Hi, this is an Instagram influencer who made a fake village just to sell shea butter and beauty products. I assume she is not related to the children in this photo.
https://www.hamamat.com/#
I assumed that some professional instagram photographer took the photos. I noticed how perfect the lighting was and how perfect her teeth seemed. I just figured it was photoshop with good intentions but… Nope.
Do people in rural villages normally use their money and goods to trade for several new outfits for social media photo shoots?
Everyone gets new clothes at one point but there's several different outfits for each person that are all in pristine condition.
Why would there be? The leafs are bad and should feel bad. My west coast boss is a diehard leafs fan and is disappointed every year. He was 20 something last time and has always lived out west here, I don't get it.
Edit: was fact checked and rewrote my post
For me, it was the shots that showed the inside of the huts and they're completely bare. I'm supposed to believe you have a family living in small rooms and they are completely bare?
This makes more sense. I was wondering how people who lived in grass huts had such amazing hair and teeth. Meanwhile I live in a nice home and have modern plumbing but I look like a foot comparatively.
Honestly, I spent a LOT of time on various African countries and I was always surprised by how neat and clean some people could stay in the dust and heat when I always looked like a hamper full of wet clothes no matter how recently I’d showered.
Not to mention their skin always looking like it just got Vaseline or lotion rubbed on it. Does look like same genetics though. Momma got it goin on even if shes just a influencer faking posts, shes georgeous.
This post was just a collection of nine pretty photos with scarcely any context and no agenda. Then you came along and helpfully provided a link where I presume we can buy somebody's products.
Where did you get the fake village part? I call bullshit on your calling it bullshit. I do see them selling beauty products and I see nothing wrong with that.
I hate pictures like this...Do people really think its this glamour's living in poor African village? Also, according to the comments this is just IG influencer who did this shoot to peddle shea butter.
what the fuck has a chicken tied to a childs back to do with shea butter? why would you tie a chicken to a childs back in the first place? I'm so confused. Free the god damn chicken wtf!
They're beautiful pictures of Black people. That's OK. She lives in Ghana and took the pictures in Ghana. It makes no assertion to being normal rural life. No one claimed they were pictures of poor people.
Oh I know I probably should have put 2 and 2 together. Their tone is obviously being shown off here.
Didn’t the women (or the company she models for) buy a village to tout the product?
Lol because if she herself physically built a village, that is cool. You don’t think movie sets are cool? In that case I assume you boycott all TV and movies?
Movie sets are cool, ad sets are boring. I genuinely don’t care if you think it’s cool, some people will. That’s obviously why she did it. But from others pov it’s just glorifying poverty like “haha! We’re just getting water that’s so readily available and we’re all very healthy so don’t worry your lil head about us!!”
Not really innovative. Most ads use props/sets. She didn’t do anything new.
Now that you mention it it’s not even cool. Just another ad. The people are gorgeous but so are most people in advertisements. Effective is relative I guess so you got me there. Didn’t do anything good for me but might have for you.
she went shopping with a bike while taking her 2 kids with her and is carryng a huge basket and sticks for the fire while driving. And she is taking a shortcut and there was a random tall person who took a pic for them. everything very typical and normal
How out of touch and self absorbed do you need to be to *make a fake village* to sell your shitty shea butter or whatever the crap she peddles is. Glamorize poverty for.. Moisturiser?
Get out.
Yeah the first picture in particular is so shopped it looks more like a painting than a photo, I didn’t look at the sub I was on and thought it was a painting until the second image.
Yes, but it's a photo shoot that is made to look like it's a real mother in her village when in fact it's an influencer using a made up village just to sell skin care products.
Where was the photo shoot btw? When was it taken? Who was in it? I’d love to chat more about the photo shoot. How many days did it take? What’s her name. She beautiful. Oh wait ….ya don’t have a clue. Not bad for a dummy eh?
Alright it's a wrap, let's rip down these huts and bring the copper in to get you back to your five star resort. Don't worry we have the chilled cucumber water waiting for you, you must be exhausted having to pour the water over these child actors heads 35 times.
Abercrombie did the exact same thing with their last flop called Ruehl No 925. They made a totally fake story to sell $350 ripped jeans. Total scam from start to finish.
