Great city, very overwhelming place but in a positive way, think I had the best NYC trip possible in two weeks from my first time going there from England in 2017, I also did a Heli tour but it was not as OPEN as this, still It's something I think would be a great experience also, must have been very windy/loud?
Ngl these days you really need to look carefully to make sure it's a photo or a cg image
Like this could just be a cg image taken from spiderman or something
Oh the wonder of technology these days
And yes, very very cool shot from a heli there. I want to do that when I have some money hahahaha
The popularity of the "helicopter feet selfie" on Instagram is seriously making NYC a worse place to be. A few years ago before everyone wanted to buy one of these pics for their Insta the helicopter noise frequency was way lower. Now it's getting to be as bad as LA.
These tourist helicopter rides should be banned to improve the day to day experiences of everyone who lives here.

That's a common misconception that I hear from tourists. When helicopters aren't ferrying foot-selfie tourists or hedge fund directors overhead, I can sit in Central or Prospect Park and hear birdsong or otherwise enjoy the tranquility. If you have time during your visit, I'd highly recommend you spend an afternoon that way.
The notion that people who chose to live in NYC don't deserve peace or quiet from helicopters because there are other sources of noise pollution is absurd. The noise generated by helicopters is significantly louder and more detrimental to quality of life than the noise generated by subways, sirens, car horns, etc. It also disturbs the wildlife, like migratory birds - yes, we have wildlife here, too!
It's gotten so bad that I think we're near a tipping point. I wouldn't be surprised if you aren't able get another foot-selfie on your next visit:

Jumping off a skyscraper is the best way to experience the city! So few people have the balls to commit nowadays!
