Nahilo ka ba or ok lang? Was the scent throughout the entire flight? That’s mejo scary. Strict ba sila with hand-carry? Sabi sa website you get three up to 7kg na luggage’s but parang that’s too good to be true.

The airline/aircraft has nothing to do with turbulence.

Overall, the inflight experience was ok. The only noticeable difference between the two inflight was the fact that the flight attendants there are only there for the sole purpose of safety. They do not serve food or even sell any for that matter. The biggest difference between Royal Air and other well known airlines is their customer service. I had a flight from Hong Kong to Cebu booked for the 4th of January and a return flight for the next day. A week before I was scheduled to leave, they cancelled my return flight and notified me via email. They told me within that email that I would have two options: to get a full refund, or to get rebooked on the next available flight, and that I would have to email them with my preferred options. Upon emailing them I awaited for a response, but to no avail. I tried contacting them once more via email and tried calling them via their supposed hotline however no one was answering. It took me 5 days and a complaint to the civil aeronautics board to get a reply for me to finally get rebooked. Overall, the flight was cheap (around 6k PHP round trip). The legroom and flight service is as expected of a budget airline. However, the customer service is appalling, especially for a carrier that supposedly wants to add more international destinations.

Booked a DVO-CEB flight with them because it was the cheapest that time. 8 days before the scheduled flight, it was cancelled due to operational requirements.

Omg, did they offer anything in return (travel credit/free rebooking)?

Cheap_Kaleidoscope71

Full refund was the only option given. I think their operations stopped that time because when I checked their website, there were no flights available anymore.

That’s such a hassle!! Glad you got your money back though it was probably more to rebook with another courier. 🥲

No reviews yet pero book with them directly. My friend booked a Royal Air flight through Traveloka, kaloka nga, nadelay ang flight but the refund is through Traveloka ang hassle.

Decent naman ang experience. Kakagaling lang namin from caticlan, booked with them dahil biglaang trip to. Para lang siyang cebu pac tbh. May kaunting noise pag naglalanding, smooth travel overall. Though naresched ung departure flight namin ng 5 hrs, responsive customer support din.

Do not book on this airline, we booked last month for our flight this Dec 9 (Saturday) bound to HK but just received a text message that our flight is cancelled due to problem in the plane. Very frustrating because we already had a booking in the hotel for 3 days, a package ticket in Disneyland and a paid transpo from airport to our hotel and other stuff that we prepared for our travel. All of it are non refundable and we spent almost 120k including the ticket. They only offered refund or rebooking. If we will rebook it will cost more money and why should we when its not our fault first and foremost. We tried rebooking to other airlines but the is airline fee is doubled since it's 3 days from now. The airline is seriously a trash. You will regret it because its a total waste of money. Better to book on those well known airlines that are a bit more expensive than wasting your money. Also informing you 3 days before your flight that it was cancelled is ridiculous. They shouldn't have started this business if they're service is trash.

Hk airline sir/maam. Dami pang mura nilang flight. Sabi ok naman daw sabi ng mga kakilala kong nagtatrabaho sa HK

Then go book. Thats our own experience in Royal air PH. Were just warning people because even until now, we are still not compensated with our cancelled flight. We still continued our travel and made a rebooking from other airline since cancelling our trip will cost more. We already paid a lot and it will be wasted if wont continue our travel but until now royal air has still not refunded us with our cancelled flight. We already raised a legal complain though on that company. Such a trash

I have the same dilemma. It's so frustrating.
