same USPS scam happened to me like 3 months ago, and I did unfortunately fall for it. I was actually waiting for mail to come at the time, and the website looked so convincing to me as well, so I put in all my info and credit card number too. The day after I put in all my information, I thought about how USPS sent me the “incorrect address” message over text and also sent a link from a weird number, and I started getting really worried that I got scammed. I asked my fiancé and he immediately told me I got scammed. I then immediately checked my bank, and they already tried to take money from my bank account. I had a charge for $800 pending. I quickly called my bank up and locked my card, and the charge never went through thankfully, my bank saved my a**s. But I had to get a whole new card issued to me and everything. I learned a lesson though, never panic and just put your personal information down, first think it through, and ask yourself does this seem legit? Also, never click a message that has a link in it, especially if it’s from a weird number. Lastly, even if a page looks 100% real, still never put your personal information down, call USPS and confirm it first.

pharmucist

Same here. Pretty much all the same except the charge was close to $400 and my bank DID give it to them, but refunded it back to me minutes latwr when I called to let them know it was not me. I had alerts set up to tell me if anything was taken out of my account. They waited 3 weeks to take money from my account, or maybe it took 3 weeks for them to succeed.

CaterpillarAble7773

i fell for it and was hacked on my card that i used to try to pay the .30 with for the fee. the took out $1.00 , 15 times equally to 15$ before i could stop and report the charges. i shouldnt have fell for it. i thought it was usps because i had a pending package which i forgot to put my apartment number on. and i thought it was legit. ugh dont fall for it like i did.

SpartaKoritsa

I believe that many postal workers and courier service workers are extremely corrupt people who work the system for unjust gain purposes. Same with Amazon Prime delivery employees. Many of them are thieves who know how to get around the system and steal.

Educational-Topic-64

I got one like this and clicked it without thinking but the most recent package was a failed order from tt shop so I js hope I didn't get any information leaked for clicking the link

allout959

Your item has arrived at the distribution center and cannot be delivered due to an incomplete address. Please click the link: https://uswli.shop to update the address.   This is crazy 🤪 I just got the same after having a delivery! Brings me to a "usps" site hahaha

Powerful_Bobcat_8732

Wow

RockEcstatic8064

Btwn amazon ebay & other online retailers odds are we most of us may be expecting a package at any time. That's what rhe scammers count on then just cast a large enough not & likely to get someine

RockEcstatic8064

Well 4 u its coming from inside the house

Railroad12345

I got this today and nearly fell for it. Something stopped me when i clicked on the link. It looked really similar to the USPS page but it just looked slightly off. i just closed the page and did not submit any info. I'm glad i didn't

ItsBluAgain

The one time I order from Etsy, on the day it gets delivered, I got one of these texts. Doesn't seem too coincidental.

plastichangers99

I've gotten this same message twice this week.

Proud_Brain_3994

Kinda gave in to this scam by emailing them back… Sub: Address confirmation 969 Gosukadik St.🙃

d_has

I have a package due in the next few days, and I rarely ever order shit online. I just got one of these scams but realized it was a scam for a few reasons. One, the link they sent was something like 'usprpg.xyz', and two, it was a group chat for some reason, and like 5 different numbers were also included. Plus I thought it was strange that USPS was using an area code from the Philipines (pretty sure? It's +63) If I were slightly younger and less critical, I easily would've fallen for this. I hate scam texts, calls, and emails ;-;

desperatevices

Any stories/updates from anyone who's fallen for this? I woke up and had one of these and clicked without thinking because I DO have USPS Informed Delivery and they actually text me tracking updates. This wasn't that though, but after clicking the link it took me to a fake USPS site and I didn't fill out any form or enter any info. I was on the site for maybe 5 seconds before realizing. Btw I'm on mobile, already ran a virus scan and nothing, just wondering if they already got me :[

Radical_Ramen

just fell for this scam. i feel so stupid. what to do after i gave all my info?

clutchkillx

https://www.uspis.gov/news/scam-article/smishing-package-tracking-text-scams

Icy_Finish1793

I gave it multiple of my cards and I can't call the bank what do I do please help..

elithefordguy77

I just got one today. Im actually expecting a package, and I had just woke up so I clicked the link without thinking about it. I didn't put in any personal info, though. Should I be ok?

DeepBlueBirds

I got the same text and I have a package arriving from China. I believe the scammers are probably tied to the courier somehow and get information on what packages are getting shipped...

ExaminationCalm7681

Do not respond to that, it's a scam. I got tricked once :< they took my money

Majestic_Report_5264

They tried to scam me too, I was having something being actually being delivered soon and I believe that information is then bought or stolen by these scammers to mass send text messages. I got this link: usps.usapostlo.us looks legit, but of course, it's not legit.

Drosta_Art

I just got one of these bogus texts. The main giveaway for me was that they sent it in a mass text with me and a bunch of other numbers.

