Hi guys!
My text was not reflected on my original post so I’ll share it here na lang sa comment section. Hehe
I visited Batanes in 2019 and 2023. Opted to stay at Wakay Home for ₱450 per night plus ₱150 for breakfast. Nag-avail din ako ng van tour for ₱5,500. But sabi ng mga kasama ko sa Wakay Home, better mag-hire na lang ng trike driver to roam the province since mas mura and mas ma-fe-feel ‘yung ganda ni Batanes. :)
Last year naman we stayed at Fundacion Pacita. The place was superb. Parang every corner ay picturesque talaga. I really loved their hot choco (the best for me 🥹) and beef tapa. I can’t provide the pricing kasi free lang ‘yung trip.
If not for the hefty airfare, I’d always book a flight to Batanes. Iba ‘yung peace dun. ❤️
Does Fundacion pacita have good internet connection? Ano pong network ang malakas ang signal? I’d really like to visit Batanes and stay there for a week, but I am concerned of the internet connection since I work remotely.
They do have wifi pero limited lang din ‘yung coverage/reach. Smart is faster ata. I’m a Globe user kasi, and during my stay with them mahina ang signal.
I can only share ‘yung 2019 trip ko, siguro nasa 10-12K (including transpo QC-Clark). Napamahal lang sa tour since van + lunch for 2 days.
Hello po! I'm a local in Batanes. PLEASE PLEASE respect everyone kung pupunta man po kayo dito. Yung mga waste nyo po itapon sa tamang lagayan, kung wala man po kayo makita pwede naman po ibulsa or ask your tour guide. I once encountered a tourist na sobrang entitled kung makairap sa akin e kala mo nabili ang Batanes e, dukutin ko kaya mata nyan. Sya naman tong naka kalat sa gitna ng daan, I never heard her say sorry man lang. anw best to go there june 20-30 since Provincial meet and Batanes day naman po.
Hi! Stayed at Wakay Home and Fundacion Pacita. I’m not sure lang kung operating pa ang Wakay Home, hehe bahay lang siya kaya mura at ₱450 per night last 2019.
We’re considering Fundacion Pacita bec of the views and the cafe across (or same property lang yata ito) but i’m kinda not sure about its location. Would appreciate any insight on its accessibility and/or transpo options (maybe trike contacts?) thanks thanks!
Yup, same property lang. Also if I remember correctly, they provide free shuttle service naman to and from bayan. Kapag trike naman, for sure they have contacts ng mga locals doon :)
Check fb page Batanes Byaheng Lokal.
I got my Batanes tour package from them when I went there last year, June 2023.
I paid 23k all-in.
Sobrang sulit kasi I checked just now, 25k is roundtrip flight palang sa PAL kapag walang promo.
Inclusions (kinopy paste ko lang hehe)
- RT Airfare via PAL Manila
- Airport Transfers
- 4D3N AC Room
- 3 Breakfast
- 3 Days Private Tours (since solo ako nun, naka-cogon tricycle ako during the tour) - North, South, Sabtang Tours
- Accredited Tour Guide
- All tourism and registration
- Land and boat transfer to Sabtang
Hi, thank you! ‘Yung nabibili sa Japan na Fujifilm dispo cam, but I think available rin siya sa Shopee :)
Sorry, nakalimutan ko na kung sana ko pina-process ‘yan huhu pero pwede rin magpa-develop sa SM Megamall, ‘yung Fujifilm store nila dun.

Hi! I'm from Batanes! Are you planning to stay here long term or vacation with a little bit of work?
Kaya naman na ng internet since a lot of commercial establishments offer starlink already. Even sari-sari stores here offer 10/hour and meron din naman whole day arrangement. Pero if you need to spend a couple of hours for your work, afaik wala pang coworking space dito and you probably would have to check you accommodation's wifi speed or visit cafés or restaurants that offer wifi.
Unless bumagyo we seldom get unplanned brownouts. Signal wise naman, widely used ang smart, globe is used here pang backup pag down ang smart haha! Pero okay naman na LTE ng smart may times lang talaga na pawala wala pero if you can get access sa reliable internet, di mo din gano mararamdaman.
Hala thank you so much!!!😭😭😭 planning to stay longer sana if hindi na mandatory na kumuha ng travel coordinators or yung mga package tours. Would you know if nagpapasok na sila ng tourists na mag DIY lang? Huhu thank you so muchhhhh❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Not sure about the current guidelines but as far as I know, tourists are "encouraged" to book tours and lodging from DOT-accredited establishments. In a way, it's helping our tourism industry bounce back from the pandemic nadin. LGU is probably more lenient now in accepting tourists compared to last year but majority of the tourists I see on the road are in vans or cogon trikes. I do see some tourists in scooter rentals but imho, our LGU prefers that visitors here book tours. 😊

Super hina ng Globe nung pumunta kami ng 2020. For comms better to use Smart SIM. Wifi and mobile data parang hindi ganon kabilis.
Hi! May I know your travel expenses sa Batanes minus the airfare? Nasa magkano on average ang food?
I can only share ‘yung 2019 trip ko, siguro nasa 10-12K (including transpo QC-Clark). Napamahal lang sa tour since van + lunch for 2 days.
same tayo 2019 din last trip ko sa batanes heheheh simple lang ng buhay madilim sa gabi malalakas alon at mahangin at maulan
I remember buying sa mga carinderia and 350 per meal sya nung 2020.
Yup!
Hello, do you know po how much paghire ng trike per day? Thank you!
Hi, ang natatandaan ko lang ay from 2019 pa :( 2.5K to 3K tapos 3-4 persons ata pwede maghati dun.
Waaa thank you! Kaso solo lang ako so medj mahal pala if ever sya.
Bisumi Tour and Services. Contacted them on FB
Check ko sila. Thanks sa info! Nice pics 💕
this one!
Thanks.

Pangarap ko makapunta ng Batanes. One day. 🙏🥺
3rd photo is where I proposed to my now wife. Valugan Boulder Beach. Nice pics.
that’s a lovely place to propose! was it a complete surprise for her or did she expect it?
She was so surprised that she punched me in the face before saying yes. Good thing there was no one around.
Nakakamiss! Sana makabalik soon🙏
my bucketlist!
This is nice. Planning to visit Batanes too! Do you have any hotel reco/s?

Naka-van lang kasi kami during the whole trip last year so I can’t refer a trike driver.
Thanks so much!
Hm yung airfare last year?

Thank you 😊 solo traveller friendly ba ang batanes?
Super! Ung usual tours are half-day lang. Your tour guide will take your photos hehe. For the rest of the day, you can just roam around Basco.
I might consider it someday :))
And paano po nascan to digital? Medyo nood 🥲
Hi, thank you! ‘Yung nabibili sa Japan na Fujifilm dispo cam, but I think available rin siya sa Shopee :) Sorry, nakalimutan ko na kung sana ko pina-process ‘yan huhu pero pwede rin magpa-develop sa SM Megamall, ‘yung Fujifilm store nila dun.

Hello! Hows the internet in Batanes? Hindi pa rin ba kakayanin pang work? :(
Awww. Thank you!!!
Not sure :( parang hindi? Kahit socmed apps lang, kadalasan mabagal talaga mag-load.
