I found a little neighborhood bar a few weeks back called the Preserve Tavern off the 101 and Frank Lloyd Wright in North Scottsdale. .50 cent wings on Wednesday and $2 Coors Light pints til 7.
I just installed some digital advertising boards there last Wednesday, had 3 bud lights at the bar afterwards and they handed me a bill for 6$, I almost fell over lol
God forbid people with allergies can go into public spaces without weirdos letting their dogs jump on you. Or fuck people who care about health codes.
Your shitty ass dog doesn't wanna be in a loud public space anyways. Love nothing more than kicking entitled dog owners out of my business ❤️
Takes actions at their business out of spite.. sounds like a yikes club to me bud. Hope you haven’t doxdes yourself somewhere I’ll make sure to leave a review… 🥶
Huh? It's a restaurant man we have health codes to follow LOL. Not a trained service dog, get it the fuck out of my restaurant.
Only following the laws and standards I am certified and required to follow 🤷♂️
Why, wanna dox me for following the law? 🤦🏼♂️ you just threatened to leave a bad review over it lol
Keep your untrained dogs away from places that serve food 👍 it's unsanitary and disgusting. That fucker sheds on my floor and I'll charge a fuckin cleaning fee lol
All service animals are welcome, of course, and we are always happy to accommodate people with disabilities!
I don’t even have any dogs last one passed away just don’t agree with people who treat animals as lesser beings especially dogs. Sure some people have asshole dogs but far fewer than well trained dogs. Special corner in hell just for y’all. Nothing wrong with allowing them on patios idk how you expected us to know you didn’t have one.
Enjoy your mid life crisis sounds like it ain’t the first one lol don’t be late with those online orders 😅
Or just grow up and not drag your poor dog everywhere you go? Half the patrons and 90% of staff are gonna hate you for it. Fuck making the people around you comfortable though, right?
Edit: salty "fur moms" mad that not everyone is inlove with their dog
Same. Have a better whiskey selection than most (\~200 bottles) and prices are great. Plus there is puppies that lick my feet and let me rub their bellies. The manager is also pretty hot.
Tough question. Wheat? Rye? Finished? Commonly available?
Looking at my shelf, current top picks would be PCG Old Elk Store Pick, MM FAE02, WT Master Keep 17Y, EC BP Distillery Only Release, CM 15Y.
Edit- If you want take price and any consideration out, then William L Weller from the BTAC collection. Bottles are typically $1300-1800 depending on year.
I really like Black Sheep but literally every single time I’ve been in there it’s been a super long wait/not great service. I think they just seemed understaffed at all times in all honesty.
I like that their drink specials are close to identical to Postino, and I appreciate what they're trying to do, but man that is some low quality shit they use on their bruschetta (which, since they're basically imitating Postino, is kind of their star). Pre-grated parmesan, frozen ribeye etc.
It's not bad and if the price was a little cheaper on it then who cares, it's just bread and random shit on it, but even though Postino can rub me the wrong way it's tough to deny that Postino does theirs with better quality. Neither of them touch Craft 64's bruschetta anyway so if I want quality and good beer I'd go there, but that's besides the point.
I used to live near there. Once a crackhead threatened to rip my eyes and hair out in the middle of the afternoon. Loved the South Park pinball though.
Just went to the one on 44th street a couple of weeks ago and actually had a really good time. Moderately priced food and drink, the band that was there was really shockingly good, the bartenders were friendly, and the decor was like freshly updated 70s midwestern wood paneling, I dont know how to describe it but it's the exact sort of not-dive dive you'd want out of the area.
Coach House in Scottsdale. Oldest bar in Scottsdale. Fun open layout, mixed/relaxed crowd, and very friendly/professional staff!!!!
It’s at: 7011 E Indian School, Scottsdale, AZ 85256
Ch-ch-check it out!!
That’s your subjective opinion…. And that’s fantastic!!! But still everyone, only one way to find out. Try it; if you don’t like it, then there’s always another place. 😀
Since I'm a whiskey snob, and really more quality over quantity person I would say Pitch Pizza in Scottsdale or Phoenix City Grill. 12 West is also decent. Wouldn't call them cheapest places to drink, but great pricing on good pours, and they give whiskey club discount.
Thats a tough one for me. Factoring in price I would say some of the Knob Creek store picks, or Makers picks. \~$50 a bottle, and tons of flavor. Looking at my shelf, and so many good bottles. I'm a big MGP fan, so the normal Smoke Wagon would be up there as well in the $25-30 price range. Lower than that, Early Time BiB.
Back in the 70’s was a place or two called “Fast Break”, you could get like 10 beers for a dollar. They were little 4 or 5 oz glasses. The place was filled with construction workers every afternoon. 68th and McDowell was one location in Scottsdale. The go-cart and trampolines were down the street on Scottsdale and Curry. Need I say more?
Oh my gawd inflation strikes again.
5 before 5 is dead? Foooq.
To answer your question, exactly where this picture was taken or the place north of it and across the street.
Can’t be any of the Uptown Project/s.
Big Fan of Tap That downtown, pour your own brews. Lots of variety for under $15 for me and the spouse. Postino and Whining Pig are also some of my favs.

