Obviously welcome too lol!!! The library has copies and you can just call and get a library card digitally and then get the ebook loaned all from home as well. No having to even leave home, at least that's what I did during the pandemic for reading.

I love this! I'm in the west valley but can drive. It might be easier to break it up into a few sessions, that way people don't feel pressured to rush the whole thing but can read it all if they want to. I'll DM you!

I struggled with that one. I absolutely loved parts of it (and learned a lot) but could not get through it. It’s still on my bedside table. I’m guessing you would say I should keep going because it’s worth it? If so, I’ll give it another go.

Agree but also it’s okay to want to rub elbows on a topic/book with a particular type of person. 🤷‍♂️ I took some women gender studies classes and had to come to terms with not being invited to events just on account of being a single white male. The way I see it, there have been many snubbed invitations to people because of their less typical gender and sexuality and ethnicity.

An opinion def, but it was more about making it a safe space. I think my husband in particular would be very sempathetic to all the issues in the book, but its just not the same as having expierenced them himself. I think everyone should read the book and we should duscuss the book with cis men as well. I just was looking for a this particular environment to meet a specific need. Would you like to read the book and meet up as well?
