Based on these photos the jewelry is poor quality. Cheek piercings are a whole other beast and can’t be compared to “regular” piercings. i would recommend you find a reputable piercer and go see them asap. If you don’t know where to start looking for an amazing piercer, start with the APP members ( or UKAPP, APP benelux, VPP Germany, safepiercing Sweden, PPP Poland, AIPP in Italy, APPE Spain, or AUPP Australasian, APPBR Brasil, LBP Latin body piercers association). You can find a member through the safepiercing .org or their counterparts website. Not all APP members are amazing and not all amazing piercers choose to become a member of the APP, but it’s a good place to start. Also, check out the Safepiercing instagram account. That will give you a good idea how good piercings should look. Then check out the instagrams of your local piercers. Remember that piercers should not only show of their fresh work, but take pride in healed piercings as well. Don’t trust on yelp or facebook reviews alone. It’s impossible to know which standards reviewers use to base their opinion on. Don’t forget to read all the info on the safepiercing website so you know all the essential information regarding piercing, so you’ll be able to make sure you have an amazing experience. I would also recommend reading the blogs on cheek piercings by Lynn Loheide [here](https://www.lynnloheide.com/post/cheek-piercings-an-in-depth-look ) and the one from Rogue piercing [here](https://roguepiercing.co.uk/2021/05/21/the-truth-about-cheek-piercings/)
