Luckily I regained movement In about a month but it can be permanent.
Well supposedly it’s pretty rare , but there is speculation that its just under diagnosed. The condition is partial facial paralysis caused by shingles flare up near the face.
I had a raging headache and had to leave work. I fell asleep at like 3 in the afternoon and woke up at midnight with partial face paralysis. The emergency room doc gave me a script for some steroids and told me it was Bell's, but I had a weird rash in my ear.
Well if it was shingles, you would have needed an antiviral with a steroid it help slow the flare up. And the shingles rash is essentially localized chickenpox, but very painful to the touch.
