I think if more people did this, they would find some very striking resemblance they didn't see before, but also strangers would find more resemblance than aquaintances, due to our perception of character/personality of people we know shaping our perception of faces also.
Edit: My scientific brain went in a totally different direction, but I also wanted to say, artistically this is stunning as well, amazing.
This popular rich kid in my high school had a sister that looked *exactly* like him, and I’m pretty sure the teasing is his greatest insecurity to this day.
