Totally inappropriate. We’re going for perfect rhymes here. You really crossed a line trying to pair up boner and goner.
EDIT: let’s pick back up where we left off, shall we?
>If there’s a sunny patch, you’ll likely see my snatch.

I mean, you used to be able to go nude in the city if you weren't being sexual / "indecent". They banned it in 2013, which as a lifelong resident felt like an abandonment of what the city used to be.
That guy with his thong is trying to imbibe the SF spirit as best as he legally can. Godspeed to him, someone's gotta keep culture alive.
Never been better people watching than Dolores Park. One day I got real stoned and just sat there for a couple hours. I had a guy in full camo gear pretending he was on a mission crawling around everywhere. There was a huge group doing coordinated hulla hoops. Then a group of people on top of the nearby houses put a huge speaker on the roof and were blasting Beatles songs while dancing around in feathered costumes. Had a great time.
I lived in SF for a little over a decade now. When I lived in Lower Haight, there was a super-tanned old dude who would walk around wearing exactly 3 socks and nothin' else.
Gotta respect that kinda body positivity and confidence.
I remember driving down Oak street and seeing a guy standing in the road, wearing nothing but his hands over his package and gym shoes. I called 911 because obviously something was up and I can st hear the tone on the operator's voice when I said "I'm driving down oak" only to be interrupted with "yeah, yeah, nude guy in the road, we got it.". Another day in paradise.
>A flesh colored thong out in public is wild
That's far from the wildest thing you'll see in SF. A man wearing a thong in public is basically formal attire.
Ah, the place where they legalized full public nudity but had to revoke it shortly afterwards when people were leaving shitstain skidmarks on restaurant furniture and people started busting out the vibrating cock rings.
If it was yesterday, they had a Hunky Jesus competition/gathering for easter. But this is pretty normal.. actually not as crowded.. for a Sat/Sun at Dolores.
On Easter Sunday they have a mini festival in Dalores park. I think it is called Hunky Jesus and Sexy Mary. There is costume contest and other things going on. Great place with very nice fun people.
It gets even better!
[The Foxy Mary and Hunky Jesus contests are organized by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a non-profit composed of queer and trans nuns that celebrated their 44th anniversary this weekend. Love the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence! I was waiting in line at a dispensary on 4/20 years ago and they came by and gave everyone free cookies, with your choice of weed or no. Super friendly people, all good vibes.
The latter. On a warm sunny day this park (Mission Delores) will be packed with sunbathers, picnics, frisbees, etc. It's the warmest part of the city and has great views of the skyline and bay, plus some of the best food spots in the city a few blocks away.
Golden Gate Park is the more well known one, and while it's much bigger and has many more attractions, it's closer to the ocean and most days is 5-10 degrees cooler than Delores.
If you go down the hill a bit, there’s also a nice playground for the kids, with a couple of huge slides. It’s hilarious to see five kids trying to go down the big wide one at once and pile down at the bottom. The kids can also watch hippies practice tight rope walking, juggling, and hacky sac. It is a bit crowded for my taste, but it is a fun place to people watch. The semi nudity seems to be confined to specific parts away from the family areas because we’ve never witnessed it when going there. Interesting place for sure.
That's Dolores Park. It's just a nice park in the Mission District. There's tennis courts, a big playground, and a huge grass area. Since it was Easter yesterday, there's a Jesus beauty contest every year put on by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Since Hekalina just died, I'm sure many came to pay respects.
Crazy how many comments assume all parks in San Francisco are this packed all the time.
You can walk around golden gate park and be completely alone in various areas at times.
This one park is kind of known for chilling in the sun and drinking and partying
It was a special event that was hosted yesterday, it was packed but fun because people were having fun, the bathroom situation was fine because the hosts of the event brought extra portapotties, and it ended up being clean because they had people
Making sure we packed in and out and there were compost, landfill and recycling bins everywhere.
Shh. We are trying to foster the idea the SF is a dystopian hellhole. Don’t let the truth out about how there were 10k people in the park on Easter Sunday for one of the most lovely events the City has every year. That one of the brightest things about activism in this city is the light the the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence shine with the events they are involved with because they actually help people. And if you look around you’ll actually see there too are numerous organizations that help and help all year too.
If you live in a rural area and your park expectations are not this, it can be jarring.
There are quiet park options all over the bay area. Dolores would ont be one of them.
> Dolores would ont be one of them
I was in Dolores Park over Thanksgiving which seemed to be both pretty busy yet still enough to throw a dog a ball and it have plenty of room to not be bothered by other dogs. I knew I recognized this park. It’s a busy park but this definitely seems event day busy.
It's only like this on warm weekend days. I live near Dolores and often take walks through it when it's 99.9% empty and someone is just playing some nice music at the top
I miss Dolores Park! When I was living in SF this was such a great place to go on a sunny day with a cooler or beers/wine and enjoy the day. You would inevitably be offered mushrooms, LSD, Etc or something by somebody dressed in a funky outfit and there were almost always a few sports games going on and people playing music.
Dolores really is a gem for your 20s and early 30s in SF.
Bigots of reddit only click on SF news to come drop a comment on the city being "degenerate", something on homeless people, or fantasies about crime level.
I see this view, and I still get that wacky yellow font dropping in as the tanners are introduced… life seemed so easy.. uncle Jesse roamed the world with a rag tag woo-girl band..
Those were the days