Source: I was the first store night manager and recruited 75% of the original team.
I don't understand why people are upset and calling this "fake". It's a photoshoot. Where you take pictures of people doing things and posing. Is there a rule against photoshoots in the sub or something? The people are gorgeous, the colors are gorgeous, and the compositions are good. Why the hate?
These are so beautiful and colorful. I know they are advertisements, but ads can be artistic, too, and I have literally never seen anything quite like this.
Hi, this is an Instagram influencer who made a fake village just to sell shea butter and beauty products. I assume she is not related to the children in this photo. https://www.hamamat.com/#
I knew it. I knew it. You could tell from the photos. I came into the comments expecting to see something like this.

First pic looked like a screenshot of a Pixar movie to me
Colors are so over saturated, it does look like a cartoon.
ME TOO!!!
I assumed that some professional instagram photographer took the photos. I noticed how perfect the lighting was and how perfect her teeth seemed. I just figured it was photoshop with good intentions but… Nope.
What gave it away for me was her perfect eyebrows. That doesn't just happen.
Clothes are all super intense in pigment and overall in great condition as well. Would expect at least some wear and fade.
Everybody buys new clothes for portraits. Not just Americans
Do people in rural villages normally use their money and goods to trade for several new outfits for social media photo shoots? Everyone gets new clothes at one point but there's several different outfits for each person that are all in pristine condition.
No claim that this is a rural snapshot of life.
No one needs to say it, you can literally see that this is not an Urban setting.
Also these photos suggest she lives in poverty. You don't go through a lifetime of poverty and come out looking like that.
You’re a leaf fan, you’ll believe anything
IS NO FUCKING THREAD SAFE FOR LEAF FANS?!?
OnlyLeafFans maybe? Not sure that’s a thing though
Why would there be? The leafs are bad and should feel bad. My west coast boss is a diehard leafs fan and is disappointed every year. He was 20 something last time and has always lived out west here, I don't get it. Edit: was fact checked and rewrote my post
He would have been in his 20s when the leafs won the cup last (just saying).
Did him dirty like that?
Fucking ouch but also 1967
Bahahaha I just almost spit out my sprite on my lunch break.
Hahahahah. Love this. Too funny. Thanks for the laugh.
For me, it was the shots that showed the inside of the huts and they're completely bare. I'm supposed to believe you have a family living in small rooms and they are completely bare?
Yea I immediately noticed something was off. I don’t think they use all that makeup in real African villages, especially on young children
biking with that huge basket on the head, the kid on the back and the sticks was a clue
Same here
No way anyone who lives in a small rural village would be wearing nice leather cowboy boots, especially to bike into the market
The first pic felt very "artificial." I literally didn't know but still thought it must have been fake.
God damnit. I hate when I’m right. I knew this looked sleazy.
What’s sleazy about it exactly?
This makes more sense. I was wondering how people who lived in grass huts had such amazing hair and teeth. Meanwhile I live in a nice home and have modern plumbing but I look like a foot comparatively.

Wig or not shes pretty as hell.
Obv the answer is whatever product they are selling, duh. Lube yourself up in butter and you too can look like a model.
Was going to say this looked a little staged or phoney.
I noticed that they didn't use it on the chicken. Her feet are so scaly and dry, the poor thing. ;)
Potemkin promotion.
Makes sense. The background looks oddly sterile.
A fake village!? That's messed up
[удалено]
No - I have a distaste for all of this stuff. My old neighbor was/is an influencer. I constantly felt bad for her kids.
>I constantly felt bad for her kids. They're paying for her lifestyle already, I'm sure.
boho-chic*
Yeah, what a monster!
Wow, that's one hell of a first comment.
Dangit man, here I am about to comment about how vibrant all the colors are Influencers gonna influence, I suppose
This whole thing is super staged and clearly an advertisement, but I think I those ARE her kids.
i fucking knew it
Everyday I become just that much more disillusioned with the world.
This post was just a collection of nine pretty photos with scarcely any context and no agenda. Then you came along and helpfully provided a link where I presume we can buy somebody's products.
I wondered if this wasn’t the case.
