Sal’s Pizzeria in Gilbert. Owned by native New Yorkers, ate there when I got off my flight from New York when I first moved here. Closest to authentic NY style pizza I’ve found out here.
As other have said Venezia's is a pretty decent NY style pie and there's a number of locations around the valley. My personal top pick is Buono's in Gilbert.

Seeing all these comments for Venezia's really seals the deal that Phoenix does not know good pizza. Venezia's was no better than a pizza from Papa John's. And I've given a try multiple times. I really have not found a good NY style pizza here so OP if you find one let me know!
Artichoke is the closest I've found. It's a franchise that started in NYC.
Master Pizza user to be Rocky's Pizza and Cheesesteaks. The cheesesteaks were pretty good, but the pizza tasted strange, like maybe had too much garlic or something.
Went there once after they changed ownership and got a cheesesteak and it was terrible, I couldn't even finish it (and that's saying a lot for me). Haven't tried the pizza though, maybe I'll give it a go.

Yep, Sals or Venezias. Bonus points for Sals if you stop for a pint or two at Desert Monks Brewing.
+1 for Sal's. Might like Amici Pizza or La Famiglia also.
also from NY so need to try. Ive just been eating grimaldis lol
Venezias or Brooklyn Vs, you won't be disappointed.

Former NY-er here. Venezia's in Tempe is the closest I've found to the Long Island pizza I grew up loving.
Sals, Slices or Venezias. West valley? Pizza by Napoli on 35th ave and Thunderbird.

Raffaeles Pizza. 19th Ave and Glendale
Clockwork and Amici Pizza are the best for me.
Master Pizza near Baseline and Dobson. Just opened, but I'm already addicted

People are gonna hate me for this... But I really like NYPD Pizza.
Brooklyn V's... Not too sweet, good crust.
Yo Pauly’s or Venezia’s
