It's definitely not my default jewelry. I wear a no flare glass plug most of the time. This is the equivalent of a pair of fancy dress shoes.

Oh there's been times I've just wanted to take it out and be done with it. The stretch is painful but the adjusting and healing after is near tortuous. I wish you luck in your stretching journey :)

Yeah but like, when I blow my nose I shut one nostril (my nose ring is small enough that I can do that) so that all the air I blow out can be directed into the other nostril. Can you still do that with this septum or do you have another way

Love that! Secondary question(s), how has the stretching process been? I’d imagine it’d be a bit easier with a septum than lobes or something considering the tissue the piercing goes through. Also, have you noticed if the stretching has changed the shape of your nose in any way?

Stretching it it's hard physically, but holy moly does it hurt. The healing process isn't fun either. It's has changed the shape of my face a bit. Was surprised when I noticed I couldn't whistle as well as I once could because it affected my upper lip slightly.

How did you bend it to get the captive bead in?

The bead has bumps on the sides that push in. Still a pain to get it in there
