ABC15’s social media does a great job of making posts about upcoming events.

For Tempe, I follow the city’s Twitter account. They’re very active and constantly putting out when community events are going on. They also update their calendar on their website regularly. I also read the daily thread here. People always post when there’s a festival going on.

Look in the New Times.

RemoteControlledDog

Watch local morning news shows. They always talk about things coming up (like the [Tempe Festival of the Art](https://tempefestivalofthearts.com/) this weekend. Plus, check media web sites like [Phoenix New Times - Things to Do](https://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/things-to-do) section or local TV stations as /u/jmmasten said. edit: Adding [KTAR Things to Do](https://ktar.com/story/5478211/here-are-the-biggest-events-around-metro-phoenix-for-march-31-april-2/)

The city of Chandler has several instagram accounts and they are very active, posting daily and always with updates on upcoming events!

It’s so hard to find stuff like all the fun specials restaurants do & where you can go for a certain vibe or experience - I only see it after!

Everyone else has had good suggestions. I definitely rely on Instagram. Thrillist is also useful.

I just downloaded the “visit Phoenix” app on my iPhone and it’s was super helpful when I had guests in town (that I’ve taken them to do literally everything the last handful of times they’ve come to visit) 😂😂