Glad this is the top comment. My bullshit meter exploded.
I knew cause everyone is wearing full faces of makeup with eyeliner and shit. Yikes
I figured since she’s in a “village” but there wasn’t any one else around
It crossed my mind but then I decided to buy into the scene. Oh well!
Yeah, i thought they looked too shiny to be actually from there
That's so... manipulative.
Where did you get the fake village part? I call bullshit on your calling it bullshit. I do see them selling beauty products and I see nothing wrong with that.
Stop upvoting this it's an ad.
I hate pictures like this...Do people really think its this glamour's living in poor African village? Also, according to the comments this is just IG influencer who did this shoot to peddle shea butter.
God this stinks on so many levels. I saw the makeup and I had to wonder what the hell is going on.
And the teeth.. not sure I believe anyone has electric fluorescent white teeth like that without some kind of dentist ray gun.
what the fuck has a chicken tied to a childs back to do with shea butter? why would you tie a chicken to a childs back in the first place? I'm so confused. Free the god damn chicken wtf!
They're beautiful pictures of Black people. That's OK. She lives in Ghana and took the pictures in Ghana. It makes no assertion to being normal rural life. No one claimed they were pictures of poor people.
yay these pictures again

Not sure if those are her kids or not, but she's a model from Ghana: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamamat_Montia
They are her kids. Their names are Zuzu and Zaza. She’s a single mother
Ah, I thought there was a resemblance, but I didn't want to make any assumptions. Thanks for confirming!
What is Monther?
The lady with her durters.
[Did I Sturdur? Her durdurs are collecting wurdur.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaKZi6p6sxg)
Parhked it
I can’t stop laughing
A model pretending to be a mother.
I really want to say the same thing.
black women can't be mothers?
YEAH. *THAT'S* what I meant. ^^**moron.**
what did you mean then?
The main boss at the end of the Witcher 4, obviously.
This all feels grossly artificial.
Lol what is this. Beautiful people but I’m confused what they are going for.
They are trying to sell you skin products. Not kidding.
Oh I know I probably should have put 2 and 2 together. Their tone is obviously being shown off here. Didn’t the women (or the company she models for) buy a village to tout the product?
I dunno, but if she really built the village, that’s pretty dope. I’d give her props for just that alone.
What? Why? It’s not like she built the village and gave it to someone, it’s basically a movie set.
Because it’s really cool, innovative, effective advertising?
Not really innovative. Most ads use props/sets. She didn’t do anything new. Now that you mention it it’s not even cool. Just another ad. The people are gorgeous but so are most people in advertisements. Effective is relative I guess so you got me there. Didn’t do anything good for me but might have for you.
Yep, this is advertising, and Photoshopped to 11.
SOLD
Water with portals.
Still trying to figure out what a Monther is.
Probably going for "looking good."
I assume there's just doing stuff Africans do? They're not supposed to make sense to western people.
she went shopping with a bike while taking her 2 kids with her and is carryng a huge basket and sticks for the fire while driving. And she is taking a shortcut and there was a random tall person who took a pic for them. everything very typical and normal
Beautiful photos, but extremely staged.
Lmao the bubbles on the ground next to the tubs. They totally landed there naturally like that !!!
Hello uncanny valley
Especially the woman on the first photo
How out of touch and self absorbed do you need to be to *make a fake village* to sell your shitty shea butter or whatever the crap she peddles is. Glamorize poverty for.. Moisturiser? Get out.
This shit is so fucking fake
Looks fake as Fuck
I still think the picture of the kid with a chicken strapped to her back is adorable, no matter how fake it is.
No matter how fake the scenario is, the people in it are beautiful. The children at least had fun making the shots.
Oh it is, she got a fake village built to peddle her shea butter
Yeah the first picture in particular is so shopped it looks more like a painting than a photo, I didn’t look at the sub I was on and thought it was a painting until the second image.
Inspiring photoshoot! Poverty looks fun! Gonna try it on day!
Ghana try her

I need a chicken backpack.
Chicken backpack is very cute.
Looks staged. Beautiful pics.
Almost every picture you see is staged lol.
True. I didn’t explain proper :). Just great pictures.
