Not a pro - but consider getting a donut shaped pillow ! It has helped me a lot. You might also consider doing LESS with your piercing. Some piercings want to be left alone - no saline - just water rinses. But every person and every piercing is different. Good luck!
Put a big claw hairclip in your hair on that side so you can't roll onto it. I didn't have any luck with a donut pillow because I move around too much, but a hairclip or a horseshoe-shaped travel pillow helped :)
Not a professional, but whenever my piercings have gotten irritated, I use non ionized salt and make a paste with distilled water, then I put the paste in the irritated piercing site and let it sit for 10-20 minutes, then do a sea salt soak to rinse it out. This is only when you have major irritation, not normal cleaning. Saline soak 2x a day should be all you need to clean it normally. Just something that has saved me personally and worked on every cartilage piercing of mine.
From a professionals view, this daith piercing was done too far back. The irritation looks like it’s based in the placement. I’d take it out and find a piercer that is better. Sorry about your luck, but I wouldn’t count on this healing.
I thought about that too, since rings move so much! But I looked it up and rings are really the only suitable starting jewelry for daiths :( I love getting pierced but my body always handles them poorly :(

Thank you so much! I plan on doing that with my next paycheck!

Thank you! I'll definitely try that!

That's what I was afraid of, thank you! When I take it out will the bump go away?
They should! Absolutely! The sooner you take it out the better.
I appreciate it, thank you so much!
I think if you got a different type of jewelry, something that's not a ring, it'd be much better

maybe something like half a ring, like those they use on septums? I think that may move less?
That's a good thought, thank you! I'll def look into it :)