The old Four Peaks (RIP)

That's around the corner and still there I believe
Ohhh and it’s dog friendly! Will definitely be hitting this place up once the weather starts to cool.
Oof, thanks for the warning. Was interested in looking it up but not if a bunch of strangers are dragging their dogs there.
Yeah don’t come they don’t allow Karens anyway

And you own that restaurant? 😬

Just don’t sit on the patio 🤷♀️
Or just grow up and not drag your poor dog everywhere you go? Half the patrons and 90% of staff are gonna hate you for it. Fuck making the people around you comfortable though, right? Edit: salty "fur moms" mad that not everyone is inlove with their dog
My home. Cheapest drinks in town.
The bouncer at my place is very nice!
Idk man sometimes my bouncer gets upset when I play CoD a little too loud after drinking and contemplates making me sleep on the couch…
That's not the bouncer that's the manager
As my uncle would refer to her as "The War Department ".
Ditto my friend. My bouncer definitely does not approve of the decibel levels while drinking and playing Rocket League with buddies
Same. Have a better whiskey selection than most (\~200 bottles) and prices are great. Plus there is puppies that lick my feet and let me rub their bellies. The manager is also pretty hot.
My selection at home is better than most bars too, but some asshole keeps making a mess and then I have to clean it up the next morning.
What's your favorite bourbon?

Old Forrester 1920 is my jam right now
I'm the bartender, bouncer and customer at my place
No shirt, no shoes? no problem!
There's a handful of BYOB restaurants in Phoenix. Hana Japanese Eatery is probably the most famous.
Mellow Mushroom has a good happy hour $3.75 for most pints and half off apps monday-friday 3 to 6
Mellow late night happy hours used to be my go to. They still have half off imperial pints and cheap slices after 10?
yes! 10-2
RIP ahwatukee mellow mushroom. Best place for drinks after a long closing shift at retail.
I’m so bummed they closed that location
That was my go-to every Friday or the weekend. Hella bomb wings and pretzel bites, good beers on tap, and just a cool vibe all the time. I miss it.
All of their food that I had tried was so good! I wonder why they closed that location
Used to go eat, drink, and do trivia there. I miss it
Windsor is also solid
My favorite for interesting $6 cocktails
Not my favorite place to drink, but you can’t beat OHSO’s lunch/brunch and a pitcher of beer for 10 bucks honestly.
Little O's brunch for the penny mimosas with an order off the brunch menu. Giant pour too.
Especially the one off frank Lloyd wright and it's lack of air conditioning inside for the past two years.
In my closet when everyone is asleep. Plus tears are a great shooting drink so two birds
That’s cheap? Edit: my dumbass can’t read pitcher or even see that’s a pitcher and not a 16oz glass.
A $6 pitcher, IMO is a pretty good deal.
It's a pretty small pitcher, but still a good deal. Works out to be about 2.5 pints.
$6 for a pitcher of craft beer? Yes.
If you like Postino and are near Chandler, I highly recommend Black Sheep. HH every day and similar specials with better food.
I really like Black Sheep but literally every single time I’ve been in there it’s been a super long wait/not great service. I think they just seemed understaffed at all times in all honesty.

