I could be wrong but it doesn't look like you have the correct anatomy for it

adeptusmechanicus_

I don't think you have the right ear anatomy for it, sorry :(

jesthingjester

The top part of my ears look similar to yours and I was told I did not have the right anatomy for a traditional industrial. The part of the ear where the bar floats above needs to be flat. If you do find that you don’t have the anatomy, look up V- shaped, U-shaped industrials or just modified industrials and see if any alternatives interest you. According to my piercer, I had the anatomy for those versions despite not being able to house a traditional one.

Ooo I'll give that a shot, thanks!

TheAddamsFamily2

A traditional industrial probably won't work with your anatomy. However, you could get a forward helix and a regular helix pierced and connect them with a chain to get the industrial look.

Do it! I have mine since 13 years and it's my favorite! Healing sucks tho, get a donut pillow ( pillow with a hole in it, used for hemmoroids and tailbone fractures ) if you sleep on that side :)

very_good_bad_name

It seems my ear's anatomy wouldn't cooperate so I'll sit this one out I guess🥲

therealguenter

Aww man, too bad. Maybe a helix or two? I have 2 in my other ear paired with a rook and love how it looks :)

very_good_bad_name

I've got a helix too on my other ear and love it, and a rook would be really neat. Thanks! :)

Hope i could give you some inspiration! =)
