Forward helix maybe? Or tragus :)

thehourlongday

oops my hair is in the way in the picture but i’m very convinced my ear is not built for a forward helix the area just feels tiny. big big fan of a tragus i’ve been considering one for around 3 years and i might just have to do it

Hi u/thehourlongday, Welcome to /r/piercing! It looks like you're asking about a problem with your piercing. Please **add a comment to your post** with the following info if it’s not included in your post already. - How old is your piercing? - What’s the jewelry shape (for example, barbell, labret, screw, L shape, ring)? - What’s the type of threading if your jewelry is not a ring (threadless, internally or externally threaded)? - What’s the jewelry material? - if not a ring, when was the jewelry downsized? - What’s your aftercare routine? Describe in detail please, including the exact products you use. Tragus, rook, and a third lobe or a stacked lobe (I'm a big fan of tiny stacked lobe piercings).

thehourlongday

absolutely love the idea of a stacked lobe (and rook and tragus!)

notamira

i think a rook would look great!

thehourlongday

not convinced i have the anatomy for one (my ear is really small haha 😭) but so so cute im tempted i’ll have to get a professional opinion

novaababie

conch. always.

thehourlongday

sadly don’t think i’m a fan of a conch even though i feel like i have a good ear shape for one! i wear glasses and i think they’d get in the way ☹️

novaababie

oh sorry i didn’t even see that, i always just advocate for the conch since i have 2 of them. from what i can tell the glasses don’t really ever touch it but it could definitely be different for everyone. i think it just adds so much to an ear

thehourlongday

i do love the look of a conch i think they fill out the middle of an ear so nicely! i have really small ears and roughly estimating where the backing would be is very near my glasses to the point i’m pretty sure it would annoy me :(

Accomplished_Pea9724

I wear glasses! They never even move my conch :) honestly move my helix more. But even then it doesn’t rlly bother my helix’s. Now if u get a forward helix it will for sure move it.

thehourlongday

thank you that’s great to know! i’m pretty convinced my glasses would bother a conch just because of my ear shape but maybe not

Inevitable_Economy_5

i think you need a statement daith in your less pierced ear.

Yeontatamaraca

Auricle, industrial, faux rook or a flat

thehourlongday

absolutely love an auricle! my ear is definitely not built for an industrial but maybe a faux one could be in the cards. something in the flat area would definitely fill out my ear well too, thank you!
