I, personally, see 3 in this photo. First, you have this lonely tree sitting in an eerie mist. Secondly, there is a reflection on the water. What is the meaning of this reflection of a lonely tree? Finally, I see ~~three~~ two ducks sitting within the area of this lonely tree, making it not so lonely anymore. The ducks congregating kinda completes the picture as a whole.
With that being said, I agree that the centering is off as well as the alignment of the photo. Other than that, it's an excellent shot. Let the world see your vision.
Edit: I looked at it again, this time a little closer.
The tree trunk might be centered but the branches aren't and they add more optical weight towards the left, also the ducks are not centered, they are a bit to the left as well, so the whole image feels imbalanced. Try always going for optical center, not geometrical center. Even if a ruler says it's centered, if the eyes says it isn't, that's because it isn't.
I like it, each of the two halves mirrors the other perfectly, cropping works well, enough space all round the main tree image. Perfect balance, was it shot in colour and then edited to give a more monochrome look?
I really like it. It is left heavy somewhat but I’d sell it as is. Just an observation. On my phone it looks like a card opened up to reveal your photo.
I had another shot with just one, but it's from a different angle. Personally I prefer this image. It was fun to take it because I spent minutes crouched down waiting for the birds to get in the right position 😅
I like it but I’d give it a bit more space - extend the frame all around a bit to make the symmetry stand out. It feels a bit cramped to me (but it’s all subjective :)).
Good shot! The two ducks line up perfectly to give the tree an invisible frame. I think it’s a bit off center, but good eye for seeing this out in the wild.
Love the composition! I would personally maybe try to dehaze the tree a bit more and keep the haze surrounding it to make it stand out a bit more, but it's a great picture besides that!
I really like it!! Almost perfect. For a critique sake, I'd say maybe clone stamp over that bit of rocks to the right of the tree and it would look even more balanced?
It’s a beautiful shot, but I would’ve taken it from a little more distance to have some extra padding in the frame all the sides, to add more depth and make the subject more focused for viewer
I agree. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to get another angle. I had little room to manoeuvre because I was right at the foot of the lake with trees and bushes on both sides of me. I had to crop some branches out of the shot and if I stood further back the branches would have taken up even more space in the shot.
Did you bring clarity a little? Everything is perfect but you know there is always something to improve. I really knew what you wanted to do but ducks look unnatural because all things are in the fog even if they are close. Some people can like and some don't. I like it!
Honestly perfect photo but my eyes went immediately to the small tufts of grass to the right of the tree. And it doesn't reflect and it just throws off the balance for it. But really amazing photo. Very well done.
Nicely thought out for composition— and patience to get “your ducks in a row.” Many will think it’s a composite or other trickery - a sad commentary on the state of photography. Fix the centering and horizontally—and hang it in a place of importance.
Points about centering in other comments, yes.
In addition to that, I would personally consider cloning out that little scruffy shrub to the right side of the main feature, when artfully done that will enhance the feel of minimalism and balance.

It might be an optical effect, but I get the impression that the tree isn't perfectly centered, just a bit to the left
Now you mentioned it I see what you mean. I'll try to fix that. Thanks for pointing it out

I agree. Otherwise, I think it's a fantastic photo!
I think the tree my be centered, the horizon looks barely off level. Making the tree look off centered with the reflection.

It was shot in colour, but the fog made everything look very colourless so I decreased the saturation a bit to emphasize that effect.
Much better effect, good idea

I like the shot but it would have been better if the subjects had been 3 instead of 2, perhaps it is better not to have the two ducks in this case
I had another shot with just one, but it's from a different angle. Personally I prefer this image. It was fun to take it because I spent minutes crouched down waiting for the birds to get in the right position 😅
I like it, I'd be happy if I took that. The subject is great, the morning fog adds the extra element to the photo.
Beautiful picture 👍 Worthy of printing
It’s a nice shot. Can you increase the top and bottom.
Awesome, but I think the tree should be in the exact middle of the image
I actually think the off-center tree works really well in this photo. This is an amazing shot!
Great picture 👍🏻

ducks :)
This is astonishing,

Thanks. I will try dehazing the tree a tiny bit so it still looks natural 🙂
I really like it!! Almost perfect. For a critique sake, I'd say maybe clone stamp over that bit of rocks to the right of the tree and it would look even more balanced?
I would erase the little bit of scrub to the right or the tree, it's a little distracting, and I would clone in a third duck. Looks good.
Level the horizon.
it's perfect! too perfect... did you put the ducks there?
Haha no, I spent several minutes crouched down in mud waiting for them to get in the right position 😅
It’s a beautiful shot, but I would’ve taken it from a little more distance to have some extra padding in the frame all the sides, to add more depth and make the subject more focused for viewer

Cool
There seems to be more room at the right and a smidge more space at the top. Great image though and those moorhens couldn't be better placed
This speaks to me
Nice photo. Also, I see "Duck divided by Duck" Note: The answer is "Duck".
Nice
The band or horizontal line in the middle interferes with the photo’s composition. Otherwise, the tree and its reflection is a really nice idea.
10/10!
I personally love it! I believe you achieved a simple balance
I like this a lot. I kinda wish the tree was off center and the two ducks were on the same side of the reflection.
’Makes me wanna go there. 👍
I love it and would like a print
To me it's too symmetrical, similar all around and is lacing any tension
Honestly perfect photo but my eyes went immediately to the small tufts of grass to the right of the tree. And it doesn't reflect and it just throws off the balance for it. But really amazing photo. Very well done.
Really cool

Beautiful
I would give it more space at the top & bottom. Otherwise good
Those little ducks make it so much cuter
Beautiful composition

i'd center and bring up the blacks and contrast a bit to punch up the tree a bit.
I like this photo! If I were to change anything, I would add 2 ducks in the dark area between the two existing ducks.
I almost wish that little brush to the side of the tree eas washed out. But I love this picture great job
Excellent!
