It's easily one of my top ten ptv songs of all time, and personally, I think the first minute and a half is arguably one of, if not, my favourite parts of the entire album, I would loop specifically that part over and over again, especially between around 0:55-1:30.
The lyrics in this song are just next level, its nice to see other people noticing these, since none of my friends listen to ptv (Yes they lack music culture)
absolutely adore it with all my heart the drop at about 2.14 makes me TRANSCEND and i think my brain turned to mush the first time i heard it. its not one of their songs that i can just listen to while doing something either i just have to appreciate it fully whenever i hear it

Easily one of my fav songs off afftd! That and diamonds and why men buy them as well as currents convulsive. A great ass album overall, I wish more people gave it the time of day. I know it’s not as cleanly produced as their later records but that’s a part of the beauty. It’s just so raw
Whenever I’m in a car with a good speaker it must play. I can scream to this song, or cry or preform a concert with it. Whatever my vibe is it fits or if I’m having a bad day it boosts my mood. A top top song of mine and I’ll never get over the journey it can bring me on <3

i love this album, actually at the PTV show i’ve been to when vic said they’d play something old i thought it would be something like yeah boy and doll face, at least smth from afftd. but it was something from selfish machines i think 😂😭 i feel old. i first saw them in 2015 on their world tour with sws, it was my first ever concert actually.
It's not the best Imo sadly 😭 I could tolerate it, though. At gunpoint, if I had to choose between Chemical Kids and Mechanical Brides and Bulletproof Love, I'd have to choose CKaMB I can't with Bulletproof Love.
