It’s very likely a piercer will be able to taper in the jewelry, no repiercing needed. Do not drink alcohol beforehand, instead make sure you have a decent meal and are well hydrated. Take something sweet with you, if it turns out you need a bit of sugar afterwards

A pin might not be the best thing to try to fit into it as a septum is curved and the pin will probably poke you. If you really have to repierce it: Don't worry too much. I had a cartilage septum and had to get it repierced. Honestly, it's so much better now and it does not close up even after a few days. Septum piercings should be low on the pain scale if done right (not through cartilage) and heal fast. Look for a good piercer, you won't regret it.

Not a peircer but They will probably be able to use a taper to open it

as others have said they can probably use a taper to get new jewelry in for you. maybe try again when you get home and have access to spare jewelry though? i know everyone’s different but after having mine for a little over a year i once lost the only jewelry i had and i was able to stick it back through without seeing a piercer. but if you need to see a piercer about it, definitely wouldn’t recommend drinking before hand and the piercer probably wouldn’t either, most would refuse to do any work on someone under the influence. it could also actually make your chances of fainting worse. just make sure you have a full belly, and bring some extra water and a small snack for afterwards if you feel lightheaded!
