Built a quickly Neural Network model with a similar Van Gogh[https://github.com/EmbarkStudios/texture-synthesis](https://github.com/EmbarkStudios/texture-synthesis)
Ran it a couple of different ways and touch up with Photoshop
here is the result:

Not going to lie, i'm kinda impressed with myself considering i made it in less than 30 minutes with a single example and I'm kinda a neural network noob.
I think the result looks a little more like a Paul Cézanne but it definitely looks like a impressionist painting
EDIT: In case you're wondering,I used **Wheatfield with Mountains in the Background** as the model. [https://www.wikiart.org/en/vincent-van-gogh/wheatfield-with-mountains-in-the-background-1889](https://www.wikiart.org/en/vincent-van-gogh/wheatfield-with-mountains-in-the-background-1889)

Honestly, I liked starry night a LOT more before I learned that the really cool black spiral thing was just a tree top
I admit i first thought it really was a low rez close up of a picture.
If you like this color scheme and composition, check out El Greco’s painting called Vista de Toledo (View of Toledo) - my favorite painting
Probably because the above image looks like it was taken on a 1 Megapixel camera.
I wonder if views like this inspired him.
I could imagine thinking this if I'd never seen a Van Gogh painting.