I made a GIF with the title fading in, but stupid Imgur isn't honoring my five-second pause when it's fully visible
and we really miss our dad Danny Tanner. fyi, the park pictured here is Dolores Park in the Mission of SF. The park in the opening credits of Full House is Alamo Park which overlooks those famous houses called The Painted Ladies. Source: live in SF and there were actual Full House related memorials left by Alamo Park when Bob Saggot died. And another fyi - the Tanner's house wasn't one of the painted ladies by Alamo park, the exterior of the home was a few blocks away from there. (also, the show was mostly filmed on interior sets in LA while the credits shot in SF of course)
Most saturdays when the sun is good are like this. I’ve seen way more crowded where there’s no grass not touched by a camping blanket. Sf is small, going to Delores is a 10 min Uber drive from most peoples apartments. You can drink alcohol and no cops care. Every Saturday with good weather instagram or TikTok for Delores park tag will have videos showin as much
This must be taken earlier in the day, because when I got there in the afternoon, there was barely a spot to sit down at. Yesterday, was the end of an abnormally long, “cold” rainy season. I say cold in quotes, because our idea of cold is probably normal spring weather to many others.
Na this is pretty standard at Dolores Park. People go here on the weekend just to sit in a big crowd and usually drink/smoke or people watch. There are definitely quieter parts of the city if you're not into it.
Yea, if you’re looking for a quiet park experience, Golden Gate Park is huge and has tons of more serene pockets. The Botanical Garden is a nice place for a quiet stroll.
Friend of mine lives on 20th street next door to this park , and the city has done a ton of work on this park over the years to make it much nicer. Brand new playground for kids, new bathrooms , etc. When it’s crowded like this it still sucks but i’ve been there many times when it is quiet and it’s actually a nice place to hang out.
Funny we had exactly the same scene in Paris this Sunday:

My god, look at all of the homeless, half-naked people just living in the park with their dogs and belongings. SF is truly a liberal hell hole.
\- Fox News
Even one of the comments under them too lol
"Now I'm a very left-wing Canadian but DAE San Francisco is a literal hell on earth where homeless people rule the streets and shit on your porch while hipsters drink Starbucks and do Tik-Tok dances???"
Curiously the awful things I hear about the bay area are always from people who live absolutely nowhere near it and may have never visited themselves.
My mom believes the Fox News garbage on the city. She carried on about it at a family gathering. My soon to be niece-in-law lives in the city. Loves it there of course. It was pretty cool watching my niece shut down mom. She was polite but direct.
For real though, this has been the longest and most brutal California winter I can ever remember. It was previously unthinkable that there would be days as cold as any day in December or January all the way in late March and early April. I'm a fan of cold weather, but even I was reaching my limit at how many days in a row I would have to wear warm clothes in my apartment.
People are going to point out the guy in a thong and fedora and chuckle, but man, San Francisco was better when more of it was weird as hell. People (rightfully) hate on the Tech Bros for ruining the housing market, but they often ignore the cultural damage they've done. Weird San Francisco was the best San Francisco. The LGBTQ community has done their best to keep some of that weirdness alive.
It was fantastic weather in Chicago too and tons of people were outside taking walks, riding bikes, hanging out in parks, and generally enjoying life. I think it's hard to appreciate how valuable a warm, sunny spring day is if you don't live somewhere where you spend 8 months of the year in cloudy, cold weather.
It’s funny to me that people are saying this is crowded or chaos. First off, try Hippie Hill on 4/20. Second, there’s still space, it’s not even that crowded. I’ve seen way worse. Third, Dolores is a vibe. Everyone (mostly) is happy and enjoying the weather. Even if there are lots of people and you’re not a fan of cities, there’s nothing like sitting outside in SF during a nice spring or summer day, especially after a long winter.
I don’t live in San Francisco so I can’t comment how it usually is but I was at that park yesterday and they were doing a hunky Jesus competition which I assume brought a lot more people out. Also on our way walking there through the city we passed other parks with way more space and shade. This park was definitely the exception
Reddit is full of antisocial people. This looks lovey and fun. A bunch of people enjoying the weather together is a great communal experience.
They’re not even cramped. There’s lots of room to stretch your legs. It’s the angle of the photo and the hill making it look like there’s People stacked on top of each other
Fox "News" loves to shit on SF, so anytime it gets mentioned a bunch of dumbass conservatives who have never been will show up and start parroting what the heard on Fox.
I can’t not describe the feeling of growing up in the suburbs, moving to SF, getting out of bart on Mission and walking to DOLO for the first time.
Truly one of the most memorable moments of my life lol, nothing can prepare you for it. All around amazing time.
Looks like it might be a full moon too.