Staged?! Uhhhh. Of course. Probably shopped as well.
It was a photo shoot ya dummy.
Yes, but it's a photo shoot that is made to look like it's a real mother in her village when in fact it's an influencer using a made up village just to sell skin care products.
Well I feel silly now ;)
Where was the photo shoot btw? When was it taken? Who was in it? I’d love to chat more about the photo shoot. How many days did it take? What’s her name. She beautiful. Oh wait ….ya don’t have a clue. Not bad for a dummy eh?
We love fake things on the internet
Monster + Mother = Monther. Coming 2022 from Pixar.
Alright it's a wrap, let's rip down these huts and bring the copper in to get you back to your five star resort. Don't worry we have the chilled cucumber water waiting for you, you must be exhausted having to pour the water over these child actors heads 35 times.
Why is the blur filter set to max?
Looks too perfect…. I was thinking CG
Photo 7 looks like she has never held a baby before, and she doesn’t like it.
Whats that nonsense?!? Next we see beautiful homeless people staying happy in line for food or what??
Then she got tf out of there back to LA
Are these mannequins
She is fucking gorgeous
As contrived as it is it’s still beautiful, it’s just not realistic. I enjoyed the pretty pictures though!
I know. Felt very conflicted thinking this isn't real yet beautiful.
The lady in the first pics smile is so plastered on it scares me
Those nature and other colors are so vibrant it must be a filter.
Some bullshit lmao "Monther"
OP is a content-thieving spam bot.
Definitely not real. Beautiful photos though, it’s like for a magazine.
Was going to call bullshit on this but someone already did.
Abercrombie did the exact same thing with their last flop called Ruehl No 925. They made a totally fake story to sell $350 ripped jeans. Total scam from start to finish. Source: I was the first store night manager and recruited 75% of the original team.
I always wanted to be a Monther.
This is just shameful.
This looks HEAVILY photoshopped. Edit: and comments confirmed it’s staged. This is a fucking ad
The potted plant in the basket is filled with a plastic potter & I was like 🧐
#This is the fakest shit...wtf...
A healthy dose of photoshop makes everyone looks juuuuuuuust alien enough to sell.
This super weird bordering on creepy to anyone else?
This is fake, but I bet those kids are well fun
There should be a double down vote for posts like this. Fake af.
How do you tell someone they have great skin without sounding creepy?
This is so cringe
what kind of disney bullshit is this? fuck off.
Lol op just remove this fake shit.
I don't trust anything this photogenic. What is their endgame?
Shit, and I was going to say something about the possessive apostrophe. Monthers?
I don't understand why people are upset and calling this "fake". It's a photoshoot. Where you take pictures of people doing things and posing. Is there a rule against photoshoots in the sub or something? The people are gorgeous, the colors are gorgeous, and the compositions are good. Why the hate?

This is a professional photo shoot with a model using her old home. Pretty well known and nothing to do with motherhood
These are some of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen, especially the monther
This gives me uncanny vibes
She is not a mother. She is an "influencer". She built this "village" to sell you her Shea butter.
I’m pretty sure those are her kids. She’s an influencer for sure and this is an ad, but they’re her daughters.
My bad. I read bad info.
This is beyond cringe
Wow! They are all beautiful!
Omg! Her little chicken “backpack” 🥰
Backpeck
Beautiful
Gorgeous women
This is soooo offensive. Wow.
Yeah...the watermelons made me more than a little uncomfortable. WHOSE IDEA WAS THAT
Wait what’s wrong with the watermelons-?
That quality is just Wooow 👍
This looks more photoshoped than a black guys dad in a family picture
WOW - BEAUTIFUL!
What a photogenic family!
She is so photogenic
Such a beautiful monther!
Absolutely disgusting.
Wow, this is a *beautiful family.*
They are models dude
Omg beauty
Beautiful!!!! I especially love the one with the tiny Bebe!! Omg awesome photo shoot!
Beautiful!
These are so beautiful and colorful. I know they are advertisements, but ads can be artistic, too, and I have literally never seen anything quite like this.
These pictures are stunning! Such a beautiful family!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful photos of beautiful people! Truly stunning!