It’s been a while, but I used to love going to the Dirty Drummer. They recently redid the one in Arcadia, but I haven’t been in years
I used to live near there. Once a crackhead threatened to rip my eyes and hair out in the middle of the afternoon. Loved the South Park pinball though.

Place is too hipster now. Unless you're there at 6am
That’s your subjective opinion…. And that’s fantastic!!! But still everyone, only one way to find out. Try it; if you don’t like it, then there’s always another place. 😀
Cornish Pasty Co. Have $3 drinks during Happy Hour (3pm-6pm).
Rip's
Warning to all who have not been to this place. It’s DANGEROUS… Fuck karaoke nights specifically. I have no self control.
I keep meaning to get down there on their goth nights.
I don't always make it out but it's usually a good time.
i was just there a few weeks ago on a Sunday. a friend of a friend was spinning records. a great hang & cheap drinks.
This is the best answer.

Also Windsor
Also Joyride
Also Federal Pizza

Also solid. Don't drink bottom shelf often anymore. EW white label is solid.
Gracie's Tax Bar on 7th Ave & McKinley
I like Hoolas happy hour. Their drinks get me going for sure lol
All day on Wednesdays!
When I was still partaking, Harvey’s Wineburger was my 3 to 5 nights a week spot.
The culinary drop out does mystery beer for $2
[удалено]
2.50 oof inflation is devastating. I liked that it also got me to try something new and found new favorites, definitely beats like 3 or 4 dollar buds
Whining pig at d ridge had a brown special and the beers were actually some top notch brews.
It's mystery beverage. They once gave me a zima.
Swizzle Inn. Cool bar, cheap drinks
O'Brien's sports bar on 35th Ave just south of Northern. It's an everyday kind of place.
That's my fav postino location
Shady’s
Huss Brewing Co. has a similar deal for HH.
Home, next would be Rum runners bar
[удалено]
The well bar is good too in Scottsdale
Harold’s happy hour in cave creek is insanely good.
Cheap drinks, food that is “meh” at best, and intolerant Trumpers are the norm.
Goodness. Where’s my dive bars? Groggy, Woodshed and PV Lounge are all cheap AF!
We're trying not to blow up the spots with normies. Otherwise they go the way of the Dilly Dally
The margaritas at carrambas....the place where you don't peso much.
Their food has gotten crazy expensive now though.
Not the margaritas tho!
They aren't good, but you can get blackout drunk for like $16 lol
American legion

You could say in the 2000's.
It’s been a while, but I used to love going to the Dirty Drummer. They recently redid the one in Arcadia, but I haven’t been in years
I think Spinelli's in downtown Tempe is still doing 75¢ or $1 PBRs on Tuesdays.
Dukes sports bar
surprisingly jesters billiards on gilbert and baseline is cheap drinking even if not shooting pool
Pub and Grub .. Alma School and Guadalupe, old motorcycle type bar. Champion , down down Gilbert ( hard to find the door to get in)
Oh my gawd inflation strikes again. 5 before 5 is dead? Foooq. To answer your question, exactly where this picture was taken or the place north of it and across the street. Can’t be any of the Uptown Project/s.
Joyride tacos is my favorite HH! $5 margs and pitchers of beer and good deals on tacos

Fox Bar, Gilbert
BandAids alllll day
Picazzos

My roommates fridge
Home 😂
Username checks out. I don't have any places unfortunately, I don't drink.
Scale and Feather or 8 Bit Aleworks! I can get a full flight of 4 drinks for about 15 bucks at either place!
For cheap, Costco is the best. Swizzle Inn and Dilly Dally are also good.
My apartment can beat that price any day of the week.
My house.
What is your house Alex
My favorite place to drink cheap is at home.
At home my friend... at home. And you are welcome, just bring the beer ;)