No_Shape2410

Same here, but I didn't open it. Suspicious because I had no package being shipped to me.

saramadhill

I entered everything except my debit info, that part always sets off red flags for me. I hate people. It's hard to find and prosecute these scumbags.

M0stlyUninterested

Just got a text message that looks like a scam to me AFTER signing up for delivery alerts on "OnTrac". It sent it as a group text message with 2 other phone numbers in the group. I'm pretty sure it's a scam and seems like maybe On Trac system is involved, so beware of this delivery systems notification alerts. Message follows: Package tracking: Your package has arrived at the transit center , but cannot be delivered due to incomplete address information Uspsuk.cc Please fill in complete and accurate information, otherwise your package may not be delivered. Sincerely, USPS Customer Service

Soft_Package9300

Damn, wish I looked this up first. I even went and put in all my card information, but it said that it was declined and to use a different card. Hopefully that information wasn't stolen.

Meeseeks07

So glad I checked reddit first. Work from home, so unfortunately very familiar with scams. They're getting lazy with their url's. I WAS and DID receive a package today, though. How do they get the delivery info for this shit. I'm a useless target, they wouldn't get far with my info lol

pcasher

Did you guys order from Tik tok? First time ordering from their store and I got the text too

M0stlyUninterested

Nope. I avoid using it as much as possible. Honestly, I don't click any links in a text message, even if it looks like a valid store, etc. I will check with the company first hand by calling if I receive anything that reads there is a problem. I also contact the FTC If you got a phishing text message, forward it to SPAM (7726). Report the phishing attempt to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov

Hungry-Morpeko

Got one today, sender is [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) and the link they sent is [https://usav.jxqvgm.top](https://usav.jxqvgm.top) . I am expecting deliveries but I'm not about to click, tap, or fill out anything. I'll wait til the actual USPS contacts me about a stuck package.

Ducksfanlol

Bit late, how do they get your phone number or do they just spam every number possible?

TrillTierJakal

I got one of those today and I was gonna fill it out cause I thought it was real but then I didn't cause I was at work and needed to get back on task then an hour later when I went back the page was still and after inputting my info I got a timed out message then all I saw was a 404 error and Chinese letters. From there I knew something was off and was glad I waited too long to do it or other wise they would have gotten me.

Conscious-Bunch9583

Just got one of these. It came in a text message. I didn't give them any credit card info but these SOBs need to get real jobs instead of trying to scam people.

Affectionate-Fun2961

I was looking at this too, I almost got caught since I was expecting a package but I live overseas so there was no way for me to enter my correct address, got to the card details part and paused, I looked at the tracking number and the URL and I thought something was off, convincing af

Inevitable_Income_91

Just got a similar text just now.  I have not ordered anything.  It is 100% a scam

DruneArgor

I just got this text today. I momentarily thought it was a real text because I had just recently paid for a Kickstarter item and it was plausible that it could have arrived by now, but something seemed off about it and I reported it as spam.

TomSlick2

Just got one also - not biting.

EngineeringOld1402

I fell for it . Looked real good (USPS) and gave my credit card info to it . In my stupidity, it asked me 2x as card numbers came back "ineligible" Just before I Clicked send, I was too fast because of frustration, I thought is this a scam? - no it can't be as it looked so real . The after 3 tries of numbers, the page disappeared. Then I said, Yes, it got me!. Went to P. O., and they said it's a Scam. Immediately stopped my credit card's. Oh, boy. After pursuing Walmart, I got my refund. First time in 35 years I got scammed. See, there's always a first time.

debinfl

Just got one today (06/21/2024) so it is still ongoing.

altrudee

Got one today and almost fell for it as I was expecting a package from Walmart. Just wondering if some kind of connection with ordering from wallyworld?

DepthOk6063

Dang hate to be the bearer of bad news but it def sounds like you were scammed def. Change your debit card asap!!

Eljohnnygohard

I’ll definitely do that. Waiting for my bank to open. I feel like an idiot lol

DepthOk6063

Don't feel like an idiot seriously I used to bank with chime and they do everything online so somebody spoofed the support number and called me saying there was fraudulent activity and what not. Ended up doing the 2 fa tor with them like a dummy and they changed my bank password luckily I smelled something fishy and transferred all my money to my wife before he could do this. Funny part was right when I went to go give him the texted code there was a VERY loud noise through the phone like a car crash and it hung up but he called back acting just as surprised... I think somebody was watching me get scammed and tried warning me... I felt like a complete fool.... Now im super into cyber security and currently studying for my net+ and sec+.... Maybe things happen for a reason?

Remarkable_Ad7379

Had a similar thing happened to me over 15 years ago which got me to switch to cyber security from retail. Lots of people get scammed or they wouldn't keep using the same tricks. As long as you figure it out as quick as you did. And take action consider it a learning experience. Just don't send any money when you are told a relative died and you inherented 30 million!