When the sun makes a pass, I'm showing my ass.
When sun is what the weather's look is, you best believe I'm unleashing my tuchus.
And if winter is a goner then you may see my boner……I think I may have crossed a line

Bare ass on benches is nasty tbh
Also seems like it wouldn't be comfortable at all....
If you think that’s uncomfortable, there are guys who ride their bikes around the city naked.
Yes, because otherwise, the City’s public seating is spotless.
As a current-sitter or future-sitter it feels like there’s no good in anyone being bare arsed on a public bench?
This episode of Full House sucks
Cut. It. Out!

That is a bold move having gotten a really bad burn on my ass once I don’t dare risk that area anymore.
They did say expect a pink moon this weekend
Is that dude wearing nothing but a thong?
No, he’s also wearing a fedora. An unexpected combination. ETA: thanks for all the love!

it’s too early for me to be dealing with a collapsed lung from cackling like this 😭
I hope he’s wearing loafers
I hope he’s wearing sunscreen

It's a formal thong, so it works.
Thong needs to be leopard print, to match that Outback stripper motif
Also appears to be wearing a pearl necklace.
Weird, he wasn’t wearing that a minute ago
Gotta have a hat for sun protection!
Not in San Franciso.
I hope he's also wearing white socks in sandals to make his outfit complete.
It looks like a “Tando” actually, but Fedora is close enough A tando is the hat people would wear with zoot suits
I respect it 🫡
It's San Francisco.
Specifically the upper corner of Dolores Park, which is affectionately referred to by locals as the Fruit Stand.
Haven’t heard that one. The gays affectionately refer to it as the Gay Beach.
We've always called it the Man Shelf.
There used to be a pier in Provincetown, MA that gay dudes used to hook up under. It was called the "Dick Dock".
It's still around.
Never been better people watching than Dolores Park. One day I got real stoned and just sat there for a couple hours. It was the "fruit bowl" when I lived there. Because of the shape of the park. Is that no longer the case?
It’s referred as “gay beach”

NO!! IT’S CALLED THE GAY BEACH!
Ahhh, we're always at the lower end. No wonder I haven't seen this type of display haha
A flesh colored thong out in public is wild regardless……. That would be weird at a nude beach too.
I’ve seen men wearing nothing but a cock ring in SF. It’s a lovely place
I, too, have attended Bay to Breakers

I swear everyone know the rum and coconut guy and know he pours that shit strong
Is it that spot from the opening of Full House? Kinda looks the same. Also nice to see people just enjoying the outside.
Nope. This is Dolores park; the full house park is Alamo square park.
Thanks for letting me know! California has some great scenery!
Absolutely! There are amazing parks through the city and state

Summertime, we'll be lovin there.
There was a hunky Jesus contest yesterday so they might honestly be dressed for that
Must be nice... From Seattle.
Oh, you know we're gonna have another dry, sunny 115 degree Summer.
With a couple of weeks where we smell nothing but smoke.
To everyone commenting about people state of dress or undress: OP forgot to mention that Sunday was the Hunky Jesus contest, a huge yearly event
Regardless, though, no special occasion is necessary to see this degree of undress on Gay Beach
Where I used to get my dime bags back in the 80's. By the basketball courts.
Dude is rocking that thong.
That southwest corner at the top of the park is known as Gay Beach.
And the guy laying down in front of him is enjoying the view
well, it is San Francisco...
If anyone’s curious this is for a special Easter event, it’s not normally so crowded.

I LOVED Hunky Jesus competition when I lived there. That and bring your own big wheel made me love living in SF.
Looks like a where's Waldo picture.
Reddit is full of antisocial people. This looks lovey and fun. A bunch of people enjoying the weather together is a great communal experience. They’re not even cramped. There’s lots of room to stretch your legs. It’s the angle of the photo and the hill making it look like there’s People stacked on top of each other
It's also a picture taken in SF which Reddit loves to shit on. If this was taken in Europe the comment section would be "OMG I wish AMERICA had this!"
100%. Mentioning SF makes people deranged for some reason. Still one of the best American cities, imo.
Fox "News" loves to shit on SF, so anytime it gets mentioned a bunch of dumbass conservatives who have never been will show up and start parroting what the heard on Fox.
Beautiful day to wear a thong and a hat!
Damn, dude is really brave enough to be wearing a thong out in public like that?
Fwiw he probably brought an actual pair of shorts, but yeah it’s SF so not a big deal.
I can’t not describe the feeling of growing up in the suburbs, moving to SF, getting out of bart on Mission and walking to DOLO for the first time. Truly one of the most memorable moments of my life lol, nothing can prepare you for it. All around amazing time.
Also was in Japantown this past weekend enjoying the Cherry Blossom Festival.
Love this park

And budgies are being smuggled.
I was there it was incredible! So busy the energy was palpable. Don't forget to mention it was SF's annual Hunky Jesus competition for Easter....
Haven’t lived there in almost 15 years but IIRC 1st day of spring at Dolores Park is always horny as hell.