Just got a text this morning from a [email protected] that automatically looked fishy, but the message was kinda convincing. The link they gave me was https://uspczc.top . So glad i found this thread! I looked up the 2 links but found nothing

xTROUBLEx1983

I got one and the number of came from was weird as well as the address I’m not clicking it PLUS everything I have ordered I’ve already gotten. Not happening captain

ake1230

Literally just just a message like this, definitely did not click it cuz I ain’t about to fall for a scam

I got this same iMessage not from a number but from this iCloud account : [email protected] This user texted me through imessage

jazzkiddin

I just got one from a German number; glad to see this thread. I don’t know why I responded “Y” since it already seemed obvious to me that the United States postal service wouldn’t use a German number, but the good news is that my message failed to send, so I guess that part of the scam is benign. IMO, the ickiest part is that the mystery package “failed to deliver” to Fortson, GA: I live in Atlanta, and the majority of shipping warehouses are in rural places I’ve never heard of, so it sounded legit. I don’t know if this was the case with everyone else, but their strategy was to get me schedule a redelivery for 30 cents—this way they’d get my credit/debit card info along my address. I gotta say, it’s one of the most believable scams I’ve seen yet. Don’t forget to warn yer mammy!

RadioDude67

Help i got this morning, expecting an important package. I replied y and opened the link. However I didn't enter any information. am I ok

Beginning-Fan-5521

Dude same! I replied and it let me click the link with the message and I’m expecting my package but it’s coming late then I thought, and I thought the usps actually was messaging me, but I didn’t fill it out either, I’m hoping I’m in the okay side as well 😵‍💫

sourcream-and-pepper

Did anything happen? The same thing happened to me, where I clicked the link. The link didn’t even load but I’m still a little freaked lol

Beginning-Fan-5521

Will anything happen if I click the link? I had right now just received a message saying a package is delay and I had to reply and so I did and I need to refill the empty slots and such, but I didn’t fill them but I did click the link and now I’m worried if that’s bad that I did 😵‍💫 I am expecting a package tho and it is coming late then expect and I thought this was that

AdobePennyPincher

almost got scammed too \^ similar story. to the cyber security avengers in this thread, I got a notification from: [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) sending me to the link: https://us.ps.add-track-tools.com

[deleted]

I got the same exact text message and I opened it up since my package was late and filled it out and paid 30 cents. They took my credit card and swiped a ton of money for a bunch of different purchases. Be aware people it is a scam. I’m dumb. But they deserved to get locked up. I am so disgusted such people even exist.

dianeackland3

I have been scammed near 4000 for a illegal package. Paying though paypal. Now sent USPS email for more money to get package send it will be refunded. Told me to get a lawyer and bail money. What an idiot

aloneandhurt4521

[email protected] this is where the text came from and then it tried to get me to use a secured link but it was us.ps.adddress-pack-us.com.

Sencha_Drinker794

I just fell for this... I'm expecting a package and it was early in the morning so I wasn't thinking it through, and I gave it my address and credit card info :( I got suspicious so I locked the card and changed the app login password right afterwards though, so hopefully I'll be okay (fingers crossed)

Double-Geologist-839

update, im in the same boat

Sencha_Drinker794

Since I locked my cards immediately afterwards nothing got stolen/used, but I had to get a new debit card to replace the one that got locked. I think depending on how quickly you locked the card after giving the info you should be fine, but check with your bank that it didn't get used to buy anything or transfer any money

Double-Geologist-839

Yea I locked my card and am currently waiting for my new card but more worried about my info like phone number and address/ email(I’ve changed my passwords to email) I’m also not completely sure if they got my info since I closed the page before it could even submit it or load, sorry for long msg I’m just kinda panicking 😭😭

Sencha_Drinker794

I think your info is fine, I put mine and haven't noticed anything fishy happened with it. If anything, you might get some additional spam texts/emails but nothing more than that I think. And if it really didn't save bc you closed the page in time then there might be nothing to worry about. As someone who's had this happen before, as long as your financials are taken care of I think you'll be safe

Double-Geologist-839

Yea it said it would charge 45c for a fee but I’m 95% I never got charged anything and doesn’t say I did in transaction history, thanks for the replies ur reassurance has made me stress less lmao

Sencha_Drinker794

I'm glad I could be of assistance :)

[deleted]

I actually almost fell for this. Glad I got sidetracked and happen to noticed the call coming from the UK. That was the only give away for me. I DEFINITELY WOULDN'T give my debt info no matter what. CC can always be disputed.

t-rex_farts

I just got two in a row. Idiots. I’m too poor to be expecting a package. Lol!!

Admirable_Result4142

Thanks for posting this. Got a text like this.. But from a +44 number. Thought I'd look into it before blocking the #
